Time to grab toast as we travel back…wayyyy back…in time with Homer in the all new TTT (Time Travel Toaster) event! We’ve flashed forward from the land of Dinos to the era of pyramids, Pharaohs and Sphinxes…and of course we’ve got loads of Egyptian Era items in our Springfield just temping us with those sprinkles!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Pharaoh Throne & Pharaoh Skinner to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this dictator to your town…

-4hr task to earn shovels, earns 4 shovels…the most you can earn (only Cavegirl Booberella earns as much)
-Earns Tacyons when placed (for leveling up Panini Press)

-150 donuts is WAY over priced for a skin and decoration (that only offers a 2.25% bonus)
Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
I know some premium players will be outraged when I say this, but DO NOT BUY THIS. Pass. Premium or freemium. The price is nuts for a skin and decoration that only offers a 2.25% bonus. Way over priced. Pass.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’m passing. I’ll spend donuts on some crazy stuff, but I draw the line at 150 donuts for a costume..not even a canon custom at that. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games for good (or for now).

I got the same message when I tried to purchase donuts contacted EA they told me to uninstall then reinstall the app didn’t help actually did that twice and it took forever for my town to download again so what I did was visited a neighbor and came back and was able to purchase a dozen which was what I needed for Pharaoh Skinner can also try going to krusty land and back to see if you get lucky
I bought… yes, nuts, but I can’t wait to walk like an Egyptian 😂 I liked the extra shovels because I want more of the crafting currency … how many for 1 camel??? 10,000 you say??? EA was the one who was nuts on that amt 😲
I’m also having the same problem with buying donuts too. When I click to buy them, it says, “There are no purchases to be restored.” What does that even mean because I’m so confused as what they mean by that.
Buying the donuts has been working for me over the last couple of weeks until last weekend. Has this happened to anybody else before or how to fix the problem? I wanted to buy Gravedigger Billy & the Cemetery Plot, as well as the Pharaoh Throne.
If anybody has any suggestions tips or advice on what to do, then pleaseclet me know!!!!! I would really & truly appreciate any kind of help!!!!!! 🙂

Pharaoh Throne & Pharaoh Skinner
Well, we already have a Future Secret Agent Skinner Character (my guess as to why Pharaoh Skinner is not a separate Character) …. 150 Donuts / Bonuts is too steep a price when a Premium Skin isn’t earning Shovels at Premium Rate (EA is going to learn what price works when this ends up in the Store again at discount!) … a shame as I would’ve made a purchase for 70 Donuts / Bonuts!🤔
Was unhappy with yet another elementary school in our games…Dr Tyler commented that it is not identified as such, so the building could be adapted to any use. Brilliant! 🤓
I ended up using it as a gate/entrance to my walled oasis area and it fits perfectly…thanks for the tip (love my neighbors!)😍.

Bought it because of the xp boost and 12hr visual task, although the xp is not that high, at this point I like having different items that boost xp even if they don’t truly justify the donuts spend…
Would have liked the chair but not at the price, dam looks good, couldn’t get water to connect ?
it is easer if you place the water tile first, then place the dam so that the rivers align. If you are trying to connect to an existing river, you will have to center the dam exactly and it cannot overlap the river…it should just meet it.
I’m a bit annoyed that EA is making us buy new skins for already premium characters just to earn event currency, I don’t mind so much with Skinner since there’s a chance new players might not already have a Premium skin, but if they’re going to charge that much for it… I wish it was a better item to go with it.
