Apparently the recent Time Travel Event has caused EA to lose their calendars because a Pride Update has hit our games..a month late. Naturally with all event, mini or not, our stores are stacked with premium items tempting us to spend those sprinkles!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Pros

-Premium 3hr task remains after quest for Lenny and Carl. (also a task for Julio if you have him)
Cons
-A bit pricey for a stand alone building, not out of the ordinary but still on the higher price.
Final Thought
Premium:
Meh. It’s a building. It’s nice that tasks for Carl and Lenny remain. So if you like it get it, otherwise pass and save your donuts for character combos.
Freemium:
Pass. It’s pricey for a stand alone. Save your donuts for character combos. Plus, you won’t need it for the pride badges..they’re so easy to earn on their own you won’t need this. So Freemium players I’d pass.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’m still on the fence. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

This event isn’t hard to complete in 4 Days – unless you’re not tapping and require the extra Event Currency (Character Tasks are the deal maker)!👍
It helps for the event, but the event is really easy !
Just finished placing the balloons next to all my new party places on Squidport, and just had to have a party boat next to the action. 🍹🎉🍹🎉. Moved the Duff Party Boat over, but it really doesn’t fit the vibe that well. What we really need is a Party Catamaran like they have at all the vacation spots🕶🏖…with rainbow sails so it will compliment all the Pride decor!⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
I got this and the cuban building a little while ago. The extra currency will help with the last prize.
All the Pride marches and stuff have only just happened here, I know it’s a mainly US game but maybe they decided to tie the event to somewhere else… I don’t know, do Pride marches normally take place at the same time everywhere globally?
I dunno, I just know Pride month here was June.

Pride Month is held in June in the US but at other times elsewhere around the globe (I believe it is currently Pride in the UK). There are even Pride Days celebrated outside of June in the US in certain cities.
Since the She-She lounge has two female symbols and this one has two male symbols, the symmetry freak in me had to get this one! 😀

It filled the last spot in my party section on Squidport, right next to One Night Stans…have put a trail of ballons from the Simpson house all the way leading out to them both.
I love the new Smither’s skin, such a better personification of him. I never liked the task with him dancing…with the chaps and the whip…not really how I ever saw Smithers. From now on, he will always be skating for groceries or doing “skate yoga”😁.
Crack that Whip……a licorice Whip. The first time I saw that I couldn’t stop laughing.
he’s busy skating to his heart’s content right now, but eventually he’ll be back to partying in the she-she lounge like the rest of the self respecting adults… 😀

Not a terrible price for a standalone building I thought. Bought it to bulk out my pride area.
I didn’t think it was a bad price either, it looks pretty good near Moe’s and Hairy Shearers 😛

Yup – that’s where I put mine, too. I had thought that P.F. Wang’s would look good there, too, for the same reason (the side by side contrasting gender symbols), but we got this building and didn’t get the other one, so… Now, if later we did get it, not sure where I’ll put it! (My town isn’t as….fluid?….as yours. Once I’m satisfied with a particular area, I rarely make any wholesale changes.)

😱 Don’t do it! I’ve seen way more comments from people regretting that decision than being glad they did that. Once you have more land to work with, it should probably be easier to just make changes to a section at a time, since you’ll have somewhere to move stuff to temporarily while you’re working on a particular area.
Good luck and Godspeed! Last time I nuked was in October 2016. Took a solid 6-8 weeks to get my town back up and running. It’s doable — if you’ve got the patience for a long-term project. The hardest part is how long it takes to search through inventory to find certain items. Nuking & rebuilding would be much easier with a “search inventory” function! 😊
Same here. Got all 3, She She Lounge, One night Stan’s and League all in the same block. And for those not into that scene, Stu’s Disco is right across the street.
