Should I Spend Donuts on the Egyptian Playgound?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Time to grab toast as we travel back…wayyyy back…in time with Homer in the all new TTT (Time Travel Toaster) event!  We’ve flashed forward from the land of Dinos to the era of pyramids, Pharaohs and Sphinxes…and of course we’ve got loads of Egyptian Era items in our Springfield just temping us with those sprinkles!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Egyptian Playground to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this sandy playground to your town…

Pros
-Good Bonus % for donuts spent
-Animated when tapped, see-saw moves up and down & teatherball move around

Cons
-Just a decoration.  No tasks associated there
-No questline or dialogue when placed

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
If you like how it looks, go for it (might go nice on the beach).  Otherwise pass.  The bonus % is good for donuts spent and it is animated when tapped.  So if it’s something you like and think you could use in Springfield, grab it…regardless of Premium/Freemium status.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’m pretty sure I’m passing.  Just really doesn’t appeal to me.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games for good (or for now).

What are your thoughts on Egyptian Playground?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield?  Why or why not?  Where have you placed it in your Springfield?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. i am now tempted to buy as it can go on the beach….thanks Alissa

  2. Can the Flanders kids play on the see saw?

  3. As for the bonus…

20 D / % (news van and other stuff) is standard.
    15 D / % (jet bike) is bargain.
7,8 D / % (mystery box) is what I do in the moment.
    This one is 22.222… D / %.
I will look for a beachside placement, if it doesn’t fit in I will gladly pass 😀

  4. It was an immediate but (hee-bee..darn auto-correct!) BUY for me… Even BEFORE the careful insight from all thee at Addics. Ü I am fine with the decoration BUT I was hoping Rod & Todd to have a cute lil’ task there… A bit like the lower level “see-saw” task. Despite, I am glad I bought and appreciate the “beach” possibilities all the brilliant Addicts have mentioned above! I love my neighbors! XO!

  5. If I had space by the stonecutter daycare, I would definitely get it. I’m considering it anyway just because it looks so neat.

  6. Egyptian Playground
    Nice Bonus XP
A shame there’s no Character Tasks offered (or I would spend the Bonuts) 🤔

  7. It tickled my fancy and the new school needed it, so I went for it. No regrets! 🙂

  8. Saw this online and had to share it…available at a site called snorgtees….

  9. Was unsure, but being able to make a beach playground cinched it😁. It’ll probably end up at Stonecutter’s Daycare, tho, cuz I expect the beach property will be taken over by the pirate stuff in Act 3.

  10. Quick question to my fellow TSTO…sters, could someone give me ideas how to use the cave wall in decorations? I’m having a hard time figuring out what to do with this one.
    Thanks in advance.

  11. I passed. Maybe if Tuts ‘n’ Tots had permanent tasks there for kids and school workers I would’ve invested the donuts in the accompanying playground but it’s just an unused building so I didn’t feel the need to accessorize.

  12. i refuse to spend money on this game after ea games treated me like crap….couldnt log on for 8 days due to a game error and only had 3 days of to get first stage of event completed….offered me 15 donuts and i told them to shove them somewhere

  13. Would be cool if the kids had a task there like they do the Big-T theater and the Cypress Creek school. (I actually wish there were a lot more buildings like that – like you could send all the adults to dinner at Luigi’s or all Springfielders to the mall or something. The closest we have are the Kwik-E-Mart one hour tasks and the Moe’s 8 hour tasks for a couple dozen Springfielders).

  14. Josephine Kick@$$

I thought it looked cool, & the bonus cinched it for me 😊

  15. Hello everyone
    It’s a bit expensive, I don’t buy.

  16. I bought it to put near my Stonecutter Daycare Center.
TBH, I’m going to probably use all of the Egyptian-themed items to help spruce up that area.

    • My thoughts exactly. I haven’t purchased it, but I plan on doing so. I’m going to put my stonecutter stuff (of which I have little, since I wasn’t tapping when this event was live) with the Egyptian stuff and make a small little area. The playground behind the daycare would look spot-on, especially with the symbology built into it.

  17. I like it. I don’t think we have enough park/playground items in the game. And it’s only 5 doughnuts off from (what I consider) a standard multiplier:doughnut ratio.
