Just a reminder that the Homerpalooza Event Ends TOMORROW September 12th.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Lol. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 3 Acts.
- However, the questlines linked directly the the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so BGM, Manager Cletus etc)
- The event removal will require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game… It will require an app store update to remove everything.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of collection as far as you can. If you turn OFF the auto update feature in your App Market, you may give yourself an extra day or so… just know that ANY time after the 12th is borrowed time and you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK. EA can force the update at anytime after the 12th and make you update. So use any extra time wisely and get what you need before you have to remove the Event completely.
Also, we’ve seen with a few recent events EA shuts off the ability to earn one item or another. So don’t bank on being able to get that extra time. Try to earn as bling as you can until the event ends.
And don’t forget to craft! Use em (the tickets) or lose em!
So tap those last few fans and relax and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.
Additional note:
Some of you are asking what you should craft with all of your extra crafting currency. There’s no magic item to craft. There’s no way of knowing what EA might make premium in the future, with a bonus %. Best advice I can give you is craft at least one of everything. If there’s something you think you could use in a particular design craft a bunch of them and stick them in storage.
If you feel like you’ve crafted everything you want, then it’s ok to not use all of your crafting currency. Just because you have it doesn’t mean you need to spend it.

A few others asked me about which gives the most XP when placed in Springfield…it appears as if each item (you can craft multiples of) gives you 100xp when placed in Springfield. So there’s no item that gives you more of an advantage.

Information for future reference: I couldn’t update my phone for a while, and have been playing the Music Festival Event with a C game after it officially ended; and even though the prize track was already shut down in the menu, I was awarded the Rappin Bart skin when I hit the right amount of bling (~83k) yesterday evening. So people just shy of the next prize do still have a grace period, even though it doesn’t look that way in the event hub.
so it seems that once the bonuts option is gone then it’s time to craft everything you can and like and update, I was 1000 away for my nect bonuts, whatever I was done with this ethernal event already
I’m with Mike; It took ages for the event end to finally be updateable! I was just so tired of the complexity of this event that I wanted it gone! Yes; I got all the prizes through diligent tapping; But in all honesty after 5 years play in my 2 towns I’m feeling very jaded & didn’t even do much in my towns until after midday today. Most was just catch up on questlines not done.
Why crash into another event as a time filler? According to this site the County Fair is coming 6pm Aussie time tonight?! Not all of us tappers are young sprightly people waiting for the next big thing or we get bored!
I was looking for a few days to gather my senses. rearrange a few things in my towns & catch up on sleep. County Fair (We call it Show Day here in Australia) sound like fun! I hope it’s not a grind like the music event. – In my opinion Worst Event Ever! – & I did Whacking Day & the dreaded Easter Wheel in both my rowns!
When I went to bed last night there were three hours+ left in the event. Now I’m about two hours away from bed and the end still hasn’t happened! I have fans but the bling counter is gone, all the quests are finished, please, please end it! And surely when it is officially ended we’ll be allowed then to store our stages? Three stages permanently in town may force me to find a new game.
I hate to say it but I think my days after around 4 years in Springfield are coming to an end it’s just really starting to just be ridiculous
Im going to miss this event wish there was longer time and act 4 . my favorite of all the events 😢
I’m ready for the Halloween event. I hope we get a lot of useful decorations and house/building skins. And please god no more superhero stuff!

How funny that there are two great moments in this game. The first when we get to start a new event, and the second when we get to end it…
Glad this is finally a wrap. Ready for Halloween! I have to say that I’m really disappointed that I can’t store the hip-hop stage or pop stage. This event really called for a lot more real estate than I am willing to spare. Tha stages were necessary for the event, and I definitely enjoyed it, but I don’t need 3 different stages in my Springfield.
Apart from collecting bonuts, I can still do everything else. I have all the prizes, all I’m actually doing is trying to level up the last few characters to 5 stars. Most are there already but the ones that became available near the end of Act 2 are either on 4 or 4 1/2 stars at the minute. I doubt I’ll be able to get all of them but I’ll keep trying. It’s only because I’m back at work that I haven’t been tapping as frequently.
I would not stress over it. When the take down happens soon I would think the star ratings become meaningless. Enjoy the ride as it was and look forward to the next event. Congrats on getting all the prizes.
I’m the same – somehow I want them all at five stars, even though the star rating probably will be gone with the event.
Not sure about everyone else, but for me, as of 6:20am Eastern time, the donut quest is gone. I want even done collecting for the one I was on, but it’s not there anymore. I do not have auto update on, note do I have an update in my store. Also, the two event tabs are still on screen (top right near daily tasks and the bottom row near neighbors) but neither of them works anymore. I try to open them but it won’t let me. Everything is still in the store though. Maybe an event ending glitch? Anyone else seeing this?

Can’t earn bonuts any more. I’ve crafted everything I want. I’ve earned all the prizes. Just waiting for the update so I don’t have to see those blasted fans taunting me any longer (man they were a pain in the butt to find most of the time!). TBH they were probably one of the most frustrating things to have to tap compared to past events.
Wow, they really shut down the event almost completely – no more collecting for prizes, no more bonuts, event store is empty except for the fence. The only thing still available is crafting, and leveling up your performers. Both feels pretty pointless…
The update removed BONUTS. I was 5000 away from another three bonuts. How could you do this EA, especially when the daily tasks where awarding bling
No it didnt. The event was slated to end bright and early today. The event timer ended it. Events over.
In previous events, players could continue collecting bonuts until the actual event-removing update went through. Sadly, I was a few taps away from another set of free bonuts. Oh well. I’ll update sooner rather than later.
What I enjoyed about this Event:
1. The funky opening screen artwork – my favourite yet.
2. Being able to clear all buildings every day (because Neighbours weren’t required to tap) and thereby increase my bank balance.
3. Complete lack of interest in the craftables and characters/skins meant I had no dog in this fight so was able to basically take the time off.
Sorry folks, I’m not sending Lawyers to up your Bonuts.
I’m sending them to enhance neighbors getting Cletus.
Not enough time to get another round my self, so my stages are empty and everyone is resting, awaiting the Update.

I cleared my musicians. Won’t get another Bonut Round unless I WAY DELAY update, so I’m letting them rest. So that I can update with clarity.
I’ve been madly sending lawyers to those neighbors close to finishing the Quest line. Sorry folks, I’m ignoring your Bonuts, and aiming for getting folks Cletus.
And I’m NOT. Buying the dancing ‘robot’ I shan’t fill THAT character group.
