Well time to live life in the fast lane because we’ve got ourselves a Pin Pals Bowling Mini Event in Springfield! That’s right our pocket-sized Springfield’s have gone to the gutter….the bowling gutter that is…as we set em up to knock em down with this Bowling event!
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Pin Pals questline you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

How You Unlock It: Pin Pals Pt. 2
Make Burns Avoid Bowling- 3hrs, Earns 1, 35xp
Collect Blowing Shoes- x26.
Size: 6×3
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Vanity +100
Bonus %: 0.6% bonus on all cash and XP
Task: The Pin Pals all have a visual task at the lane.
Other Info: Once you unlock it you can purchase additional lanes for 25 donuts each. Each one you purchase give a .6% bonus. Not going to do a Should I Buy post on them, it’s one of those if you like it and need additional ones for your design grab an extra one or two. Otherwise, pass.
And that completes the details of the second Pin Pals prize!

What a great post! Did not realize the lanes could be used by the characters. Bought one more lane, so Apu and Homer bowls side by side, and Otto on the Claw Machine. Borrowing an idea from one of you guys to arrange lanes at back of the bowling place, I innovated and brought over Barneys bowling place, rotated it and placed it side by side so that it looks like one bowling joint but 2 entrances! Improvising!
I found myself buying a second one only because at the moment pin pal moe and burns are the only two premium suits I own for them. Apu’s is not premium and I use spy hat homer. as homer pin pal is also not premium. Moe and Burns both use the lane on a 4 hour timer sadly.
I bought 3 extra lanes so I could have all 4 bowling at the same time. Some of my new favorite animations. I Love 10 pin bowling but there is none on the island that I live on 🙁
Everybosy i fount a glitch play the claw game and go out of tsto and come back in and you get 2 prizes
Ooo, the suggestion to put them on the boardwalk is a good one. I could see an outdoor bowling lane in that type of atmosphere, kind of like skeeball.
To be honest, I like the pin playing games better than the spy quests. I have a somewhat related question regarding the end of the spy quests. Is it possible that the update somehow affects friends’ visits to my Springfield? I’m asking because since my game updated I have not had any visits from my friends , + no friendly taps. I continue to visit all of my friends towns, and I also see that they are still regularly playing the game. Any suggestions here? It’s really odd.
I love the pin pals game mini theme. All their outfits and I love Homer playing at bowling.. I appreciate the Claw game is a little disappointing however I do love the fact Otto can be seen playing it which improves it for me. I have 3 bowling lanes as I enjoy seeing several characters playing.

Thank you all so much for your input, I was waffling on additional lanes and on Nick’s, and your comments helped me decide. Alley McBalls, one of Nick’s Bowling Shops, and the 2 bowling alleys in a nice entertainment district, the other Nick’s and the 4 lanes on the boardwalk 😀

This mini event missed some potential. It would have been nice to have The Pin Pal’s rivals The Holy Rollers. I do keep in mind this was a mini event so EA wouldn’t go all out. Another episode that comes to mind is when Mr.Burns thought Homer stole his girlfriend but it was Snake who kidnapped Homer and the other woman. I guess not entirely Pin Pal related though.
The Claw game is not nearly as fun as some of the other mini-games!
I put it behind the community center along with the low blow boxing and the law machine sort of like an outdoor arcade
I’m happy I bought 2 extra lanes, it’s fun to watch them bowl 😊
It’s one of those weird things that you wouldn’t really find outdoors. And with now two bowling alleys to choose from, an additional outdoor bowling lane seems superfluous. Won’t complain about the “free” one, but I don’t think I will pick up additional lanes, even if I can’t send them all to bowl at the same time.
And just a quick question from a bowling newbie: wouldn’t it be more realistic if they all used the same lane, but took turns bowling, since they are all on the same team?
I picked up 5 lanes. Love watching them side by side, and they look a lot better together!
So, I believe all 4 Pin Pals have a task at this bowling alley. But you can only send one at a time. Found this out when I sent Homer to do one of the quest tasks, set all other characters in 4-hour tasks (that weren’t doing quest tasks), and found Pin Pal Apu couldn’t do his normal “bowl” tasks that he’d just do wherever he was standing. He now has to do it at the bowling alley.
So I guess if we have more than one of these alleys, you can send characters that use it to each one? Sneaky move, EA. 😄
DRZK13- Yes, but they look so cool all doing their 4hr tasks (Homer’s is 8hrs). I caved in and purchased a few….💜X

Are we going to talk about the 300 Easter egg?
Yes, don’t worry. The problem is when I put information like that in another post, without the title of the post being “EASTER EGG….” people will miss it and I’ll have to explain it a million times in the comments. So it needs it’s own post. Which it will get.

What’s the 300 Easter egg?
Send your Pin Pals to do something for 20hrs. You’ll see.
If you send each of the Pin Pals (Homer, Burns, Apu and Moe) to do the 20 hour “Go Bowling” task, you unlock a 300 balloon.
(This is only what I’ve read – I haven’t unlocked it yet.)
I’m not sure what to do with this thing. It gives Bonus % so I placed it in my Springfield, but it looks weird, because it’s a thing which normally should be inside a building.
I know what you mean. I bought 4 so each Pin Pal had their own lane. I made an outside bowling lane in my fun park area. Next to the batting cages and mini golf. Doesn’t look as odd. But yes, it should be an indoor item.
I put 4 on the Squidport next to some bars and bowling shops and other arcade games.
Bought a second one for design ideas…

You might need multiple lanes if you want to send Pin Pals on their bowling jobs at the same time. Each player gets his dedicated lane.
