Should I Spend Donuts on Hairy Shearers and Julio?

Apparently the recent Time Travel Event has caused EA to lose their calendars because a Pride Update has hit our games..a month late. Naturally with all event, mini or not, our stores are stacked with premium items tempting us to spend those sprinkles! 

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Hairy Shearers and Julio to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this combo…

Character: Julio
Building/Decoration: Hairy Shearers
Donut Cost: 155 Donuts
Earns: $135, 15xp/4hrs
Size: 4×6
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +20
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass|pavement|boardwalk|pier|dirt|beach

Pros
-Voiced
-Julio will use Hairy Shearers, and Hairy Shearers is animated when in use (door opens and broom sweeps hair out)
-Popularly requested character
-Helps earn more pride badges (Julio task)

Cons
-Very Pricey

Final Thought
Premium:
I like this combo.  It’s on the pricey side, but we’ve seen way worse for way less.  If you have the donuts pick this one up.  Especially since he’s voiced.

Freemium:
Of all of the premium items for this mini event this is the one I’d pick up. Premium character with a building and he’s voiced.  Plus he helps with the event.  While the price is a bit on the steep side this one still gets my freemium stamp of approval.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’ll be picking him up.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games for good (or for now).
