  1. I have one classic mansion placed in my Springfield currently and 2 in storage. I had upgraded all 3 mansions to level 5 and then started remodeling. I placed them all in my storage. Now when I place them they all have Level 1, but I have all the annex’s in my storage. Is this a glitch? I even leveled one up to level 2 right now, and when I clicked on it again it still said it was level 1! Do I need to place the annex/s for it to recognize the upgrade?

  2. With the recent introduction of crosswalks that are able to be placed directly on streets, can we see some more road infrastructure, notably traffic signals that hang across the streets?

    • Or cars that can be placed on roads.

Right now the cars just say “Roads?! Where we’re going We don’t need Roads!!!”

  3. I’m really enjoying these mini events. Much more than the 3 Act ones. At least you can remember the storyline😊

  4. Just putting this out there. .. in the hope EA see it.
Please, please, please can we have Stonecutters, mini event or whatever, I have a few skins but I had only just started playing the game when it was originally released.
Seems a waste not using them because of all the content I missed.
    OK, I’m done. 😉

    • Agreed! The last time the released Stonecutters stuff, I couldn’t afford to get some of the premium skins. I want them all now, and the little alien guy, so they can sing around the table (and so that I’ll have premium skins for a couple of characters that don’t currently have them and an alternative for Arnie’s helicopter, when it’s bugging me).

    • Yes, it’s about time! My poor Dr. Hibbert keeps having to be a Sandwich Zombie to earn at premium rate!

    • Stonecutters. Yes! I have about 6-7 but would love to have more, Lenny / Carl / Hibbert / Otto / Brockman !

      • Otto has a Stonecutter alter ego? Cool… 😎…he’s one of my favorites (I wonder why😜🌿💨). I was just thinking that he deserved a couple interesting skins…seems he’s always overlooked in the events and I would love to see a couple new tasks for him.

    • I concur. I started in the middle of Stonecutters and would like some sort of reprise.

Random question for open thread: Is the hollow snake trunk unique?

  6. I recently “discovered” a Homer the Barbarian statue in the excavation site from the time travel event. Now, not only is the statue no where to be found in my town, it is also not in my inventory. Any ideas? Has this been mentioned already (if so, sorry!)?

    • It is possible to be awarded the Homer Barbarian Statue via the excavation site. However, there is currently a glitch that the excavation site shows it’s awarding a second Homer Barbarian Statue, even though it’s a unique item.

My guess, you were awarded the Homer Barbarian Statue but already have one. If you have it, you fell prey to the glitch and won’t find it in your inventory. However, if you don’t have it, check your inventory for decorations.

      • Thanks, Safi, I already have the Homer Barbarian Statue so that explains why it wasn’t in my inventory when I was awarded one at the excavation site.

    • Me too

  7. Somehow I think this is a question for Safi, because as I recall he’s good with math. My multiplier is currently 447.10 (not factoring in any hidden SH points, because that’s math and I`m not good at it). It takes me roughly 16 KEMs to get a bonut box. I want to know what my multiplier would need to be to get bonuts after about 10 KEMs. Can you help me, Safi?

    • 1M xp / 16.0 KEMs = 62500 xp yield per KEM. Divide by the 2000 xp base amount for KEMs, and we get your current total multiplier of 31.25. Divide by 5 to take out the XP Collider, and we have 6.25, or 625% total. Minus the base 100% and your 447.10% visible bonus, and we have 77.9% left as your current Springfield Heights bonus.

So then what should your visible bonus be to let you get 10 KEMs per bonut round, or 100k xp per KEM? 100k xp divided by the base 2000xp means the total multiplier must be 50; divide by 5 to take out the collider, and we have 10, or 1000%. Subtract off the base 100% and your SH 77.9%, and we have your target: 822.1%

822.1% minus 447.1% gives you 375% that you need to add. If you assume you can buy Mystery Boxes and get 1% boost for exactly 8 donuts (I haven’t confirmed the exact average yield of the Mystery Boxes), that means you’ll need to spend 375×8 = 3000 donuts to reach this milestone.

Note that there’s actually an easier trick that we could have used to find that 375% number — it turns out that every 1% boost you add gives you exactly 100 more xp for a KEM build, if you have the XP collider active (1% of 2000×5 is 100). So you could take your target xp yield per KEM of 100000 and subtract off the current yield of 62500, and you get 37500 more xp you need per KEM. Then lop off the last 2 zeros to divide by 100, and you have the % you need to add: 375%.

By the way, once you pass 72000 xp per KEM (so that should be at 447%
+ (72000-62500)/100 = 542% visible bonus), it’ll start being cheaper to adjust your “tapping style” during bonut rounds. I’m assuming you’re currently doing what I call “Must get 3”, where you keep tapping and paying the $50k to make sure you get 3 donuts per bonut round. That’s the most efficient, in terms of money spent per donut, at your percentage level. But once you pass 542%, you should switch to “Accept 2”, where you don’t tap again if it shows 2 donuts (that is, only tap again if you got 1 donut on the first try). That will save you quite a bit of money, which you can then invest into building more KEMs per harvest, and you’ll wind up with more donuts (on average) for the same money spent. It’s tricky to know exactly *how* many more KEMs you can add (I wrote a computer program to help me figure that out), but you should be able to “feel it out” by just slowly adding more KEMs per harvest until your money balance starts slipping.

      Good luck!

Overall summary of KEM farming i wrote earlier: https://tstoaddicts.com/2017/06/01/ttt-prehistoric-era-how-to-excavation-site/comment-page-3/#comment-572605

Original KEM farming post (which you’ve probably already read, but including for completeness): https://tstoaddicts.com/2016/09/28/from-the-mouths-of-addicts-kwik-e-mart-farming-for-free-donuts

      • Thanks dcm. I do have the collider running 24/7. And yes, I’m doing “must get 3” most of the time, occasionally settling for 2. Unfortunately your math skills have sent my head spinning, but I get the gist of what you are saying. I’m going to re-read the posts you’ve linked, and keep building my bonus %. I have added quite a lot to it with Mystery Boxes of late, and I have a fair amount of in game cash (190 mil.) I build and sell enough KEMs for about 10 rounds a bonuts at a time. I’m certainly not donut poor, I’m more curious if there’s a magic number. What I glean from your answer is that there’s too many variables involved to pinpoint that number. I think it must be 822, but I’m unsure if thats with or without the collider.
Once again thanks for your answer, and your clear love (and understanding) of math and numbers makes me smile. And a little awestruck, too.

        • 822 is with the collider on.

        • In another thread I placed the link to a spreadsheet in Google Docs. Just open it and copy it. Then with the copy you play with the current XP earned and the number of KEMs to farm.

          https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sAgiLBMhCdzW-_dThgoghslJOwFCE8mGKAp0oP3Dhvs/edit#gid=0

        • Aw, shucks; thanks. 🙂

Can’t say I *love* math exactly; more like it’s a means to an end that I am able to deal with. 🙂

Anyways, yes, the actual answer to your question is that when you see about 822% shown on your conform-o-meter (and yes have the collider on), you will be getting a bonut round with every 10 KEMs. You could actually reach it as early as around 750% if you build out your Springfield Heights the rest of the way.

But yeah, there’s no “magic number” really; it’s a matter of raising the % up enough that you can feel comfortable that you can afford all the premium items that you want. I guess that’s a little easier since they introduced the Vault, making less premium content available at any given time. I picked an arbitrary target of 1500-2000% for myself; when I started farming about a year ago. I stopped buying Mystery Boxes as soon as I got past 2000%, but it’s still rising because I’m getting caught up on all the premium content (now at 2156.53%). 🙂 I’m now basking in my new ability to not have to deny myself any of the premium content anymore, and can even throw donuts at speeding up a job once in a while.

Plus I can pursue my “master plan,” to save up a huge load of donuts so I can blow them all on Wailing Walls come Halloween (assuming they’re available!). You see, Mr. Burns has an evil scheme to harness the power of tormented spirits to generate limitless donuts! I’ll arrange the wailing walls all around the power plant and xp collider, next to the KEM farm site, and it’ll actually sort of make sense! 🙂 Plus I’ll be able to put away the bulkier % boosters like the 1000 or so flags I got in the Around the World event. 🙂

  8. Testing, last post I went to do crashed my browser….

  9. Hey everyone, as of late I’ve noticed an issue with the Excavation Site mini-game within our game. Quite a few times now I’ve dug and come up with Barbarian Homer statue as a prize. Right away it would say, this prize is in my inventory, not give me a chance to place it. I go to my inventory, check the base inventory which should in fact show everything, and he’s not there. Can someone shed some light on this, or is anyone experiencing the same?

  10. After the back in time update, we got the digging site, now if you use that now you’ll get some random items, like broken dishwasher and items from the clash of clans update, like walls and towers, I’ve dug up the barbarian statue a few time shut it’s no where to been seen in my storage, anyone had the same. Is it because you can only have 1?

  11. I am not yet 40 but clearly have Alzheimer’s.

Can someone please remind me of the deets regarding the most recent “invest endless money into a slowly upgrading building” task? Similar to Burns’ Money Mountain.

It was only about a month ago. I completed the first round but couldn’t afford more back then. A hazy memory suggest it was one of the Sideshows and another crim, but I just can’t find it in my bombsite of a city.

    Thanks!

    • Road to Riches:
The way the Road to Riches items are earned are via tasks for Cecil Terwilliger. These tasks cost significant amounts of in game cash and they’re how you’ll earn the road to riches items. This works in a similar way to Money Mountain. Spend money to unlock the prizes. In this case you SPEND the money to send Cecil on the tasks to unlock the prizes.
The prizes are not going anywhere. You’re not forced to do it. But should you chose to you can.

  12. Anyone playing Futurama Worlds of Tomorrow: If you’re down to the wire unlocking George Takei due to lack of phasers; If you rush Fry’s task for 2 pizza slices you will be given the opportunity to try again for 8 slices each try. I needed three but spent 34 slices to get them. It’s much better than 24 slices each. Glad to have Sulu on the crew.

  13. I got what appeared to be a skin for homer through the excavation area, and it said it would be in my inventory; it’s not. I checked all sub-groups and the main inventory.

    Homer’s on a task but I don’t think it auto-unlocked for him.

    • You shouldn’t receive a skin for Homer via the excavation site. It is possible to be awarded the Homer Barbarian Statue. However, there is currently a glitch that the excavation site shows it’s awarding a second Homer Barbarian Statue, even though it’s a unique item.

My guess, you were awarded the Homer Barbarian Statue. If you have it, you fell prey to the glitch and won’t find it in your inventory. However, if you don’t have it, check your inventory for decorations.
