Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

The Time Travelling Toaster Event hit our Springfields big time last week! Dinos, dig sites, Cavepeople & Prehistoric fun have all hit our towns in this first part of the event. What are your thoughts on the event so far? How are you fairing?
Yesterday we announced the details for the Addicts West Coast Meet Up, will you be joining us to hang out?
How was the rest of your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? First weekend of June, summer will be here before you know it!

Maybe I missed a post or announcement, but did anyone else notice that the number of items in the Store has been drastically reduced?
I had set some #lifegoals to eventually unlock all of the playable Springfielders. But I seem to recall that it would take over 3500 donuts for me to complete this goal. But I checked near the start of this event and suddenly I only need 1700 donuts to purchase all of the available characters.
Some of the disappearances that I can remember off the top of my head include: Jubjub (the Iguana), the Rich Texan, Arnie Pyle, and a bunch of NPCs (like the Squidport entertainers).
Did EA decide to retire a bunch of characters? Or is this just a temporary thing during the event? If I knew that some of the characters were getting “archived,” I might have considered purchasing them sooner.
Nevermind…I found the posting about The Vault. Not sure how I missed that.
Jeeeez. I just made it Caveman Moe, Dino & Homer Lizzard. Now saving up the extra shovels. Hope it gets easier for the Egyptian Era. I had to play 5 times a day lately.
All my Doh’nuts from KEM farming is going bonus %.( only at 50%), so no new Booberella to help there 🙁
Ok, I’m at a crossroads right now. I’ve had the lousiest personal 2 weeks I have had in a while…(2 fam members died within days of each other and other craptastic stuff) and I got the news the day and the moment I was starting the event of the first one. Now, every time I load the game it brings me back to that moment but I have pushed through. I managed somehow to get the fossils needed to get Moes cave, but I’m like 40 gems away from the T. rex. I only got boobrella as my premium collector and somehow doesn’t matter what strat I used, I always end up using ten shovel per gem. There’s 2 days left. I got like 40 donuts. Is it worth me spending on the T. rex or should I save them for the next part?
sorry about your loss. A consistent search pattern should yield a better result. My pattern is (3,3),(4,5),(5,2),(6,4),(2,6),(1,4),(2,1),(4,1),(6,1),(6,6).
1/36 (3,3) will hit on the first time. But if a rock is there I will hit the jewel in 4 attempts. I am averaging 3+ gems per 17 shovels.
I found that the search grid from Da Pimp works the best
I just wanted to say that I was really disappointed with the homer reptile @ 10,000 that was just too much for too little returned! Maybe we could start a seperate discussion about the worst value crafted item in the game.

I agree about the Homer reptile, the good thing is you can only get one. I have not seen it again since I crafted it several days ago. Not worth the 10,000.

Hi all!! I’ve been lying low lately, busy with things like teaching and camping- though not at the same time!!
I was quite a way behind on this event due to that but I think I’ve just about caught up with the calendar and should make it with a few hours to spare.
Officially 4 weeks today until I leave my current school- new job starts in September so I hope I can pick up a couple of weeks of supply work to help top up my savings and keep me afloat. Plenty of other things to keep me occupied though.

I love it when I can use my Wiccans as backing singers to Mooch Bart or Rockstar Maggie, using their four hour task (cast a spell). It works best on my B game😎….💜X
Ok… I’m having a hard time finding anything on this item, I don’t know how I missed it, but it’s showing up in several of my neighboreeno’s towns… it’s a really cool looking dam… it’s not in the store anywhere, not craftable, not in the prize track, I can’t find it anywhere available. I want it. LOL 😂 I also would like to know wth is up with Cecil Terwilliger’s tasks that are costing millions to send him on… I know I’ve been drugged up, but I seriously couldn’t have missed something like either of these things 😐 HAALLLLPPPPPPP ME PLEASE😁

Just a moving version of the one we got earlier. Not worth 80 donuts, unless you are a completest or have plenty donuts. 5 donuts, maybe.
I finally got to see it walking around a neighbor’s town, you are right about not worth it. I’m much happier with the free version.
At 80 donuts, even I said “sayonara” to the giant screamapillar…no way.😝

Can someone tell me what’s up with Cecil twillinger? What did I just spend a million dollars on? I hope it’s not egg for my face! Seriously, what are those first 3 or 4 actions I can choose from when I tap on him? Are they just a waste of money?
They are for those expensive items (Road to Riches) you’ll find below the Daily Challenges and Rail Yard Project Board sections.
This got me too on my secondary device that doesn’t have as much loot. Wasn’t happy when I accidentally did this.
Hey tapperinos… So when I started this new event yesterday and then Cecil Terwilliger came up on my list to find a task for he had an option to spend $1mill, 5 or 10 and I didn’t realize that it was me spending that money and thought that it was part of the new event… anyways I was a little taken back when I realized that all of my $5mill+ was gone! now I can’t figure out what that money was spent on exactly… I know I can’t get it back but anyone know what I spent $5million on???
Look up in the right hand corner where the daily task resides…when you tap it, there are 3 sections now…daily task, Monorail parts, and a new section(green) called Road to Riches. The first item to build is a dam, and I expect you spent 5mil towards that project without realizing it. If you tap Cecil Terwilliger, he now has new tasks in the list…look closely, some of them are to spend money towards the building project. It’s easy to tap the wrong thing and I expect you are now 25% owner of a new dam (oh dam!). There are three new items to build, progressively more expensive…think Money Mountain (with all the perks and benefits that brought😏) and just throw your money into the pit…errr…building fund.
You’re contributing to the funds to build the Springfield Dam. $20M, and it gets more expensive each item after (only 3 others though)
That five million gives you one eighth of Springfield Dam.
Correction: one quarter.
So how’s everyone been doin on collecting intel in their neighbors’ towns so far? I just finished my daily run today so there’s ‘No more intel.’ I’ll have to ‘Come back tomorrow to steal some more!’
EA QC Team…I’m looking your direction and smh. Let’s not even start on 10k needed for Homer Lizard with the lvl 5 cap at 5500. Gonna love trying to find the remaining 4500 the hard way.
Bunches of prehistoric ferns…at least they have an excellent tachyon return on placement.
It’s not a matter of needing Tachyons, it’s that I’ve been using the spend button in the crafting section to track down those dinos for Specimens to craft the next item. I don’t want to waste Specimens duplicating items I may not need/want to get up to the next level of crafting.
I’m at 100/5500 of lvl 5 now and Homer Lizard is 10K Specimens, so once I reach 5500, I can’t use that button to find the remaining dinos. This means I’ll be spending a lot of time trying to find all of them before my next 4 hr checkup; which is in my belief the second QC fail I’ve seen in this update. Did you guys catch the other one?
This idea just popped in my head. We have had Great events with a Lot of new amazing stuff!! But, I feel like I don’t know what to do with a lot of it. So, my idea was. Maybe they could help us make “attractions” that would look nicer and make more sense. Like “China Town” “Dinosaur Exhibit” “Back to the Wild West” and make them around 5 doughnuts apiece? And many more suggestions would be great!!!

This mini update that just came through (like in game, not from the play store) has super zoomed in my town and all my neighbour towns – like the max zoom in, and I can’t zoom out. Has this happened to anyone else? Some other weird things happened like the load screens being fairly blank but that corrected when I closed the app and relaunched. But still zoom! Really sucks for dino tapping :/
never mind it was because I toggled power saving off (which changes your resolution) and tapped out was open and I think it confused the hell out of the game. My mistake.
So once you have the baby T Rex the plan is to keep amassing spades but not to use them? That right? Thanks 🙂
Hi all! Just got the Baby T-Rex (adorable by the way), and now I’m wondering if I should continue to use the shovels to dig up the excavation area OR if I should wait until the Egyptian event! I don’t recall seeing if the big jewels carry over into the next event. If not, it seems like a good idea to wait. Thoughts?
If you’ve finished the main prize track, then yes i would start saving shovels for the next act

Anyone else finding Lisa’s Excavation Site quotes to be getting kinda grating now? Even worse when you’re lucky enough to get more than 2 finishes in a row. Meh, I’ll live.
Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed a reduction in their tapping ability for the Insanity minigame? I used to be able to tap 100-125 tortoises and now I get around 60-80.
I also am tapping about half.
You’re lucky. After it was first introduced I got 100-125, then it dropped to 60-80. But now after the update for this event I get 35-45 on average. 50+ is a rare occasion.
Haven’t used that one lately because Homer always seems to be occupied elsewhere, but I found that it is dependent on the device I use, and the overall size of my town (or rather the amount of streets). My phone gives me more than my tablet, and the smaller the town/the fewer streets, the more tortoises I get.
