Hope you’ve got your dancing shoes on and your cell phones ready to light up the night because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield! That’s right the pop fest has begun! Our stores are now jam-packed with premium items just tempting us to drop our sprinkles on!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Classified Records and L.T. Smash to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this prepper to your town…

Pros
-Classified Records is animated when in use, lights up red and music notes light up
-Funny outdoor animated tasks (4 and 8hr)

-Not voiced (but not surprised on this one…)
-Pricey for a character/building combo, especially a one-off character/building
-Does not Jam
Final Thought
Premium:
A fairly typical premium character. He’s got a full set of tasks and a questline, but there’s nothing really spectacular about L.T. So if you like him and have fond memories of his 1 episode pick him up. OR if you collect characters (especially character/building combos) pick him up, otherwise pass.
Freemium:
Freemium players, I’d pass on this one. Just not worth spending your donuts, you’re better off saving them for BGM or Leon. So pass on L.T. and save those Sprinkles.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’ll likely pick him up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games for good (or for now).

I totally regret buying him. Since I use primarily 4hour tasks, he’s been sitting in the inventory next to Norbert ever since. Complete waste of 140 donuts…

I’m very annoyed with this character’s 4-hour task (as so many others have mentioned), but I like this building, when it’s animated. I hadn’t thought of sending him flying….I have Leopold doing 4-hour flights during the day, anyway, since it’s his only possible 4-hour task. No reason I can’t add LT to that activity as well. Wishing I had four plane tickets, instead of three, though, because then Arnie and Norbert could join them (which I’d also never thought of).

There’s a bug for LT Smash for me – when he’s sent on an 1-hour task, the building activates its animation but the LT just stands outside. It’s as if the programmers left out the code where the character is supposed to disappear once the building animates.
Anyone else?
Me too…didn’t think about it till you mentioned it. I’m ok with him standing outside,tho…an unplanned visual task. 😄
I am surprised he doesn’t jam, but I wasn’t considering him. Since I like to plan ahead with my donut spending (farmium player) and therefore look up spoiler sites, I knew that I want BGM, Otto and Leon. I also know, that there are two more offers coming up I’ll be very interested in, so there is no budget for LT anyway.
Never been more on the fence about a character. I think it’s because he doesn’t benefit the event. I like him, but 150 big ones for a minor character? Will wait to see how many donuts I have just before he times out.
Bought him right away because I thought he would be able to go on jams – silly me… Even after unlocking Weird Al I am still one pop character short when all the swing stages go pop. Very annoying!
I’m always short a performer also. Not crazy about having Hannah as the final prize…by then she can only be used for bonuts…what’s the point of having a performer show up at the end of the act? EA could have switched the order of the pop plane and Montana…would have made more sense to me.
Characters are almost always the last prize. If you swapped a character with a decoration, that would be like rewarding a student who completes 60% of his school work a $100 bill and then when he gets to 100% complete, giving him a table lamp. Why would any one want to complete 100% of the work if that extra 40% only got them a table lamp? Now if I got to 60% and got a table lamp, I definitely would be motivated to the little bit more to get me a $100 bill. (I’m struggling to think of a better analogy, so table lamps and $100 bills is what you get). I will unlock Alaska Nebraska (aka Hannah Montana) in 90 minutes, so I can use her for the remaining 6 days. As well, she can be used on the Pop stages throughout Act 3 as well.
A table lamp? Is that what people get for a bonus up in the GWN? Lol!
Only way I’d get him is if they add him to a mystery box (maybe a Real Military event someday)

Hank Azeria voiced him in the episode, so he should be voiced. That or my L.T. Smash is one-in-a-million. When tapped he says, “Hey you! Join the Navy!” and when he starts a task he says, “Yeees… Proteeect the cooountry…” somewhat menacingly but comedic. I haven’t heard the one he says when he completes a task because it’s kinda quiet.
I’m a bit surprised that he/building doesn’t at least have the ability to earn tickets/Crafting currency! Not that an extra character earning Crafting currency has ever been necessary, but it would at least seem like added value, kwim?
On the fence (though leaning towards no)…
Hey tappers for those of you who have Norbert in storage use the airport to send him on 4hr flights. Same income, in less the irritant☺️. Was gonna do the same with LT but EA has not added him to the flyer group😡. 8hr job for him then…Airport also recognises Premium chars, so nothing lost. 💜X

I’m disappointed he doesn’t jam, but since I collect characters (and at least one premium skin for non-premium), I had to get him. I think it’s funny his 4 hour task is one that flies across the screen. I’ll see how annoying he is when combined with Norbert. At least with Arnie Pie, I have his stonecutter skin.
I got LT. I was short some doughnuts. I finished a daily activity that rewarded me a Mystery Box. Mr.Burns was so generous he gave me 30 doughnuts which put me over enough to buy LT Smash. Word to the wise, avoid his 4hr task. It’s another flying in your tapping area sort of task. EA should patch these tasks. Santa Homer, Arnie Pie, Norbert, Kodos, I can’t think of anyone else who flies across the screen.
It would be very funny when EA reactivates the Space Canon and the Elf Gun 😂
Apparently one of his tasks is of the obnoxious fly-across-the-screen variety. Will probably avoid for this reason.

Argh! Those silly flying things (like LT’s drone, Arnie’s helicopter, etc) annoy the crud outta me! 🙁
Yeah, EA need these so they can’t be tapped on. Especially Nobert’s plane which triggers if you tap anywhere within an inch of him.
The same goes for Santa Homer’s Sleigh and Arnie Pay’s news helicopter.
We really do need an air traffic control!

Absolutely regret buying him. His 4-hr task has a flyover animation and I can’t stand them. There’s nothing more annoying that going to click a building or character and instead being teleported to the other side of your city.
As if Norbert wasn’t bad enough I now have smash’s drone flying across at the same time!
At some point, I’m going to have to see how annoying it’d be to have the Drone, the Fairy, the Bi-Plane, the Sled, and the Helicopter all on screen at the same time.
I might just uninstall TSTO immediately afterwards.

Arnie has been in my inventory for years now.. I’m usually pretty good at keeping Norbert in his 24 hour task but I forget sometimes.. like 5 minutes ago.
EA should reduce the tapping radius of all flying objects.
(The radius was even bigger than it is now)
MRM- I send Norbert on flights out of the airport. He’s a real globetrotter. At the mo I can’t send LT so he’s on 8hr task. Arnie lives in Stonecutter garb 100% of time….💜X
