Time Travel Toaster Prize Guide: Pirate Era, Prize 3 Pirate Fire Pit

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Hang onto your toasters my friends because we’re going flying through space and time!  The latest event in TSTO has us going wayyy back in time to when Dinosaurs roamed the earth, Pharaohs were building pyramids & Pirates hobbled around on their peg legs!

This Event is broken up into 3 Eras, with each Era containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the third (and final) Era, Pirate, you’re tasked with collecting Eye Patches () to unlock each prize!

The Third Pirate Era Prize awarded at 31,100 is the Pirate Fire Pit, because it’s not a Pirate Party until you’ve got Ralphie roasting on an Open fire…

So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 31,100 you’ll automatically be awarded the pit and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place the pit in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later.  Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it (and you won’t get Tachyon credit until you’ve placed it)

It does come with a little questline when placed…

Big Boy Buccaneer
Dolph starts

Dolph: Why are you following me around, lamewad?
Ralph: Do you want to play pirates with me?
Dolph: Look, kid, I’m a teenager. Sometimes.  It’s actually confusing how old I am.  But I’m definitely too old to play pirates.
Ralph: Do you want to play pirates with me?
Dolph: *sighs* Kid, you brought this upon yourself.
Make Ralph Play Pirates- 1hr, Earns $140, 34xp (requires Dolph)
Wiggum: Ralphie! What are you doing up there?
Ralph: I’m rotisserating!

And that’s it on this one!

And here are the quick details:

Size: 2×2
Tachyons When Placed: 486  (Remember you have to PLACE it in your Springfield to get the Tachyon credit.  You won’t get credit if you store it in your Inventory and never place it…after placed and Tachyons are paid out you can store it without consequence)
Earns: Nada for now.  Just a decoration..but who knows.  I’m sure one day EA will bring it back as a premium item and throw a bonus % on it…
Task: Ralph (and Dolph) have a permanent 1hr task there to play Pirates (earns $140, 34xp)
Conform-O-Meter:
Vanity +100
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass/dirt/beach
Animation: Animated when in use, hilariously I might add….

And there you have it, the details behind the Pirate Fire Put, the third Pirate Prize!

What’s Next?

Wisecracking Parrot- Awarded at 43,700.  This will be the next prize we break down in the prize guide post.

What are your thoughts on the Fire Put? Safe to assume you’ve unlocked it by now?  Where have you placed it in your Springfield? Thoughts on the task there?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Pirate Fire Pit

I was expecting this Decor to be lame – but the Ralphie / Dolph Task is hilarious (I leave it active all day)! This is a welcome relief from all of the darn NPC’s (and – yep – the Parrot is an NPC!) from this Event; as well as Decor that isn’t interactive (what gives, EA? getting chintzy in 2017!)

  2. The amount of eye patches you need to try for bonuts has gone up to 9150. If their trying to discourage going for bonuts, it worked for me.

1 hr tasks times will definitely be rotisserie Ralphie for me 😂😂 Great animation!!!

  4. Wow!!! I love it. Ralph has a new favourite task now. No more pretending to be a Dalmatian at the firehouse – he’ll be rotisserizing permanently 🙂

  5. Omg that task…omg…

    ‘I’m rotisserizing!’

  6. I know I’m weird, but I’m annoyed by this tiny questline. I have Ralph right where I want him, which is playing wiggle puppy in his back yard. It’s not easy to get him there, so I don’t like sending him on a different task. 😞

  7. I love that task! I do wish they had released at least one pirate themed building/fort. My pirate area looks a bit barren compared to the previous acts.

  8. This is my favorite. My mom saw it and said “That’s sick”. Now Ralphie won’t somersaulting around town as much with this new job.

  9. The awesome out door task with Ralph’s makes this is the best prize of the whole event

  10. I love the task

  11. Love this…too bad it only allows for two freemium incomes for that great task…it’s hard to give up Ralph’s premium skin. But this could be fun as an occasional thing (like when I have to send all my characters on 1-hour tasks manually because of a stupid “…all Springfilders…” 4-hour questline task that comes up too close to the end of the day).

I rEAlly wish they would fix this, it is too time consuming to send 230+ characters one by one, even when you can just send them all on the task.

  12. Glad this prize had a task associated with it or it would have been seriously underwhelming…

  13. This is a great one!
