  1. Grady and Apartment Village

Grady has some funny Tasks (a shame he’s not voiced – but I don’t expect that from EA anymore)

Apartment Village is a welcomed addition to the Pride section in my Springfield (would be nice if EA would add some amusing Tasks for Springfield Characters)

An Animated Task as a Prize, EA? Wow! That’s a new low (aka not a tapping motivator) …

    • Oh, this definitely isnt the first time we’ve received a character’s/costume’s animated task as an item in the prize track…iirc, in Homer the Heretic (back in the beginning of the year), we earned TWO animated tasks for Homer’s new costume via the prize track/questline! I cant remember if Homer’s costume itself was also obtained via the prize track…

It’s definitely the new normal for these mini events! *sigh* Then again, these ARE ‘mini events’, so…*shrug*

    Question?
Is Smithers a gay in real life or just the game.
I thought he was just an overt devoted kiss a-word to Mr. Burn?
I haven’t seen every episode so go easy on me❤️

      • Just wanted to say ‘thanks’ for all the videos…they are a nice little break in my day👍😁.

    • The game goes way too overboard on that. I haven’t seen many recent episodes, but when I was watching regularly I didn’t think of Smithers as “gay” even though I could see they were implying it. He was a character with many attributes that had nothing to do with what gender he wanted to date. He must have started dating after I stopped watching regularly… unless he remained obsessed with Mr. Burns (Smithers deserved much better).

Real people who are gay aren’t stereotypical as in the game unless they are entertainers and that’s their job…. Or they’ve been overly influenced by tv, movies, and video games! And matching any part of the stereotype really doesn’t mean a person is gay. It’s all pretty ridiculous.

      • While I agree Smithers is far more out in the game than he was for a majority of the actual show I think it’s crazy that people didn’t think he was gay. It was obvious for very early on.

  3. In case anyone wants a tiny bit more info, the building dissent just light up when animated…a hand reaches out of an upper-floor window and waters the flower box there! I like that little touch better than just getting yet another light up building or lit up building with silhouettes moving inside.

  4. I find it slightly amusing that this event has triggered a bunch of gay themed ads in my pop ups. It took me a few minutes to try and figure out why I was getting ads for gay air bnbs. ;P

    • Patric’s “Addicts” blog on Friday had ads for Addiction Treatment Centers all along the sides…pretty funny😂😂😂.

  5. I made an entire Gaybourhood!

    • Every time I get 5 donuts together, I keep buying rainbow billboards to scatter all through my town …. Since I have a small Kwik-E-Mart garden and have been boosting bonus percents every chance I get (the billboards also bring in a decent bonus per donut), that’s a lot of rainbows. I know the mystery boxes bring in more bonus per donut, but I just like those rainbow billboards. Hope they bring them back next year.

  6. Looks like springfield has a small biker community now. Think that’s 4 characters with one. 😛

  7. Grady is going to join the list of characters stuck doing a specific task. He’ll be riding that moped for a long time.
