Currently live in your app store is the removal update for the Secret Agents Event…
At the moment I only see the removal update on Android, nothing on iOS yet currently available on iOS, but I did have to reboot my device to see it in the store. Amazon I can’t check, but if you see it let me know.Reportedly live on Amazon as well. And I don’t see a “what’s new” description just yet. If one shows up later I’ll add it to this post
Note: You may have to actually search your App Store for “Tapped Out” to see the update. It may not initially appear in the update list…if you still don’t see it try rebooting your device.

As of right now there’s nothing really “new” with this removal update. It just removes the event from your game…including rolling back the Splash Screen to the regular screen.
There are a few changes with this update though, which I’ll cover below…
First up, for a limited-time you can purchase additional HQs for Springfield..
These do cost DONUTS…
I’m not going to do a SIB post for it, because in my opinion you shouldn’t purchase more HQ buildings. Total waste of donuts. Save them for something better. But to each his/her own….
Available in stores until May 16th
The buildings that were awarded during the event, initially for free, now pay out cash and XP. Also, should you want to, you should now be able to store these buildings. Here’s the breakdown:
HQ Building (regardless of the skin on it)- Now earns $260, 26xp/20hrs
Hidden Research Facility- Now earns $260, 26xp/20hrs
Surveillance Post (Drone Scan)- Now earns $260, 26xp/20hrs
Speaking of Drone Scan…
You can still play this mini game. I’m digging to find out the new payouts but my first round awarded Rail Yard Trash and Springfield Heights Smart Phones (and XP)…

I managed to squeeze out 6 bonus donut rounds (18 in total) in this act, can’t wait to update and return Springfield back to “normal”. =-D
I was on the fence about the Hammock District and meant to get it last night but hesitated. The I updated this morning without another thought about it. I guess I didn’t want it too bad, I have a twinge of regret but I will survive… The even was ok but a little long. Overall I’m glad it’s over.
This was the most boring event ever for me…really low ebb with the game again…hope next time is exposive, and soon.
You Only Move Twice is my fav episode of all time, so this was my favorite event in recent memory. I hated Clash of Castles and the 2 Superhero events. I would like for them to come up with something else besides the craft, craft, get things repeat. In the beginning it was a lot simpler. Oh well.
I picked up so many characters and didn’t start any of their quests yet. My quest box has 11 things in it. Hopefully I can get them all done before the next event.

I’m surprised that I haven’t seen huge flotillas of Knightboats in my neighbors’ towns…
I have 19 Knightboats now, but almost all of them are hiding behind buildings on my Squidport, so my neighbors may never guess.😊
Perhaps you have neighbors that are not interested in that aspect of the game. For those that do, they have a flotilla, at least I do…
I guess I’m not on your neighbor list. I added over 75 to my waterfront 🤣
For me, it’s slightly more cost-effective to spend donuts on Mystery Boxes if I want to increase my bonus %. I get at least 4% per 38 donuts spent, which is better than even the Knightboat deal.
They hide quite well, but I did buy another 6 after they brought them back, still need to hide them. I think I have at least 15-20 hidden 😂 Couldn’t pass up that awesome bonus for donuts spent 😊
A temporal trip… Maybe they’ll be digging into their flashback episodes. We could get high school Marge and Homer, Marges Dad, Principal Dondelinger, The Be Sharps, etc.
Young Homer with a head full of hair and Young Marge with her blue hair loose and flowing woukd be AMAZING to have in our Springfield!
I just hope it is not clown college.
Glad the Drone Scan stayed. I like the mini-games almost as much as the entire package!

Maybe a trip back to the ’70s?
Actually, this would also be quite acceptable. HighSchool/Kid Homer and Marge characters would be hilarious walking around with adult Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.
Something I really want over all is a second sci-fi event that not only ties in with Futurama and the upcoming game it’s getting (as hard as it might be to get the licensing for the characters into Tapped Out), but also more time travel stuff like young Homer and Marge. Always bothered me that we got the kids as adults but not the adults as kids, since the flashback episodes always had a lot more larger significance and recognition than the future-based episodes.

My fav building was the castle skin, and my fav decoration was the black car.
My fav decoration was the landing target where the guy falls through. I can’t stop tapping on it.
Downloaded… I knew there was something fishy with the inability to craft more than one axillary agency. EA, you did it again… T-t-t-, you little scoundrel.
Just did update that removed spy stuff and about half my donuts are gone. I had about 130 now I’m at 68. Anybody else missing donuts.
Sounds like we are getting Krusty clown college. I hope we still get Springfield U buildings so we can build a college campus.

Looks like the originally switched the iPhone and iPad, but caught it and fixed it. Update first showed on my iPad, and downloading it did nothing. A few minutes later a different update showed on my iPad and it updated almost ok. Lost my Auxiliary Headquarters and the square of land it was on!
Contacting EA.
Update on contact with EA. They could not figure why the building was missing, and everything we did failed to make it appear. I was instructed to leave a comment on EA dot com, which I did. Since it was a free crafted building I am not to put out, but would like to have it for all the work that went into originally crafting it.
By the way, they contacted me within seconds of me leaving them the first message, but unfortunately unable to fix things without another update.
Update of an update, hard closed game, reopened and by magic the building was back! Left message and thanks on EA site.

For the drone scan, will you earn smart devices even if you have already maxed out this currency?
I did, i’m over capacity and still earned them (same with the trash)
Wow. So maybe this is EA’s tongue in cheek commentary on our smart phones eventually becoming nothing but recycled trash (or at best, paper weights). I’m here all night, folks.
Bought more premium characters for this event than I normally do, mainly characters I *wanted* who “just happened to be” part of the event. This, in turn, led to recovering lots of the bonuts I spent on them.
I Like these “leftover mini-games” a lot, mostly as a reminder of events past. Paying SH currency is nice too, but playing the mini-games is a nice walk down memory lane.
The tortoise and robot mini games from past events give out hundreds of XP, if you’re aiming for formerly-known-as level-up donuts. That’s why I always play them… Don’t know about the new one since I’m still tapping men in tan etc. and hoping for a few more spy bonus donuts.
I knew we would keep the Drone Scan game! I hope it RARELY gives some donuts!:)
iOS update is live. I’m downloading it now.
Welp, I downloaded it but it didn’t remove the event yet.
Did the download for iPhone but it doesn’t seem to take. Anyone else with this issue?

Trying to work my way through one last round of bonuts (three this time, which is good for me). I realized just a few minutes late last night that I missed out on Lurleen, though.

I will miss this event really liked the buildings characters and decorations.
Enjoyed the event, had enough, ready to be done. Daily task asking me to acquire 3,500 intel after I already have 110,0000 thus far. Had to be a typo. Grinding until the bitter end due to lack of inteligence. The things that I’ll do for a donut. Gritngile181
GRIT- I always swapped that one out. Did so this am & got 3 Donuts for 2 scan jobs. Whenever I swapped out ghe 1 Donut job, I got offered 3 or 1 Donut to send 5 people on jobs. Good luck. Hope you get your 🍩……💜X

Absolutely LOVED this event – probably ended up with a good 60-70 free donuts, easily. All I am looking for at this point is MORE LAND!!
