Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Put another dime in a jukebox and grab your dancing shoes, because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield! Yes, the biggest music fest to hit our pocket-sized Springfields since the Singing Stones is live and rocking on our devices! The latest event in TSTO has us feeling the beat as we experience different genres of music…with a little Weird Al thrown in the mix!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the first Act, Rock, you’re tasked with collecting Cuffs (
) to unlock each prize!
The First Rock Prize awarded at 4,800 is the Pig Balloon, because nothing says rock like an inflatable pig…
So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 4,800 you’ll automatically be awarded the balloon and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place the balloon in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it.
It does come with a little bit of dialogue when placed…
Homer: Hey, it’s an inflatable concert pig, just like at Hullabalooza.
Lisa: It’s a symbol of the corporate greed of the record companies.
Homer: Except, now all the greedy record companies are out of business.
Bart: So now it just means “Caution: a fat man may try to sing”.
That’s it. Just place and move on…

Size: 1×1
Earns: Nada for now. Just a decoration..but who knows. I’m sure one day EA will bring it back as a premium item and throw a bonus % on it…
Conform-O-Meter:Vanity +100
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass/pavement/beach/boardwalk/dirt/pier. Once you’ve unlocked as a prize you’ll be able to craft more via the crafting menu for 40

What’s Next?
Technically the Free Land Tile and a new venue unlocked is next….awarded at 11,100 , but since that’s not a tangible gift for Springfield (just a free land space & unlocking the Simpson House for Jam Sessions. And a real quick note about the Jam Venue…it’s not a physical item for Springfield. This just unlocks your ability to hold Jam Sessions on the Simpsons House. I know some of you are still confused on this.)

Pink Floyd’s “Animals” album rocks and the story about how the giant pig floated away/escaped at the photo shoot for the album cover and the band fled is glorious. The floating porker was spotted by aircraft even and surely confused the heck out of them. lol. The piggy was later recovered from a farmers field.
The pig could also be an illusion to the Pink Floyd THE WALL concerts. There were pigs flying in those, too.
Allusion. Not illusion. Although flying pigs are an illusion too I guess.

I love this decoration because of Pink Floyd.
I like that pig even if I still don’t see the connection to the music festival. Right now, I have two floating by the rock stage, and I will probably craft a couple more. Basically, pigs go with anything… 😉

Has anyone else’s “more rock” bonuts questiline disappeared since getting the final prize?
I have the last prize and am still collecting bonuts. I haven’t finished Peter’s quest line, tho…I think I’ll wait to complete it until I know if it turns off the bonuts.
I have to finished Peter’s questline and my Bonuts are still ongoing.
I like that I actually have a few too many people for the main source of income as this lets me finish the questioned as they come. Rather than having a mitt full of them at the end and can’t keep them sorted on what each story is doing.
I stopped at part 4 of Peter’s quest line but thankfully the bonut task has now reappeared! *panic over*
Great…I can finish all the quest lines now…taking a break from cuff earning till next week.

So not sure what is going on, but I am now getting the bonuts as if I have finished the quest line, but I am only up to the fourth price (IE got Delacourt yesterday). Anyone else seeing this?

Love those crowds! I think they’re one of the best craftables we’ve ever had. Just wish the rude crowd wasn’t so much more expensive than the regular one….I like to mix them up together.
Alissa, do you know if additional crafting items will be introduced in Act 2, or is this all of it? I have almost everything, so I’m not sure if I should try to finish all the items by the end of Act 1, or do they continue to the end of the event?
Sorry, says right in the pop-up…the crafting items will go till the end of the event. So I guess I’m just hoping something additional will be added in Act 2?

Patric has a good drum kit but he’s sort of sitting at the wrong angle to be playing it….And Alissa’s guitar stays put by levitation because there’s no visible strap.
