Just a reminder that the Egyptian Era of the Time Travel Event Ends TOMORROW June 23rd at 0800 GMT (4am ET).
Once the Egyptian Era is over you will no longer be able to earn Egyptian Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember keep earning papyri you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when the next Era starts…)
Crafting will STILL be available in the next Era. As will the Specimen you’ve accumulated.

Be ready for the Pirate Era to start bright and early at 0800 GMT (4am ET) tomorrow morning (June 23rd)….but make sure to grab those items before the Egyptian Era is history
P.S Good tips before next Era starts…save Daily Challenges that earn you event, save shovels & save your neighbor visits if you’ve earned all of the Egyptian prizes, so you can get a jump start when the next Era starts.
Don’t know why so many people seem to be having a hard time completing the acts. I have finished both acts thus far with almost 6 days to spare on each act ! Log in at least 4 times a day, do your daily challenges and visit your friends daily, should have no problems I would think. Hopefully it’ll get better for those struggling ! Best wishes !
i finished Egypt era a few days ago and even got the camel and the first four pirate items.
been trying to save up cash for Springfield Dam. When are you going to write up about that and the other items in the Road to Riches saga?
Welp, squeaked by with 2.5 hours to go. Had to bust into the shovels I was saving for Act 3, but only needed a handful to reach Task Master Willie.
This act I tried to be a lot more diligent with logins than I was in the last act. The only thing I skipped out on was maybe 1 or 2 days of friend visits. Checked in 3-4 times a day, used digging strategy to have a 1:10 ratio of gems found to shovels used (max) and cleared my town of all Egyptians every time I checked in.

Def a challenging event. I usually get 3-4 rounds of bonuts. Now lucky to get maybe one. I enjoy the challenge. It’s def a change. Not as easy to skate through the event. Not saying the prizes are all great. Or even the premium offerings are fair. I really wanted pharaoh skinner but refuse to pay 150 donuts for a skin and a building. I’ve been playing since almost the beginning. Never spent a $1 on donuts. But always had fun playing tapped out. At times it was frustrating. But still took it with a grain of salt. In the end it’s jus a game. It’s supped to be fun. Challenging. Frustrating. Irritating. But still have fun. That’s what it’s supposed to do …. keep calm and tap on 😊
Outrageous, not getting final prize again. Why would they mess with thier game like this?
With 9hrs to go I’m about 17,000 off the pyrimid, I’ve got no chance. Didn’t get moe’s cave either was about 7000 off that, dont know what more I could of done checking in every 3-4hrs! Finding this event too difficult within the allotted time, usually I’d be collecting bonuts by now! 😣
Just wondering why you can’t check in every four hours for five minutes. Wake up, lunch. dinner, before bed.
Managed to complete both acts 1 and 2 with less than 12 hours to spare. This is the first time I can remember that I haven’t been able to win any Bonuts in an event, and as a freemium player I need every Bonut going to keep up my 5-a-day average. Here’s hoping that act 3 is a little bit easier to complete.
As a freemium player, I usually manage to finish each act and get bonuts. I play numerous times per day, but didn’t finish the first act and had to buy the baby t-rex! I am nowhere near finishing the second act! Don’t know what’s gone wrong this time!
