Time Travel Toaster Prize Guide: Egyptian Era, Prize 3 Tuts ‘n’ Tots Elementary

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Hang onto your toasters my friends because we’re going flying through space and time!  The latest event in TSTO has us going wayyy back in time to when Dinosaurs roamed the earth, Pharaohs were building pyramids & Pirates hobbled around on their peg legs!

This Event is broken up into 3 Eras, with each Era containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the second Era, Egyptian, you’re tasked with collecting Papyri () to unlock each prize!

The third Egyptian Era Prize awarded at 30,600 is Tuts ‘n’ Tots Elementary, because Egyptian kids have to learn somewhere…

So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 30,600 you’ll automatically be awarded Tuts ‘n’ Tots and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place the school in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later.  Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it (and you won’t get Tachyon credit until you’ve placed it)

It does come with a little bit of dialogue once built (4hr build time) and a task for Skinner…here’s a look at the dialogue:

“A” Is for “Ankh”
Chalmers starts

Chalmers: SKIN-NER!  I want you to teach at the new Egyptian school.
Skinner: New?! But it’s thousands of years old.
Chalmers: In that case, you’re extremely late.  I have to dock you thousands of years of pay.  You understand, I’m sure.
Make Skinner Teach at Tuts ‘n’ Tots Elementary- 6hrs, Earns $225, 55xp
Skinner: These papyri are all First Dynasty.  Some things never change.

And that’s all there is to it….

Here are the quick details:

Size: 5×13
Build Time: 4hrs
Tachyons When Built: 730  (Remember you have to PLACE and BUILD it in your Springfield to get the Tachyon credit.  You won’t get credit if you store it in your Inventory and never place it…after the Tachyons are paid out you can store it without consequence)
Earns: $150, 13xp/8hrs
Conform-O-Meter:
Obedience +10
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass/pavement/beach/boardwalk/dirt/pier
Animation: Animated when in use…

And there you have it, the details behind the Tuts ‘n’ Tots, the third Egyptian Prize!

What’s Next?

Orb of Isis- Awarded at 43,000.  This will be the next prize we break down in the prize guide post.

What are your thoughts on the school? Safe to assume you’ve unlocked it by now?  Where have you placed it in your Springfield?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I meant braziers. I think that’s right. Lol listen it’s 5:13 am , and I still haven’t gotten any sleep. So forgive my errors. Have a great day everyone.😀

  2. I placed it in my Egyptian area, but I am still fiddling around with that. Once the event is done, I am going to move it to the international section of my town, next to my French quarter, Japanese and Brazilian towns. The waterslide and jungle stuff will go into the Brazilian section, somehow I always picture Brazil with a lot of lush vegetation. Rainforests and Favelas…

  3. The trick with the ruins and Fraziers still works.

  4. Tuts ‘n’ Tots Elementary – at least we get a 6 Hours Task for Principal Skinner (I hope EA will offer Tasks for the Springfield Kids – that’s kind of a no brainer) with a Building that offers XP and $!

I chose not to purchase the Pharaoh Skin for Principal Skinner, does this Premium have a Task at Tuts and Tots Elementary?

  5. I like it, fits good in the Egyptian Area in my Town. I don’t give much about Tasks at Buildings or animated Tasks … but Taskmaster Willie being a Skin was a downer for me 😑

  6. I wish EA would’ve picked a scaling size and stuck to it. It’s hard putting new buildings in sometimes, because they’re out of scale with other buildings you might want to put them near. This school is another example of that. However, it does look nice with the matching playground! 🙂

  7. Do any characters have any permanent tasks at this school after the quest with Skinner? It is nice to see new schools but another Elementary School.

  8. taskmaster willie or whatever he’s called has a task to make kids go to school and they go to Springfield elementary instead of the Egyptian school. Why?

  9. So the last prize is a skin for Willie and not even a premium one at that second big disappointment with this event sigh

    • Why would you expect it to be premium? We never get premium anything from the end of a prize track. The good part is that it gives actual lines for him instead of grunts when you tap him.

    • His task “cracking the whip” is fun, tho….

  10. I looked several times after Skinner finished his task, I couldn’t find his task anymore. I am afraid his task is (once again) not permanent, but maybe I am wrong.

I’ll never understand the logic behind the one-off tasks, that leave the buildings unable to be animated (expept for Wise Guy). Homer has 846 odd tasks available, so it’s not like it would be very hard to keep such a task around.

    • It’s even worse when the one off task is animated. I still have in mind one of the valentines task where milhouse was running after lisa, or the task where Homer have to blow up the Springfield heighs tunnel, or the one where homer have a heart attack (making you earn his grave at the time).

    • Pharaoh Skinner has an 8 hour task there, but that doesn’t do freemium players much good.
