Showoff Announcement: Reader’s Choice

First I want to add a little note…I know a bunch of you are waiting on SIB posts for the new content.  I’m working on them.  My plans for today got a little derailed as the Tiny Addict is currently under the weather and I had to pick her up from school early.  So you won’t be seeing the SIBs today, but I will make it up to you tomorrow. Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers!  We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and I thought with a little lull in the game let’s have a little Showoff fun.  This time around it’s READER’S CHOICE!   So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

The next showoff will feature whichever areas of your Springfield that you want to show!  (again remember limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole down, unless you want to do a giant stitch of your town into 1 photo)  Sure we could do another Superheroes Showoff, but we’ve already done that….twice (here and here, if you’re looking for inspiration)! So I thought this would be more fun.

So use this downtime to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be!  Send in your Reader’s Choice areas from your Springfield and we’ll be putting up the Showoff Post featuring your designs on Monday July 31st.

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Sunday July 30th (giving you loads of time to get your areas together) can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.  We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.

IF you Email your submissions please put Showoff Reader’s Choice in the subject line, and make sure your photos are in JPEG or PNG format..please.  Also, be sure your submissions are in on time.

Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots.  We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images.  Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too).  We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two.  If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week.  You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page.  We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme.  Remember, this isn’t a contest.  There’s nothing to win.  It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts.  🙂

    I will be posting screenshots shortly, but I have a question: Is there any way to zoom out just a bit rather than the current limit? I’m using an iPhone 7 Plus and still can only capture a couple buildings in one screenshot. Do iPads allow one to see more at once? Thanks!

      The zoom out is not great regardless of what device you choose. Most screenshots do require some stitches.

    Oh you have to be kidding me
    I blew up my town to start farming donuts 3 days ago
    Any tips?
    I have 227% bonus
    Xp collider on for 10 days
    KEM farming yields 5 donuts every 4 hs
    I don’t know if i should save my 167 donuts for motorbikes (if they decide to appear on my vault…wich is not going to be easy considering i have a lot of premium items to buy)
    Or just buy mystery boxes to increase the bonus a little bit
    Also should i buy premium decorations from the vault if they appear. Or are the boxes still better?
    Also i need more money since i can only build 43 KEM every 12 hs. I still need to chek how many i can build every 4 hs. Since i just started yesterday

    some recent areas i designed into my town… had been sitting on the pagan stuff since xmas, so i combined it with the prehistoric stuff from the time travel event. also in the stitch is my completed film studio, and the start of my latest cultural/arts/entertainment district, which will continue to expand adjacent to the bowling alley to include stuff from the pride event (still incomplete).

    great showoff idea alissa! like you said, family always comes first. never feel like you gotta apologize for that. besides, it’s not like you guys haven’t been churning out content as it is…

    here’s something i already had stitched together. missed the secret agent/cypress creek showoff, so here is my Brasiltown, Globex Compound, and Cypress Creek area.

    I bought Señor ding dong. Good 4.00 bonus plus building. Quests are funny and lots of them. Mostly involving Springfield’s housewives.. and doorbell repair..lol. best buy in a while imo.

    I am hoping that someone will show off their road to riches designs. I’m about 3/4 of the way to the gardens (I was set back after I nuked my town).

      Oh, me too! I have the Mansion Gardens strewn about in Springfield Heights and don’t have a clue what to do with it. Rock and a Hard Place is plopped near my western area. It’s the Beach Hideaway all over again for me–I’m just not creative enough for all the pieces.

      I hope Riley feels better soon!

    😱 I swear I thought about this some days ago. Now I intend to do a mega photo of my town, hope I can make it on time. Wish me luck! Besides, I really want to see your designs. It’s gonna be an amazing showoff.

    I can’t wait for this, i recently redesigned my town, and it is going to be difficult to pick an area to show off since it’s not too specific. And i really hope Tiny Addict gets better soon!! 🙂

    First of, please don’t apologise about not getting SIBs out because you’re not getting paid for this so with a full time job and a Family, blog comes last and the respectful of us here won’t be bothered about it 😊 – Get well soon Riley!
    Second, CAN’T wait for this! Nuked my town a few months ago and haven’t recovered yet so some inspiration to steal … I mean, borrow (😉) will be great.
