Time Travel Toaster Prize Guide: Prehistoric Era, Prize 1 Mammoth Statue

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Hang onto your toasters my friends because we’re going flying through space and time!  The latest event in TSTO has us going wayyy back in time to when Dinosaurs roamed the earth, Pharaohs were building pyramids & Pirates hobbled around on their peg legs!

This Event is broken up into 3 Eras, with each Era containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the first Era, Prehistoric, you’re tasked with collecting Fossils () to unlock each prize!

The First Prehistoric Era Prize awarded at 9,100 is the Mammoth Statue, because nothing says prehistoric like a giant Wooly Mammoth stuck to wood…

So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 9,100 you’ll automatically be awarded the statue and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place the mammoth in your Springfield or store him in your inventory for later.  Remember if you store him you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve him (and you won’t get Tachyon credit until you’ve placed him)

It does come with a little bit of dialogue when placed:

Bart: Look, Stampy — it’s your great-great-great grandfather.
Stampy: *LONG, LONG ELEPHANT TRUMPET*
Bart: Okay, okay, you’re a different species.  Thanks for the biology lesson. I was just making conversation.

That’s it.  Just place and move on…

And here are the quick details:

Size: 4×3
Tachyons When Placed: 486  (Remember you have to PLACE it in your Springfield to get the Tachyon credit.  You won’t get credit if you store it in your Inventory and never place it…after placed and Tachyons are paid out you can store it without consequence)
Earns: Nada for now.  Just a decoration..but who knows.  I’m sure one day EA will bring it back as a premium item and throw a bonus % on it…
Conform-O-Meter:
Vanity +100
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass/pavement/beach/boardwalk/dirt/pier
Animation: None.  Non-animated decoration.

And there you have it, the details behind the Mammoth Statue, the first Prehistoric Prize!

What’s Next?

ico_stor_single_freelandtokenTechnically the Free Land Tile is next….awarded at 16,700, but since that’s not a tangible gift for Springfield (just a free land space) the next prize we’ll cover is…

Pterodactyl Nest- Awarded at 28,100.  This will be the next prize we break down in the prize guide post.

What are your thoughts on the Mammoth Statue? Safe to assume you’ve unlocked it by now?  Where have you placed it in your Springfield?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. It’s a shame this Whooly Mammoth Statue didn’t come with a 2% – 5% Bonus (it’s getting stored – along with the two NPC’s) but that’s EA for you 🤔

  2. Josephine Kick@$$

It’s ok enough, looks good. I guess since it’s on a platform & is a statue, no animation slides by as being acceptable 🙂

  3. Following recent trends, if our fuzzy friend here does ever return as a premium item, EA will likely leave this prize version as is without a bonus percentage. #pessimistorrealist #justblewyourmind haha

  4. Thanks for posting how many tachyons this awarded and I thought this had a sound of a mammoth when tapped. For now I have it on a random piece of land, this, the triceratops statue and other similar items I was thinking of maybe trying to make an outdoor museum exhibit area with the Springsonian.

    • I have a neighbor who did that…walled in an area behind the Springsonian and then roped off each display…turned out great👍😁.

      • This is from mwebster:

        • That’s a really good design from mwebster with the back of the museum having a prehistoric section and the dinosaur lake looks big since I haven’t unlocked it yet but the dirt path does complement the lake. The other designs you uploaded on this post look really great an inspirational. Carie’s use of the willow trees looks good with the lake and cave. Greengirll’s 3D effect with the excavation site works really well with makeing the site look deep in the ground and the museum looks great with the railing and velvet rope. Ladislav using the nothing to see heres from the last event to cover the alien is hilarious. Nick using the waterslide tree to cover the end of the dino lake is very creative. Ebron using the penny fountain + the pagan banners goes really well with the museum, along with the other players using items from previous events that I thought didn’t go well with anything from the event they were first released (dome drill, screamapillar pond, palm trees, chili tent and the lava machine are some) is very ingenious and inventive that it was all done during the first week of the event (only four more to go). I had forgotten about the velvet rope and the cave wall with this event along with some other little decorations from previous events are in store and best of all the cost in game cash (no walls that cost crafting currency seem to be in this event).

    • That’s what I’ve been working on. 🙂

  5. I don’t know why…but I thought of Wookiee when I won this 😀 😀 😀

  6. Just wanted to give a quick shout out to two of my neighbors…Carie and GreenGirl…both of your prehistoric sections are truly awesome! I look forward to visiting both of you every day👍😁.

  7. Hi. Is captain Bob just a skins for silent bob? I have 100 donuts is he a good by?

  9. Samuraigeezer

Still need two prizes, but I think I’ll manage, lovely event. I just had to buy the raptor npc, it’s a shame they upped the donut price though, I only had 4,99 on my iTunes account so I didn’t buy any donuts.
