It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

We’re nearing the finish line for Homerpalooza, just a couple more days (it ends Tuesday) to finish it all up…and then the next big thing hits! Or a few smaller things…
Speaking of Homerpalooza…have you been working on any great Homerpalooza designs? Be sure to share your designs for the next Springfield Showoff.

Just wondering what parodies we’ll see this next Tree House of Horrors. I know it’s a little soon but an idea came to me, they should do a segment called “f.IT” where Krusty keeps popping up in order to get Homer to lose weight (toss in the DIE.t sign as call back to the X-files episode). 🤡🎈🎈🎈
I didn’t like that I really had to think to get the players to get to all of the concert venues. Even though, I bought or had most all of the concert players, I didn’t always have enough players to fill the venues. It was extremely annoying. I liked the Weird Al event, but it was too slow. By the time I unlocked him for the last event, I was done with ranking up to get Cletus’ skin. I’m tired of event items that just take up space. All the concert ticket items seem to fit this bill. I will most likely put the concert items that are just taking up space into the storage. I bought all I wanted and had about 4400 tickets remaining. I also thought the star system was off for leveling up the players, as I played a bunch of this event and about half of the players aren’t fully leveled.
Dear EA, for my birthday I’d like to be able to zoom out so I can see my whole Springfield xx
And be able to edit and move things around when I can see it all in one place 🙂

I would like to be able to play it off my PC so I can use the mouse and s larger screen. Trying to rearrange stuff using my IPod Touch is difficult
You can! I do! Use BlueStacks – android emulator for Windows – works well but still shows you a tiny bit of your springfield.
That’s awesome to know. Thanks for that. Emulators are cool. I wasn’t aware an Android emulator for windows existed. Sweet! I think my tablet is winding down from use and might die on me soon and that could really help me keep playing until I can get another tablet

Thanks for your good thoughts…they seem to have worked! We woke up to both power and water restored this morning, and made fresh coffee! My parents want to get back to central Florida ASAP, but we probably won’t go back till Thursday or Friday…buying gas down there is pretty “iffy” right now. Thanks for thinking of me…considering the mess down south, we didn’t get hit too bad. Lots of yard cleanup, and we have a frog pond in the back yard, but we are all safe and the rest of my family still in Florida came thru unscathed. And…I finally got to tap this morning…yippee!

I’ve actually enjoyed this event. I’m disappointed I couldn’t get all my characters to 5 stars. I’ll have 15/22 by the event end. I lost a lot of play time due to evacuating southwest Florida. I’ll blame that.

I lost interest in the event after the hip hop act began. I am happy about adding Otto, Leon and BGM to my town, as well as “Jay G” and having the crowds from crafting around. But once the hip hop act started, I already had all the craftable items I wanted and the price track was really underwhelming. At some point, even just logging in twice per day felt like a chore, so I stopped playing after getting Bart’s costume.
I hope Halloween event will be better.

I just finished Manager Cletus’s quest line another quest line has begun: ‘Climbing up to the D-list’ along with Wolfcastle. Is this a new quest line or did we have this when we first unlocked Cletus?

No, I’ve had him for almost a year now in my B game. Must’ve been a glitch. Hopefully I don’t have to complete the entire questline. It’s sooo long.
This event has not interested me at all. It is the first event and I haven’t gotten the final prize for an act in at least two years. I didn’t finish two acts 😳 I’m hoping that the next event gets me more excited to stay on the four hour cycle. I’m super glad the event did happen though bc I know a lot of people wanted Bleeding Gums. Hope everyone else has been having fun with the event and that you all have an awesome weekend:)
Leon Kompwski and his brick origami job…is there something about the episode that I’m forgetting or are they just playing off his size? A thought…I wouldn’t mind if our three concert goers (the tappables) stuck around after the event ala the 3 tourists. I wouldn’t expect these 3 to be as cheap and I might even consider buying them as NPCs and I’m not even an NPC guy.
Anyone else excited for the iPhone X? Been keeping up with macrumors and I can’t wait for Tuesday, even though I have a good idea of what all they’re announcing lol. Hope I get it this year.
$999 for a phone? Nope. Uh uh. Mine cost one tenth that and I doubt the new iPhone is actually, literally ten times better than it. Also, I have tons of questions about the whole “face lock” thing….seems like a nightmare “feature.” But I’m sure there will be lines around the block, as usual…
I’ve just gotten the last prize in the final act, but I missed the last prize in the 2nd act. Wish I could apply the stuff I’m collecting now towards Alaska Nebraska, ’cause me ponying up 70 donuts for it ain’t gonna happen.
Hi MAB!!! Happy Sunday all!!! I unfortunately got sucked into the world of tomorrow… I loooove the show. Had to try it out. Def don’t like the quest for stuff style of play. The game Does take forever to aquire new characters esp during an event but I still do like playing it. Of course no where near as much as TSTO. And now that addicts is doin a blog for it jus made my day!! That was the one wish I had. ☺️ ty in adavance for all the extra work you folks are doin on that along with TSTO. World of tomorrow seems to have much more stuff to cover. Ok … nuff bout that other game. Can’t wait for this event to wrap up. And on to the next one!! Woooo!!!😋😋
