Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
If you do not own Otto, this is totally worth it. Grab it. Great deal. If you own Otto, pass. Run far, far, far away from this one. It’s INSANE to charge the same price for a SKIN and a sign that you do for a character, skin, bus and sign. EA lost their minds on this one. Bottom line: if you don’t own Otto, buy. If you own Otto, PASS.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’ll be passing. I already own Otto, and 120 donuts is not worth it for a skin. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games for good (or for now).

I bought him yesterday since I didn’t have him in my Springfield.
I love Otto. He was one of the first premium characters I bought when I started playing this game a few years back. I was looking forward to his participation in this event, but 120 donuts for what would essentially be just a skin for an already premium character (I can do without the sign), it’s hard to justify. I would had been all in if it was 60 donuts or less. Especially since from what others are saying he will only be of benefit to act 1 of this event. Disappointed. 🙁
As a premium player I would have passed on it,But I am a farmium so I bought the Otto skin. I have put the sign at the entrance of the festival.

I never had Otto with the School Bus, so I spent Bonuts and gladly increased the amount of Cuffs / Tickets obtained hourly (I DO agree as a Character Skin / Decor with %, 150 Donuts is way too high if you already have Otto – c’mon EA!) 🐖💨
i didint have otto , wanted to have him and saw the rock sign with him , so bought it straight away.
i did not know that it would cost the same for the skin alone for those that already had him – that idea sucks ! . if it was 10 -20 donuts for the skin on top of you already have him I could understand but not the same full price !

In my opinion any premium character that relates to this event should be included. If they want to add a premium skin, then let them add one for fun and not to make that character part of the event. I have both Otto and Disco Stu. I was so excited to see Otto join the event and then just as quickly disappointed that to include him I had to buy his skin at such a high price. Now throw me a Steve Tyler character in this event or Rose Axel and I may just spend those doughnuts.
Or Frampton…would pay many sprinklies for him (he was even in the episode…with his cooler!)😃
Strangely, this is the best deal EA has ever offered and the worst deal EA has ever offered.
Remember that rebate including Otto and the greenhouse in the last event? Well, I bought it 🙁 Now I see the visual tasks of rocking Otto and feel completely disappointed.
Best. Spoiler. Ever! I’ve been wanting Disco Stu ever since two yard sakes ago, when I regretted dearly not getting him, but, since then, I’ve been holding out for another discount deal, which has never come. Happy to hear that my wait will finally be over soon!
I am one of the lucky people who didn’t have Otto before, so this was a good deal for me. Once I found out Otto will be offered, I postponed my plan to get BGM.
Glad I passed on the recent greenhouse deal, can really use Otto’s help as I started the event late. Maybe I still have a chance for the final prize.
Too bad the skin-only is being offered at such a high price. Sometimes I just don’t get EA.
Baffled by this by EA. Not only overpriced but clearly for Act 1 only and brought in halfway through!!! I have tons of donuts but REFUSE to buy this on principle. If it was 60 donuts id instabuy.
Guess we will just have to hope to pick this up later in a mystery box.
Tempted by this half price old Gil deal tho, the tailgate party thingy, bad price for 4% but looks cool, il probably hold off unless I see it has great animations (cant remember off to search for the SIB)

Is it just me or has purchases become more expensive? It seems like its easier to get a doughnut here or there and yet purchases are twice as expensive as they should be.
As it looks like EA messed up on the cost of otto’s skin. I am passing for now and hopefully it will return for the black Friday event.
Probably the worst purchase I’ve made in the game. I saw it listed as a bundle, never investigated. When I realized it was just a skin and the sign I was very perturbed.

Correct me if I’m wrong…but during the TTT event, EA offered a discount if you already owned Booberella.
They did…just looked it up: 150 if you didn’t own her, 100 if you did.
Did they just forget to do the same with Otto? I would have picked this up for 50-60 donuts, no way for the same price as the full bundle.
But Boobarella originally cost 100 donuts on her own, so if you had her and wanted the outfit, it would basically cost you double. They’ve done the same thing with Miss Springfield, Crazy Cat Lady, and Barney. Possibly others I’m not remembering. It’s not a fun trend.
