As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Now that the Time Travel event has ended, I thought it would be a good time for another Springfield Showoff! This time featuring your Time Traveling inspired designs,as it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? I usually don’t go for super fancy ‘event areas’ so, I mostly try to integrate new elements with the already existing city planning. Here’s what I did with my ‘excavation area’ and the new Museum next to the Airport at the city limit. Some of my neighbors may be familiar with this area of my town. Hope you enjoy it! 😉

I feel so stupid lol but I can’t get my pirate bridge to span over the ocean between two boardwalks! Am I missing a simple trick or something? 🙈🙈
don’t feel stupid, it’s actually a glitch of sorts that allows you to do it…. you need to place the bridge on squidport tiles first, THEN remove the tile beneath it to expose the ocean below.

Thank you very much Mirko and Ebron!!! Mirko I’d like to see your town and Ebron I always enjoy visiting your town and seeing your designs, you have a talent of concocting awesome designs while only using a small amount of space. Which is something I hope to improve on.
Loved everyone’s designs! There are some truly creative and talented tappers in our midst. A few that stood out to me:
Daf D – I really like how you made all of the items fit into one cohesive museum design. Great job!
Juan – legit LOL’ed when I saw your design. And the more I look at it, the rock formations look like arms and legs. Does the lake mean her water broke? 🙃
Oliver – The giant mushrooms look perfect with the prehistoric stuff! Great idea!
Taylor – I like the symmetry of your design 🙂
The showoffs are one of my favorite parts of playing this game and of being a part of the community on this site. I love seeing items in other towns and having an Ah-ha! moment when someone uses something in a way I wouldn’t have thought of. 😄

Your 3d work with the cave walls is exceptional…makes me think of the mayan designs that can only be seen properly from the air…landing pads for visitors?

Oh yeah the Nazca Lines! That’s a fun idea. I was going for extra pyramids with the cave walls as it was hard to justify carving out a whole space for “Egypt” with only one pyramid and a sphinx 🙃

Thanks, I just created a Trans Carl because I’m from Madrid and last week we celebrated the World pride, It’s also a tribute to Goya’s paint “La maja” and I dedicated it to Patrick if it could change his mind about cave curvaceous.
I couldn’t imagine next event was about pride. We had a great Fiesta, cheer and respectful, next year it’s the turn of Ney York city.
Where was my showoff. I am quiet upset about that because I spend a hour on it 😟

I missed out on crafting the Mermaid Zoo and I was hoping to stretch the event out a bit longer to get the extra crafting currency but I needed another 7000 so decide to update and I hope that it can return for donuts.
