I don’t agree that he was the best father part, but the son was a pretty cool character that should be in Tapped Out already!

Yesterday I had Mayan Marge available at the Shop. Also Mayan God together with that wheel.
Bought both items.
But some of Mayan Marges tasks are not available at the moment. I guess normally they get available during a questline.
But no questline triggered for her. I guess Mayan Homer is needed, but he wasn’t available.
Has anyone else had her in store and bought her?
I guess that’s a bug and they were not supposed to be available by now … maybe later
Yes this happened to me too, from what I can work out it is mayan homer needed to unlock the rest of her tasks.
I feel a bit aggrieved spending 90 donuts on a skin with half the tasks missing, and one of the tasks she does have isn’t even premium!
Now even if mayan homer is also released I’ll have to spend more donuts on him.
I suppose there are worse things in life, I’m easily irritated by things like this though 8-}
I finished the first era on time, with no premium characters. I did log in 4-5 times a day though and got Moe and the dinosaur with 1 day to spare. I think what threw me off was two things: I only realized the strategy for the excavation site after 3 or 4 days in when Alissa posted it and I got lazy wanting to find all the dinosaurs in town and tap them. But hopefully this should get easier in the egyptian and pirate eras since the panini press upgrades allow for more currency from excavating and for you to blast all the roamers more frequently without having to hunt them down. I am moving through the Egyptian era much quicker and almost unlocked the 4hr blast on the panini press.
Patric, I think Mr. Sparkle says something like “is turnip the size of daikon” but that doesn’t make much sense, but thats what I hear. This site also lists all his phrases. http://simpsonstappedout.wikia.com/wiki/Mr._Sparkle

Maybe you accidentally did a Cecil dam task?
Check your progress with The Road to Riches. Some people have had their money go into that event. Did you send Cecil on a task that required a large amount of money? Check Cecil’s tasks, some use up money to perform.
Are you sure you didn’t do Cecil’s Road to Riches tasks by accident? If you don’t know what I mean, read the part of this post, near the end, that explains it.

From a technical side Alissa your in shadows (I know I’m critical about lightning but I’ve seen many a crappy set look great under good lighting and I’m NOT comparing you to a crappy set!) I had an idea which I’m sure others will have thought of, ……..
Use the Egyptian stuff to decorate the pyramid shaped casino that we got a while back (didn’t get it myself…I think it was one of the last prizes in the event) alternatively, the Egyptian stuff can go outside one of the museums.
Another good idea I saw in a neighbour’s town was to have the brontosaurus pool above/behind the dam

Darn – completely forgot about Addicts Live today, and I was just sitting here in bed and could have easily watched. 🙁
As for the poll, I voted on which character I liked best as a dad, not which one I like best in general. I voted for Wiggum, because Ralph is a bit of a….ummm…challenge, but Wiggum takes him in stride and clearly still loves him. Abe was a kind of crappy dad when Homer was a kid, so I’m kind of surprised he’s in second place.
Wish I wasn’t late, I’ll have to watch the replay 😊
