As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Now that the Homerpalooza event has ended, I thought it would be a good time for another Springfield Showoff! This time featuring your Homerpaloozical designs, as it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? I love the entries with the stages placed on Squidport…if I ever get enough tiles again, I’ll move my Pop Stage to a new Squiddy wing. The yellow Submersible keeps bringing me ornate tiles…16 and counting (compared to 7 wood tiles)…this may take a while😝.

The designs look awesome but am I correct in thinking there is no benefit to keeping these items on display? I.e. No bonus or income? I like to design but after being happy with my airport design which (I don’t think rewards much) I don’t think I can “afford” the real estate space.
I think you’re on the right track…my event displays last only as long as the event. If the new stuff can’t be worked into my town, it generally gets stored…that way, I can use the same area over and over. If the items have a bonus XP%, I try to find a them a home… but even then, not everything always gets to stay out. I am a little confused why some folk’s towns have multiples of some items just stacked up or all in a row, when they have no multiplier and bring in no income…it’s a mystery to me 😳.
I’ll stack up decorations when I’m planning a design for an area. I prefer to get out everything I want to use, instead of constantly rummaging through the terrible inventory system. Oh if we could only have a keyword search! Unfortunately, I sometimes procrastinate on designing areas so the decoration piles last for months. I only got around to organising the Pagan Xmas stuff into my Halloween area last week. Homerpalooza is just a pile of decorations & buildings, and likely will be for another month or so
To each their own . To a lot of people the benefit is having a cool part of town regardless if it brings a bonus or not.
Mind blown by the creativity of some of our tappers. I’m gonna let myself be inspired by some of these amazing designs. I nuked my town just before Homerpalooza and right now it’s a jumbled mess. I was hoping to have time to rebuild but this new event is throwing a wrench in my carefully laid out plans… I have to get out all of my bonus items out of storage as well because I need to do some KEM-farming to replenish my donuts — Homerpalooza and the new event cleaned me out and I need to stock up before Halloween hits.

I think Brooders wins the prize for best use of crowds (although I love the one with the wall-to-wall crowds — and one pig. I thought the crowd at Maison Derriere was funny, too.
I think we should have a show-off or contest (or something) to see all the different funny ways people can think of to use their new crowds!

Walking Dead… the zombies are at the gates!
Can’t wait for halloween…and a return of the walking dead. Didn’t buy it last year (kinda creeped me out), but I regret it every time I see the zombies. Would be nice if they could expand on the concept to include all the animals 💀😼💀🐶…especially Plopper 💀🐷👍😱.

Wow! So many awesome concert venues! It was really fun checking them all out in detail
