Today marks the official 4 year anniversary of when TSTO Addicts was officially launched! We’re completely blown away by the AMAZING community of readers we have here at TSTO Addicts. We absolutely love what we do and really appreciate all of YOU!
Of course we’re no strangers to celebrating an anniversary around here! We celebrated every anniversary on this site, no matter how big or small. (including our 1 month blogiversary way back when!) We’re always celebrating little milestones with each other and we LOVE to share the bigger ones with you guys! After all YOU guys are the heart and soul of this community….and we wouldn’t have it any other way! (plus who doesn’t like a good party?!) So pop the champagne, break out the noise makers and let’s get to celebrating already!
I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to our wonderful readers and share a few thoughts on Addicts turning 4!
Honestly guys, I can’t believe we’re here celebrating FOUR years of TSTO Addicts. If you had asked me 4 years ago if 1) I thought we’d still be doing this four years later and 2) if I thought we’d be nearing the 100 MILLION hit mark I would have told you heck no and very likely I would’ve laughed in your face.
We set out with no real thoughts that we’d be anything more than a tiny little blog about a silly little game, and now here we sit almost 100 million hits later…just wow. I still remember emailing Wookiee back when we first started about how nervous I was that we wouldn’t hit 1,000 hits one day. We’ve come a long way Fuzzball!
I’ve said this many times before but when we set out to create the site we wanted to be different. We wanted to do things no one else was doing. We wanted something with more personality. We wanted to laugh and have fun.
Now here we stand 4 years later and I think we’re continuing to achieve our goals daily!
But honestly, no matter what we write, or how this site continues to unfold day in and day out, this site would not be what it is today with out you amazing readers! You guys make this place fun, we just supply the music and margaritas! We love each and every one of you for being here and being part of this AMAZING Community! 🙂
The community is the heart and soul of this place…and we wouldn’t have it any other way! So thank YOU, yes YOU for being a part of this community! Even if you’re just a “lurker”, you still take the time to read what we say day in and day out…and for that, we are truly grateful from the bottom of our TSTO filled hearts! 🙂
Of course we have our problems, no one is perfect. We’ve had a few faces come and go (and in Pat’s case come back again) but we’ve always remained true to what we setout to do four years ago..and that is to make a fun community site, dedicated to our favorite mobile game (and yellow family)!
I made you guys a promise WAYYYYYY back in September of 2013, and every year on our blogiversary I like to renew that promise, and see if those words still hold true: “My promise to you, our amazing readers, is to ALWAYS provide you with the best content in a fun way.” If you’re not having fun when you’re here, we’re not doing our jobs right.
Here we stand just about 4 years later, and I think we’re continuing to keep that promise and renewing support to keep going strong!
So here’s to a great year and many more to come!

Congratulations and Happy 4 Year Blogiversary. Not much a talker myself, but I read almost every post for the last year, didn’t really visit much couple years ago. Anyhow 4 years is a very long time to organise this site, and also it’s quite short as well, thanks for all the hard work you guys putting in, and always quick response for new updates.

I found this site in the winter of 16. Before that I was playing without neighbors and when my game crashed someone at the App Store told me about this blog. Since then it has been a great journey getting all the information about the game and meeting the leaders and neighbors through the posts and discussions. I am sure I would not be playing Tapped Out anymore if it was not for this blog.

Thanks for getting me past the “what, why, how? ” stage of game play. Although some may say I’m still not, that’s not because of what you do, it’s my denseness (is that even a word?) and I’ve just proved my point by possibly mangling the English language haven’t I ? 😀

Working on the masthead part for Safi…but I am pretty sure that he has to wear the “Freshman Beanie” for at least a month…even though his crazy, time-intense, Bracket Challenges should be worth accelerating this detail!
I love this little addicts community. I have learned so much and I’m not just talking about the game. Many addicts have a lot to offer from gardening tips to restaurant reviews and books to read (thanks Sandra). Most importantly, thanks to our amazing hosts, your hard work is what brings us together. I am so grateful for all you do! Patric, I love your stories and for showing us that this can become a real force for positive change in the world. Alissa, I don’t know how you do it all, so impressive!!! Wookie, your heart and your laughter show us to have fun everyday. Not only does this anniversary represent your enormous talent to give necessary information in a lovingly respectful and timely fun way, but you have also created an addition to the game itself that is just as addictive and “Life Ruining Fun” that we were all warned about when we first started this adventure.
