Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well it’s been teased in game..and now we finally remember what Homer forgot! Time to go back in time using a sophisticated toaster! That’s right for this first “Act” Homer will travel back to the Prehistoric days…when dinosaurs roamed the earth, cavemen played with fire & Artie Ziff’s ancestor got all the caveladies attention!
As was mentioned on the rundown post the Prehistoric Act runs until June 11th, and you’ll need Homer to get things started.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first part and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
Let me add I’m very pleased so far with the questlines. Looks like EA extended it beyond just the initial run through, and the dialogue is really funny. Nice to see the classic dialogue is back!

Please help! I have completed (or so I think) all my task so I should be getting started on placing the small iceberg right? But nothing is happening, I don’t even see a task for it on my bar. What do I do? Am I missing something
Hello, fellow Tappers, long time no see! 🙂 I had to come here and leave a comment – this update is just too good! 😀 First of all, Toaster scene from Halloween episode is my ALL TIME favorite – i’ve literally watched it hundreds of times. So when i saw the event is based on that,i was beyond excited! 😀 Prizes are not too good this time, aldo i’m very much excited for Lizard Homer and Caveman Moe! 😊 Bit the Exacavation site… This is so addictive. I’ve spent donuts and donuts to buy shovels and play, and this is the first for me, because as a freemium player i am always saving those and i spend them only when necessary. But this… I just want to dig those gems up all day long! 😂
Also, Mom and Pop Hardware is the best building we’ve got lately, especially because the episode this store is shown in, is also one of my all time fave. Homer building BBQ is the funniest scene ever, so I’m thankful for this building because it reminds me of this episode. 😊
I am also very pleased to have Cecil! I adore Cecil and was positively surprised when I saw I got him for free! Even though his tasks are beyond expensive, I am so glad to have him in my town. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the fact that he and Bob don’t have any tasks in common. I also have a question, is his quest here to stay, like Money mountain was? Because at this rate, I’ll be able to finish this in 5 years 😂 I make 1 million a week. So it’s gonna be a loooong quest.
Thanks to EA for this awesome event, i’m very excited to see what happens in Acts 2 & 3. 😊
I agree digging is addictive, like playing mine hunter. I am glad I have 3 games so I don’t need to buy more shovels. You should look into KEM farming and mystery box buying to increase the amount of money you get every day.

It’s Prehistoric – Egyptian – Pirates (no room for Dad’s Day, EA?)
For those stuck, you may still have time. With 17 shovels, I am finding 3 gems a lot of times, and sometimes 4 gems. I now have 39 of the 48 needed, in less than 3 days. Just hit 1000 Specimens.

Do we know how many raptors (?) can be in our town at a time? Max and bank, if there is a bank? And spawn rate if you know that too?

I bought some shovels and uncovered e hidden gem but my task bar on the left says I need to uncover a hidden gem. Although I have gone that the task bar shows that I have not completed the task Help!!!!!
What happens when you hit do it?
It sends me to the dig and wants me to buy shovels. But I can’t send characters because the mom and pop store says I have not met requirements

My quest line on the left side of the screen says I have not completed the task but I have found several gems by buying shovels. It still says I need to find a gem to complete the task Stuck!!!
What happens if you go in without shovels and just tap a square?
Nothing but saying I need to by shovels and around and around we go

If that’s the case try uninstalling and reinstalling. If that doesn’t work contact EA

As I said..the next move is to contact EA. There’s no other way around it
Ty for the help as I have same problem I have actually done the homer one check photo and I have 5 gems I also bought shovels and remove tsto two times on all my machines I see to contac EA do you have a site to go to to get EA thanks I have the first prize for collecting gems out on game but it’s telling me to in task bar collect a gem so sorry for bothering you love this site

Has anyone noticed this – maybe I missed a past update but I manually assigned tasks to all the characters last night and saw afterwards that somehow my money was down by $5 million – Cecil Terwilliger I later realized has these insanely expensive tasks which basically do nothing – one for $10 million! And I mistakenly chose one not realizing initially that I just set a task for someone where I had to pay for it – but $5 million? Am I missing something here?
It is a new quest for Cecil Terwilliger and yes…. those tasks are very very expensive!

You need to build Mom&Pop Hardwareto get more shovels.
