Put another dime in a jukebox and grab your dancing shoes, because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield! Yes, the biggest music fest to hit our pocket-sized Springfields since the Singing Stones is live and rocking on our devices! The latest event in TSTO has us feeling the beat as we experience different genres of music…with a little Weird Al thrown in the mix!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the second Act, Pop, you’re tasked with collecting Sunglasses (
) to unlock each prize!
The sixth (and final) Pop Prize awarded at 105,500 is Alaska Nebraska, because sometimes you need the best of both worlds….
So let’s take a closer look at this sixth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 105,500 you’ll automatically be awarded Alaska Nebraska and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place her in your Springfield or store in your inventory for later. Remember if you store her you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it.
Once placed in your Springfield her Character Unlock message will popup:

I just got her through one of the Mystery Boxes. The problem is, she’s given a four hour task performing on the pop stage, and she’s done it but it won’t complete it…just gives her the same task to do. I’ve rebooted my iPad but nothing changes. Anyone else having this issue?
I am also having this problem. I stored and replaced the pop stage and Alaska but that didn’t help.

I uninstalled TSTO and reinstalled it, and that fixed it!
Got her last week, and took a bit of a break from the game since then. And by ‘break’ I mean only log in once a day, maybe twice, not every four hours. And I also took a break from the blog, but I am back again with the start of act 3. Time to spread around some lawyers 🙂

I unlocked her this morning, then didn’t log in for the rest of the day because I didn’t bother to set my timer. (Yep, still bored with this event.)
I hope the next round of characters have better tasks than this event’s characters 😐

Poor Bunny?! She’s the one that ditched us. She’s had plenty of chances to write posts here, she’s the one that never did. Not poor Bunny, poor Alissa. I’m the one that has to do double work because she ditched us. Certainly not poor Bunny.
I just got her. I had three days I wasn’t feeling well and almost didn’t tap more than once a day but turned up the grind at the last minute and finally got her to my surprise. lol I now have 125 lawyers to drop now hopefully it will be a good start for hip hop stage that I don’t want to build anyway lol I hate hip hop. As Im a heavy metal fan. Good to see you guys had a great trip to cali looked like a great time.
I started doing Alaska & Rock Maggie’s questlines yesterday. I gather it’s not too important to keep collecting sunglasses if I already have all the prizes for this act?
I didn’t know they had made Waverly Hills Elementary. Hopefully that appears again, though it is a shame Alaska does not have a task there. The Vault items are changing in several hours, maybe it will show up. Of course, do I want to be spending donuts on a school with act 3 about to start? Probably not.

It is a little disappointing that 2 of her indoor tasks are at the brown house, the other is at Springfield elementary when it could be at Waverly Hills elementary for people that bought the school and then go to Springfield elementary for those that didn’t buy the school. Like the Sungazer members, she does not have a 4 hour task so do you think that she might get one after the event? At least there is another questline that I can do after the event has ended. 🙂
I’m guessing the 4-hour tasks will be to perform (on the appropriate stages) after the event is over.
I’m guessing you’re right. I hope she can fly or go to the Moonbounce, ’cause my pop stage is destined for inventory.
I was planning the same, then saw a neighbor’s design (thanks, Cards Flying High)…he has rebuilt a part of Squidport to make an island for the Pop Stage, accessed by the pirate bridge. I’ll be ‘borrowing’ the design after the event. I just love creative neighbors👍😄.
That could be likely and it would be great if the other characters (Homer, Apu, Lisa etc.) could perform on the stages after the event like with the Open Air Stage. Becca, I keep on forgetting that the moon bounce is in my Springfield and I think its only the youngsters of Springfield that uses it and Alaska does not have the 30 min “Sneak an Ice Cream” at the Ice Cream Truck and the 2 hour “Catch a Movie” at the big T theatre tasks, so maybe she would not be considered a youngster, EA could add it and allow her and others (Ronaldo, Adil etc.) to use the moon bounce.
For me, this event has been pretty good. Got Alaska Nebraska a few days ago and pulled in tons of bonuts. Everything has been pretty achievable for me as a freemium player. It would be nice, however if there were more craftables.
If you are in a spot where you can, check your neighboreenos. If they are close to 105,500 drop some lawyers on them.

Hi all. I am running behind on Act 2 (damn holidays getting in the way of my tappin!!); I could hold out until the morning, before the final Act starts, to buy Alaska with donuts. As a freemium player my donuts are hard earned…. is Alaska worth paying with donuts (expecting she would probably cost me around 65 donuts)?
I would buy her, considering most free characters come back as premium, either in the mystery box (60-85 donuts) or even thinking about Clobber Girl skin for Lisa, which was 60 donuts when it returned this year. Buy her if you have the sprinkles unless you don’t mind spending more than you would now further down the line..
Thanks for the advice; think I will get her. I have a couple more opportunities to bring the donut price down before the next Act starts and now think I should be able to pick her up for about 45 – 50.
Look into KEM farming and you will be able to buy everything you want in a year.

Am I the only freemium player that each additional KEM sold is for less money? That forces alternate considerations.
The book mobile buying and selling 4 results in paying for 3 to gain that additional XP
Every item you purchase in TSTO for in-game cash that can be sold has a resale value of 25%. This is standard whether you purchase bloodmobiles or KEM.
Because KEM price escalates for the first 25 you purchase, likewise, sale prices depreciate for the last 25 you sell.
Well she can perform and earn currency for Act 3, so if you are struggling now, having another performer would certainly help in the next act. But definitely wait till Act 2 is ending before spending donuts.
Thanks for the advice; I am usually able to keep on track but my holidays interfered and I wasn’t able to get on very much for a whole week 😩. Will definitely get her but will wait for the last tap tomorrow morning before the update to bring down the donut spend as much as possible 😊

One of the act 3 prizes will become craft able just like the first 2 acts.
I’ve done her questline and it is practically the same concept as the Sexy Pirate questline where Sexy Pirate hangs out with Homer and lives a new lifestyle. Before realising that the original lifestyle is better for them..
But…I LOVE her new name. Oregon California? Too funny…
