Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
65 Donuts is a bargain for most of these items…except Saxophone Lisa…but still 65 donuts is a fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

I got baited & switched. I unlocked the Open Air Stage, which was NOT one of the 5 options I was shown. I thought I had a 20% chance of unlocking Rock Star Maggie. Now who knows how many prizes are possible. This was a very disappointing waste of 65 donuts.

I wanted Rockstar Maggie. I tried three times and got the three junk items that I did NOT want. Ugh. I should have known better. I hate it when they include junk. I’d actually buy donuts if there were only worthwhile items in these.
i Love these boxes and can’t seem to pass up these bargains, usually it;s just one or two items i’d want, but this box has a lot of large building in, and as a mainly freemium player. I don’t have many of them in my town.
I only had enough O’s for two gos, and got Maggie on my first shot! I then got Lisa on my second go. – She was bottom of my want list, as i already have enough costumes for her, but would really like barney blimp for my rock area.!

My question is, does Captain Bob unlock Sideshow Bob? If it doesn’t, How do you unlock or get Sideshow Bob? I really appreciate any help & advice given! Thank you guys sol much! 🙂
I can’t believe they repeated a Gil deal. I’m clearly overpaying. Next time I will wait for a rebate. I bought Maggie at full price specifically because I thought Gil Deals are impulse buys that never get repeated again.
On another note, I’m glad I waited to buy Captain Bob so I can snatch him up on rebate.

Now if gettikng saxophone Lisa was not bad enough, she doesn’t even rock out in her saxophone unicorn. I was at least hoping for that.
Still, all in all, I’m ok with the mystery box since I wanted all the other things I got.
Oh darn. I want Maggie, but I really don’t want any of the other prizes. Ouff, not worth the gamble for me this time around.
rockstar maggie was on the top of my wanted list so i’m very happy to have her. i don’t like anything else in the box though.

I got him. Definitely pricey since he’s only a rocker. I think the sign is very cool.
I like the sign, I like getting 2% bonus XP, and I love the skin…haven’t used Otto on the main stage yet, but he’s on the rotation😊.

I got him. Been waiting for a bargain, but with him being so wanted, they never seem to have him cheap.
Figured with the added sign and skin, and him helping with the event… It was time to bite the bullet and finally get him
Played this to get the Hyperstadium. And of course went through all of the other prizes available (some were fine, others not so much) before I got it.
Overall a good haul in my view.
I had 6 items in my box but only wanted Maggie. Was reluctant to try. I saw that the Rock stage had the option to click on Maggie and “get now”, so I tried that. It sent me to the mystery box, Maggie was first on the list. I bought one and got her on the first try! So happy! I don’t know if it was pure luck (I am usually unlucky with this sort of thing) or if this method really works.
Pretty sure it was pure luck… that’s what I did, too, but I didn’t get her until my second try.
I tried that and got the Arena. Haha
Only things in mine are the skins and the blimp. Wouldn’t mind the blimp, but I don’t want the skins much. Probably won’t gamble on this one.

She is beautiful, I love Siamese cats I have had several through my life. My present one is three and female sealpoint. I have also had Bluepoint and a Liliac point. My Bluepoint lived till she was 19.

They have such interactive personalities, I’ve had a Himalayan and a mixed before…both were super verbal and friendly. This one is no different, she already “talks” when she hears me in another room.😊

I got Maggie, the two skins, and the Clamphitheater and open air stage. The last two I had been waiting for in the vault and, with this, I was able to get them for even more of a discount. Works for me!
Open Air Stage actually complements this event. I have it set near the Rock stage and have Belle (plus backup dancers) performing. Then I put most of the craftable-crowds (btw, favorite part of event) near the stage with the ladies…. facing away from the Rock stage…..
I did the same, except I have Lurleen playing her guitar. Will probably move it when the other stages come available, but for now, it works pretty well.
The open air stage stage does fit well. Currently have a rude crowd booing the Skinner Sisters beside main stage lol
For the last two events, I’ve gotten my first (only) choice from the Mystery box on the first try. ::knocks wood::
Rocker Maggie for 65 Donuts, and I am one happy camper.
Got Duff Center and Captain Bob. Really wanted Maggie, not just for the event but I love her look. Don’t have enough donuts for another go but I’ll probably try again once I do. I probably should have gotten the 2 Sungazer band members instead since I started the event late. But they might not be useful event-wise for the next two sections anyway.
I wanted Rockstar Maggie and ended up getting her on my 5th try. Ouch. Oh well, I like most of the consolation prizes, other than Captain Bob (since the Bob questline seems destined never to appear for me). At least I was able to leave Saxophone Lisa as the last thing in the box.
Make that sixth try, even worse than I remembered.
Darn, I already have all these items! but as you assure us, there are more opportunities to spend donuts…around the corner. RevJRO

I think most of them are. But a couple of weeks ago, was looking for the Open Air Stage and couldn’t find it, so was happy to get get it for less than I was willing to shell out for it!
Aaaaaand I got Saxophone Lisa.
I don’t have any of these and the only one I want is Maggie as she’s a stand alone character and can help with the event. I’m going to pass on this box and just save my donuts to see if the next acts have anything worthwhile or to go all out on the Halloween event.
I went into that box after Maggie, since I couldn’t afford her during the Sci-fi event — and got her on the second try. (The Barney Blimp was first, which I’m not terribly upset about, since it’s the only option in the box with a bonus.)
So that’s good enough for me; not particularly interested in the rest.
