Today is America’s Birthday! Being that the Addicts crew are all located in the US we’re taking the day to spend time with our families and friends to celebrate the day America announced it’s Independence. So we really won’t be around much today, as we’re taking a much needed day to recover, relax and celebrate with our families!

Happy Independence Day! I love the 4th of July! One of my favorite holidays! It’s an odd one for me, the first year my girl is with her friends instead of me. I went to the parade and where we’ve gone every year for the last 16 years but I didn’t know anyone there because they sold the house. It was a nice day though and I did see a lot of people I know in other places. Now my husband is putting steaks on the grill and I’ll probably sit outside for a bit after dark and watch my neighbors blow stuff up!

During Independence Day, when I see the celebrations of Americans on tv, the victory theme song of ID4 will play in my mind. I wish that Independence Day Resurgence 2016 did not happen. It is the worst movie of the year for me.

We got to see a very nice fireworks display a few towns over. The little niece still hides in the truck for the fireworks, she started ok for a bit outside with us but then the noise was to much. She did better then last year so maybe next year she might make it through without sitting in a vehicle. 😉

Taking the grandkids to 4th of July event & fireworks 💥 Then staying at their house to watch the kids tonight so the 120 lb rottie doesn’t freak & break the sliding glass door in, while their 7 lb pom calmly sits there perched on the back of the couch & watches calmly 😂😂😂 Would have liked to have slept at home in my own bed, hope my back is forgiving tomorrow 😂 PT is going well, but kicking my butt 😃 For those celebrating, have a safe and enjoyable night 😁
