Time to grab toast as we travel back…wayyyy back…in time with Homer in the all new TTT (Time Travel Toaster) event! Homer’s taken us back to the Prehistoric Era and we’ve got Dinosaurs, Cavemen & of course other Prehistoric items in our Springfield just tempting us with those sprinkles!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Prehistoric Jungle to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this mosquito beater to your town…
Decoration: Prehistoric Jungle
Donut Cost: 85 Donuts
Bonus %: 2.75% bonus all cash and XP
Size: 6×6

Other Info: Can be placed on the Grass/Dirt or Beach. Earns 820

Pros
-Nice decoration, fits nicely with other Prehistoric Decor
-Always animated, water. But when tapped additional animation…mosquito flies to the flower and the flower “eats” it.
Cons
-No questline (or even a little bit of dialogue) associated with it
-Bonus % isn’t great for donuts spent. Not bad, but not great
-Does not/will not help with the event
Final Thought
Premium
It’s one of those Premium Toss ups. If you like it grab it, otherwise pass. No big benefit to grabbing this one in my opinion.
Freemium
I’d pass on this one. Just not worth the donuts spent.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I’ll likely be passing on this one. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I bought it and love it 😍 I’m loving this event so far, and am especially happy that the Cave Walls can be bought with in-game cash (plus the ropes & returning items). Thank you for telling us about the animation, I didn’t know, it’s cool 😎
I didn’t really feel drawn to this, but loved the acid pools. So I went for it. I like it! Fits well near my tar pits.
If I had room next to my other waterfalls, I’d consider it. I don’t have a place for it with the other prehistoric stuff, because most of that is ending up in my desert or my movie studio. This is probably a pass for me. I do like that flower, though. Maybe I’ll find a spot for it.
I found myself in the same position…had to store the pink volcano and spy stuff to make room for the new event. I kinda like the jungle items better, so it wasn’t much of a hardship😁.
I like it, but I have to draw the line somewhere. Even though I have a decent stash of donuts, it’s not going to be enough to buy everything offered during this event plus the vault. Plus, I need to demonstrate a little self-restraint.

I like it😄…Moe’s zoo is one of my favorite things in the game👍. We always have new crazy critters that work well there….just bought a giant grasshopper to add to mine, also put the screamapillar there.🐛

I bought it simply because I felt it went well with the tree slide, which I also got. I’m building a prehistoric jungle (complete with the cavernous caves). Normally I would pass all day long, but I can’t pass up dinosaurs and such…darn you EA, finding my sweet spot….
I put mine next to the tree slide, too. I love it 😊

An addition con for me on this was, when I pulled it up like I was going to buy it, it is too small for my taste.
So passing on it.
I am not sure if I would have gotten it anyway, as you pointed out the bonus % is not very impressive.
I would really like to see EA put bonus% more inline with the discounted Kinghtboat deal. Those seemed to me to be more of a fair & equal bonus = donuts spent.

Buy the donut boat and you can make it rain anytime. Or find a neighbor who has one.
