Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
So a few Addicts Live episodes back we teased the idea of a West Coast Addicts Meet Up. We met a bunch of our East Coast Readers back in March 2015 and thought it was time to get out and see what the West Coast has to offer. (Yes, Middle America I know..we’re coming for you next 😉 )
West Coast was an ideal location for us because both Patric and Wook live out there, so it really only involved me getting my butt on a plane and taking that 6hr trek…
So now we’re ready to announce the dates and details of the West Coast Meet Up, so let’s get to it..
So we’ll be in California, and what’s located in California? Universal Studios Hollywood of course…which contains Springfield USA! So we thought what better place for a bunch of TSTO Addicts to hang out than Universal Studios, Springfield!
So come out to Universal Studios Hollywood and hang out with Patric, Wookiee, myself and of course the Tiny Addict! Plus the first round at Moe’s is on me!
Here are the details:
Date: August 19th, 2017 (Saturday)
Time: I believe the park opens at 9am, so we’ll likely meetup around 11am or so.
Location: Moe’s Tavern, Universal Studios Hollywood (Park Admission will be required and not provided by the Addicts)
More Details: So this one is going to be pretty low key compared to our last Meet Up. Just come hang out with us and our families at Universal Studios Hollywood. We’ll check out Springfield USA, explore the park and more. Of course you’re welcome to do your own thing and just come hang out with us at Moe’s if you’d like.
We’ll post a firm meetup time as it gets closer.

Hmmm. While I read the site regularly, I can’t say I’ve actively participated to any great extent. That being said, I do live pretty much right at the foot of the hill to Universal, so this may be hard to pass up!

I know this has nothing to do with the subject, but can ANYONE tell me why automatic bridge- railings are NOT coming up when you place a road between 2 “rivers”? I’m trying to fit in that dam and I removed my road/railings/water to fit it in the way I like it, and when I replaced them, poof! No bridge railings. Then, I went to some random open grass and tested it out and still nothing. Any answer would be great. Thanks!!
The road has to be on a water tile to change into a bridge, it won’t work if it’s on grass. Try putting water tiles on the spot where the road will go, then put the road tiles directly on top of the water tile.
What about Bunny? Is she no longer an addict? Sorry I haven’t been around in a while.

Just wondering if anybody would be interested in doing the VIP Experience that day. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it. The last one begins at 12:45. It includes VIP parking, lunch, front of line access and private backstage tour. We did it 10 years ago and had a blast.
D’oh! We were just there in February 😕 Would still really enjoy meeting some fellow addicts as I know no one personally who taps. Only about a 7 hr drive so not too bad and may be doable. Maybe if I can incorporate a Disney trip into it, I can convince the fam…….ok just my wife 😂😂😂 I know she’ll call me crazy

Morning Everbody(still morning in CA). I’m going to do my best to be there, I want to see those lil curls in person (Riley). Working with my BF as she plays & this meet up is in middle of our birthdays so would be awesome present to each other, not to mention we have been to many parks but not Universal together.

LOL! When the post went live, I searched flights, but couldn’t find a ticket under $500 a few hours ago. I then went out shopping and at the exit bought a LottoMax and Lottario ticket too, with the intention of hopefully winning enough to fly to LAX, LOL! Great minds think alike.
Look into burbank safi… thats where we’re flying in got a good rate.

It worked out for us, Burbank. I tried John Wayne and Ontario too, but Burbank was by far the cheapest for us.

Along with the new event characters there seems to be a new character in the “4th of July” category. In the “More Kids” category there is a Mozart Bart character in the group.
