It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So, this week it was out with the old and in with the..old? Yes, we saw the return of Superheroes this week. Don’t worry though, just a small little update with mostly items to purchase. We suspect the next big thing will hit us in August…what do you think it will be?
How was the rest of your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? Can you believe July is almost over?

I’ve been steadily completing Krustyland in my B Springfield. It’s completely freemium, I bought all the land and all the premium buildings. I just have to purchase the Itchy and Scratchy characters, the Krusty fountain, and the Itchy balloon. Once that’s complete I’ll get all the Squidport performers. I hope we get a Krustyland event someday. I would also like to pick up some of the limited rides like the Twirl-n-Hurl and the Tunnel of Love.
FUTURAMA
I’m enjoying playing Futurama. I like doing quests to get additional costumes and characters. Every weekend they have events to get career points to level up characters more quickly. This weekend you can get Bender’s Bee costume too. I wonder if they’ll add neighbor interaction in the future?
In my store I have the option to buy Radioactive man and Radioactive man statue for 60 donuts. Is this a skin for a current character, a new full character, or an npc? Is it worth the buy? Only 16 hours left and I’m so tempted to get it!

It’s a separate playable character. He’s voiced, flies around Springfield, and I’m pretty sure he pays out Premium. For 60 Donuts you can’t miss, even without the statue.
Assuming you got him by now…..did he come with Kane Manor where he does his 8hr “relax” task ?
I got all that stuff in the original event but I was just curious

I got him! Thanks for the feedback! He does his “relax” task but he just stands by his statue. I love the character though! Definitely worth the donuts!

Hello! I’ve had the Claw for a while (came with the bowling alley update I think?) and the prizes were fairly repetitive… telephone box, ice sculpture, gargoyle, etc…. or nothing!
So I was very happy the other day to get Sir Love-A-Lot (the teddy bear from Trash of the Titans I think), which I hadn’t seen in game before.
I was wondering what other fun and unusual prizes other people have won from the Claw?
I wish I could change my crosswalk colors to Blue Pink White Pink Blue

So I have had to log in multiple times and also it says that i have logged in on a different device which I haven’t. Then I saw that I had lost like 15 donuts. Everyone else having this problem?
I lost the donuts I got for neighbour visits. I noticed that the game kicked me out everytime I got one :/
Try going to Krustyland and back…syncs your game and fixes lots of glitches.
My game just magically “lost” ALL of my neighbors. Gone! Just Other Springfield left & I am at friendship level 20 (I was maxed out). WTF!!?? Any ideas? Neighbors are visiting me, but I have no visible towns when I go the neighbors screen (just Other Springfield)

Happen to me once a few years ago. All came back a few hours later. Try going to Krustyland.
Anyone else having to repeatedly log in lately?
Today has been a real pain…lost the server multiple times…Bart screens keep popping up or I get dumped entirely back to my home screen. I’ve seen a bunch of similar posts today, so they must be having a few problems.
Hi guys! Looking for a thread to talk about why you play this game, and how it affects you in your life. For me, it’s the simplicity of the tasks combined with a fascination for all things Simpson that sucked me in. I have high functioning autism, and TSTO is the perfect way to “tap out” and recharge my batteries no matter where I am. I’d love to talk more about stuff like this, is there a place you can point me to?

There are two threads I can think of. The easiest, and freshest, one is the weekly Open Thread, which is posted every Sunday. That thread is open to almost any type of topic. You can post to this week’s Open Thread, but, if you want maximum participation, you might want to wait until Sunday and post on the next one, when more people are likely to see it.
Another thread that appears from time to time is an Addicts Anonymous one, in which people talk about their addiction to the game. It’s been a little while since we had one of those, but, if you find it and post to it, those of us who have “subscribed” to that post and get emails whenever someone posts to it will see your message. I subscribe to almost every thread I post to, myself, but I don’t know how many folks do that, so you might want to wait until one of the moderators post a new one of those (but the Sunday Open Thread is likely to come sooner).
