Homerpalooza Prize Guide: Act 3 (Hip Hop), Prize 1 Hip Hop Stage

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Put another dime in a jukebox and grab your dancing shoes, because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield!  Yes, the biggest music fest to hit our pocket-sized Springfields since the Singing Stones is live and rocking on our devices!  The latest event in TSTO has us feeling the beat as we experience different genres of music…with a little Weird Al thrown in the mix!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the third Act, Hip Hop, you’re tasked with collecting Bling () to unlock each prize!

The First Hip Hop Prize awarded at 14,600  is the Hip Hop Stage, because nothing says Hip Hop like flashing lights and money flying everywhere…

So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 14,600 you’ll automatically be awarded the Hip Hop Stage and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place the stage in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later.  Don’t store it…if you do you won’t be able to complete the Act 3 questline…

The Hip Hop Stage is essential to Act 3, without it you won’t be able to have the Hip Hop Acts perform Jam Sessions.

For more details about Hip Hop Stage Jam Sessions check out Safi’s post here.

Let’s move onto the quick details on the stage…

Size: 8×10
Earns: Nada for now. But characters can Jam there, so it’ll earn event currency for their tasks.
Build Time: 4hrs
Conform-O-Meter:
Vanity +100
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass/pavement/beach/boardwalk/dirt/pier.

And there you have it, the details behind the Hip Hop Stage Stage, the first Homerpalooza Act 3 prize!

What’s Next?

ico_stor_single_freelandtokenTechnically the Free Land Tile and a new venue unlocked is next….awarded at 33,600, but since that’s not a tangible gift for Springfield (just a free land space & unlocking Krusty Burger for Jam Sessions.  And a real quick note about the Jam Venue…it’s not a physical item for Springfield.  This just unlocks your ability to hold Jam Sessions at Krusty Burger)

the next prize we’ll cover is…

All Sales Vinyl- Awarded at 56,900.  This will be the next prize we break down in the prize guide post.

What are your thoughts on the Hip Hop Stage? Safe to assume you’ve unlocked it by now?  Where have you placed it in your Springfield? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. All of the Stages feature great Animation when Springfield Characters are using them (hopefully they will earn decent $ and XP, or I’m storing them post Event, as they take up lots of space)! 🤔

  2. Is anyone else disappointed that Cletus can’t be sent to the Hip Hop stage to jam?

  3. I earned Cletus manager bundle while visiting neighbors. I found the truck, but I can’t find other item. Is it a skin? It doesn’t show up on Cletus. Thanks for any input.

  4. I use stage lights over looking my police training area, spotlights around the prison, superhero tower, Springfield Heights highlights. Turrets on the docks, around big tonys mansion, around the police station. Extras can come in handy with a vivid imagination. =)

  5. I might be the only one but out of all three stages (rock, pop + hip-hop) the rock stage is the most bland stage on it’s own (without any decorations) while the pop and hip-hop stages have more design to them on their own and look great some decorations like skylights and spotlights. The rock stage seems to require more decorations like the speakers, lasers, stage lights etc. Other than that, I have nearly finished the festival design and hope to submit it to the show off post. I am still collecting currency to get to manager Cletus and his monster truck, is it true that he earns at a premium rate?

  6. Hi! Do you think there is any benefit in sending characters to jam (besides bonuts) once you’ve got all the prizes? Like, is it worth it to keep leveling up characters to the max? Thanks!!!

    Hey guys!
I got heaps (5000 or so) Tickets left. Any tips how to spent them best? I’ve crafted everything and don’t want to let them get to waste.

P.S.: I am as disappointed as Lisa that there isn’t a Jazz festival part 😉

  8. I have question with this game. I was trying to increase my Springfield Heights income to the 2 billion mark. I buy SH items then store them. (I’m not placing 50 helicopters in my town) Last night I get a message telling me my inventory is full. Is this a glitch or do I have a situation to deal with? Today I have no issues with my storage of unwanted/unused items. Can somebody tell me if this has happened to your game. I googled “Full Storage” for TSTO and most people said it’s a glitch. Thanks for any feedback my fellow Tappers.

    • I have a 1.89 billion Springfield heights and have never had a problem with the inventory for it.

The limit of items placed in town is now 10,200 (I think). This does not include anything on the inventory but only items placed in Springfield. Not even KL.

When I nuked I was on the cusp of the limit at 10,000 items. I can warn you that after nuking there does seem to be a limit on items displayed in the inventory. However … as you place stuff it fills back up again. Just a nightmare so be warned.

It may be that you need to place the items first from SH then store.

      • Thanks Brooders. I think it was a glitch because I haven’t had the message that my Inventory was full. I have no idea what my Inventory count is though. I usually store or sell items I don’t want from the Claw Machine mini game from the Bowling Event and the Excavation Site mini game from the Prehistoric Event. Both of these mini events offer nothing I want to place in my town. I did get the Homer Barbarian Statue awhile ago.

  9. I do like the money that flies out of it😊

  10. After I got this I decided to make a festival area. It’s turned out pretty well.
