As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
We’re gearing up for the next big event, so what better time than now for another Springfield Showoff? This time we decided to forgo a specific theme, instead, I wanted you to show me your favorite design in your Springfield!
It can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time! You guys have some great designs and ideas so let’s take a look:

Although it’s nice to be able to “Showoff” your work to fellow tap-a-maniacs… I think the biggest plus is getting friend requests from people who have put thoughtfulness into their town designs as well!

I wouldn’t say that my town is cluttered or dose not have a flow my pics are richard h. I work hard on my city every day workin my stuff around water is my thing i dont like cluttered or just dumping things about. I like to do themes makein it look nice is part of the game.
Your designs are well balanced and creative…the colors are nicely compatible and you’ve obviously put some time in to make your town attractive. All I can say about the “art critic” below…maybe he’s just having a bad day and we got in the way of his venting…too bad for him. This is such a nice bunch of people and he just alienated them for no good reason.

I’m glad people like their towns and this game, but everytime I see these posts I am just underwhelmed. Towns are so cluttered and don’t have any flow or design to them. Clean up ur town. Make it look good!!

This is kind of a non-judgemental site…we all try to be friendly and supportive…perhaps your comments would be better received at the EA Forum?
Well mine is badly cluttered and clearly unfinished. Its squeezed in at the very top right of the map (now we have more space there i can make it look better) behind my wild west area. But its a prehistoric jungle with a hidden Egyptian area, its supposed to look cluttered lol!
I have much better designs to showoff but now im not sure you deserve to see them. JK anyone who who wants to see my promenade/casino area and much more can send me a friend request 🙂
ps – excuse the ugly KEM farm. Have no need for it currently with my game glitching me free donuts.

Thanks for the show off! Also wanted to use this reply feature to let you all know not to mess with Christmas this year like last year. That was horrible. Otherwise you guys do a fine job entertaining us….thanks
The addicts don’t control the content of the game. Contact EA, the maker of the game. But know that, like the actual show, the writers of the game are an irreverent bunch.

Really good designs! Every one did a great job! 😊 I love how ebron has incorporated the dinosaur lake with the dam, it works really well, and with the rock pieces it also connects with the Gorge, when I eventually get the Dam, I might have to use some of that design 😉
Thanks, but I have to give credit to my neighbor, Michelle Luka, for coming up with the original design…her dam has the dino lake behind and then spills into her Egyptian area. It was such a fun idea, I had to “borrow” 😜 it and tweak it to fit my town. Thanks, Michelle😀
I’ve never been a fan of placing water tiles in my town. Maybe if we could put boats or other decorations it would change some of my design plans. Also that “Covered Bridge” decoration from Halloween that doesn’t allow you to place it over water tiles was a let down. I usually try to place tall buildings along the mountains because I don’t like when some of my buildings are blocked from view. I wish they would tweak the Monorail track pieces, sometimes they tend to get in the way of my buildings. I was ablessed to finally fix up my Springfield Heights area.
I finally removed my monorail… it was such a distraction (and a land hog) and it just got in the way of what I wanted to do. It was fun to build, but having it “just be there” wasn’t that fun. Soooo…into storage…and it gave me back almost 300 pieces to work with (I was at my limit). I haven’t missed it at all…I now have a small Mall-O-Rail loop in my shopping district, but that’s it.🙂
I loved all the designs and gave me some good ideas .

Ebron’s design incorporating the Springfiled Dam and the dinosaur lake is genius! I will definitely have to copy that.

I’m currently going through a stage of making my town look presentable. Today I attempted to finish of the majority of my ‘Springfield Forest’ and began to make the ‘Beach Front’ look presentable but there will most likely be numerous changes in the future.
So Happy to see my 2 are up there thank you. I see lots of great designs from over players great job guys i like players who work hard on there games not just the event side of things 😁
The one with the Plane Golden train, and other things is mine! It has big and small ways to get around town (Helicopter, Manhole Station, Peanut Cart) and things that can move one place to another (Wood-Chipper, Balloons)! 😊😊😊
