Should I Spend Donuts on the Snub Club?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Hope you’ve got your dancing shoes on and your cell phones ready to light up the night because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield!  That’s right the rock fest has begun!  Our stores are now jam-packed with premium items just tempting us to drop our sprinkles on!

Of course with that limited-time label, it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Snub Club to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this swanky club to your town…

Building/Decoration: The Snub Club
Donut Cost: 65 Donuts
Size: 5×9
Earns: $300, 30xp/12hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10

Pros
-Comes with a questline (1 part)
-2hr task for Milhouse there (Hit the Club, earns $110, 27xp)
-Animated when in use, lights turn on.  Silhouette of dancing and the spotlights out front move around.

Cons
-large footprint
-No benefit for the event

Final Thought
Premium:
Not bad for a building, if you like the design.  Comes with a questline and a permanent task for Milhouse. If you like it grab it, there are worse buildings you can buy.

Freemium:
Personally, I think Freemium players should pass.  It’s not bad for a premium building, but I think you’re better off saving your freemium donuts for characters.  Pass on this one for now.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’m on the fence.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the questline it comes with…

Club Grub
Milhouse starts

Milhouse: Bart! My parents snuck away from each other and left me alone again.
Bart: I’m not singing you to sleep.
Milhouse: Sleep?  No, man.  I’m hitting the club!
Bart: I’ll never understand how you can be afraid of your own shadow but go clubbing.
Milhouse: Everyone there is eating funny vitamins that makes them act even weirder than me!
Make Milhouse Hit the Club- 2hrs, Earns $110, 27xp

What are your thoughts on the Snub Club?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield? Did you already?  Why or why not?  Where have you placed it in Springfield?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Snub Club
Seriously? This should’ve been a Craftable (or Act 2 Prize)!
    C’mon EA!😅

  2. Glad I saw this post, didn’t even notice it in my store

  3. ‘funny vitamins’ lol kinda wanna get the building just to see the dialogue in my game lol

  4. Is anyone else having trouble with the vault? I bought Mr Burns limo, got my ten donuts rebate, but no limo! I searched my inventory, and nothing!

    • Wow.. that was painful! I was on the phone with EA customer service for three hours, but they finally got me my limo. They said it was a glitch.

  5. There a reason I have yet to see any of this stuff in my store? I’m on act two and nothing.

    • Good question. You should have been offered Leon/Bedlam, Classified Records/L.T. Smash, Snub Club and Hot Air Balloon at least in your stores Jam Section. Wickerman bundle, Camping Tent, and Oedipus RX too assuming you don’t already have them. All I can suggest is go to tapped out in the app store of your device and see if there is an update you can download. Odds are your automated updater is off on your device. I have an Android, Iphone, and Kindle with Tapped out so I run a pretty good gambit on devices and the stores are up to date on each of them.

    • Check your updates?

      • Basically what I am saying is if you seem to be missing things in game like the Snub Club go to your app store, or Google Play Store if you use an Android, and search for Simpsons Tapped Out. Click on the Tapped Out App and you should then see the store info along with either an OPEN or UPDATE button. If you see UPDATE instead of OPEN then you need to press UPDATE to get the new stuff. Also if you see UPDATE you should check the update settings in your App Store. It may not be set to automatically update your apps which you may or may not want to set.

There are advantages to both really. Having it turned off MIGHT buy you a few extra days in an event to get another prize or craft a few extra items from that event. They will force an update at some point so you never know how much extra time you will have and another downside of course is it may delay you starting the next event until you update causing you to be a bit behind.

  6. I picked it up. Fits in well with my arena district/Nightlife area. I think eventually once I’m able to get some things moved around it could find a new home in Heights. Just sounds like a place called the “Snub Club” should be in there.

  7. Tempting as I still need to work on a clubbing area, this would fit in with that.

  8. Not much of a snub club if they let Milhouse in. He should be snubbed. Lol!

  9. When are thEAy going to give us more boardwalk tiles for all the space I have in the ocean and a ton of buildings to place out to sea?!

The submarine once in a while tile is not enough 🤔

  10. I used to always pass on things like this-I mean stand alone buildings in the 50-100 donut range. But they add some nice variety. Now that I have more donuts, I’m happy to add them to my town. 🙂

  11. Normally, I’m a “buy first, read SIB posts later” kinda person. For this one, I wasn’t sure. As a premium player, I relied heavily on your opinion & I’m gonna buy it (even though Milhouse isn’t gonna be available for a long while, since he’s on the pop stage).

    Thanks so much!! <3

Although it would be nice to have another club in my Springfield, I’m saving my reserved donuts for Gil’s Deal for this event, since we now know it isn’t L.T. Smash, it’s probably Rachel Jordan. I won big on a Scratch card, so now have 192 donuts, yay! 😊 Sorry Milhouse, you’ll have to hit the club some other time.
