It’s nearly Fall in Springfield and of course, that means it’s time for Fall Harvest! Nothing says Fall Harvest quite like a good old County Fair! A nice relaxing way to slowing bring Springfield back to normal after the crazy music fest! But of course a new event, no matter how small, means our stores are now jam-packed with premium items just tempting us to drop our sprinkles on!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Hootennany Barn (and Luke Stetson), Tuxedo Krusty, Brandine, Bare Chested Willie, Old Simpson Farm House, Springfield Farmer’s Market, Sneed’s Feed and Seed or Willie’s Tractor to your Springfield? My Opinion On It Now: Buy. Anytime you can get a character/building combo for 100 donuts or less it’s a must buy. Buy him.

My Opinion On It Now: Eh. Take it or leave it. Krusty has a bunch of costumes now it’s just another one for the collection. If you’re pressed for donuts I’d pass.

My Opinion On It Now: Pricey, but she’s always a highly requested character. She’s been back in the game a few times now, but people still ask for her. So if you want her, now’s your change to grab her.

My Opinion On It Now: Like Tuxedo Krusty, it’s a take it or leave it. Premium costume for Willie but pricey. If you’re pressed for donuts, pass.

My Opinion On It Now: Pass. 70 donuts is too pricey for this one.

My Opinion On It Now: Meh. Bonus % isn’t great for donuts spent & it really doesn’t do much. So unless you really want it, pass.

I picked up the Hootenanny barn & like their placement arrangements in both my towns @100 donuts for a building/ full character combo that’s a bargain.
I’ve too may skins for other returning characters that came free with events to ever buy more! I’d just pass on such items if you are Freemium or want to save donuts. (I wasn’t offered them, as I already have them & am majorly miffed Tuxedo Crusty has lost his longer tasks – Why is that?) When he’s not doing monorail tasks I usually have him in that skin – Strut around town.
Brandine; However; Is a must buy! I have had her for ages in both my towns & she is helpful with metal / garbage collection on the monorail tasks; whilst also being able to give birth to 3 x Spruckler kids (NPC’s that earn cash every 4hrs) I liked the County Fair event. Not too stressful & some nice looking buildings for my 2 Springfields)
Personally, I think the old Simpson farm house is great as a Halloween building. Like an abandoned house. I currently have bramble hedges and a spooky shed with mine and it works fairly well. It’s been over a year since I’ve played or even visited addicts and I just got back into the game and I’m so glad that the site is still going. You guys are the best.

What about the rebate deal for the sleep eazy motel and Miss Springfield? I’m considering it but always love to see what you guys think too…

Yeah i saw that. It wasn’t hard to spot for me because that is the only premium outfit I have for Krusty. What I am guessing and hoping is that after the mini event is over it will be restored. (So praying he wont lose to two tasks).
Tuxedo Krusty is my go-to costume for him, too. Hope EA resolves this soon…

I really like her. I had her pregnant for 9 months and she gave me not 1, not 2, but 3 babies! And now she helps me with the Monorail as well.
What I would do is get her and then farm to build up as many donuts as I could for Halloween. I’ve had her for awhile and haven’t regretted it at all.

I have never bought it just because it has to big a footprint. Now if maybe EA gave characters jobs there then I would have found it more appealing.
You mean the one from the Vault for 125 Donuts ? The Bonus % Value is not so great with 4,5 and it’s very big, but if you can afford it and love the design, then buy it. I had it in my Vault this week, too (and hesitated), but in the end I bought it and am happy every time I see it 😉

I earned the Farmers Market during the original event and iirc stored it during a redesign a while back. Can’t find it in my inventory anymore, too bad, it would fit perfectly with the rural theme right now.
Saw in other comments, Brandine helps with the Railyard. Metal is so often my bottleneck, i am now considering to get her, even though she is not discounted and I had spent my last donuts on Mary.
I’m not a big fan of Luke Stetson, but only being 100 donuts for a combo is hard to pass up. So got him.
Debating whether or not to get old Simpson farm. I love the county fair look as a midwestern kid but idk how it’ll look in my Springfield.
See if any of your neighbours have it. Best way to see an item you’re on the fence about.
I’ve had that building in my town for awhile now and love the look of it. I had placed mine next to Cleatus’ farm and put shrubs and debris around it for that dilapidated look. I think if you have a rural/ farming or dilapidated sections in your town it would fit right in.
How sure are you that brandine helps with the monorail???
Quite sure. She earns 15 metal pieces every hour or 75 junk every 30 seconds.
Brandine helps with the monorail? If she can straighten out curve track, she’s worth twice that price.
I like the hootenanny barn but am undecided because of the similarities between it and the final prize and I don’t want particularly want the character. I shall continue to mull.

Probably not for a little while. The key is to space them out and to make the readers really want them.
I’ve picked up the Simpson’s Farm, Brandine, and Mary. I’ll probably pick up Amber too. I think the farm is a pretty good deal for the income it brings in.

NPCs.
Generally (with a few exceptions) if a character is less than 80 donuts, it’s an NPC. If the 4 were playable characters, they’d probably go for over a couple hundred donuts.

Well, my family has been in farming for years and so I have most of these items already. I don’t have the feed store yet so maybe…KEM farming might help get that one.

They took away tuxedo krusty’s 12 hour job of strut around town. So now there is no preomium payout for any of his skins on a 12 hour job. 😡

I already had most of the items. I had just talked myself into TSTO’s crudest joke Sneed’s last time when the clock ran out on me and I missed it so I was glad to see it back. There’s even a nice little spot open in my Bloodbath Gulch over the fence from my Wilted Rose brothel and 24 HR wedding Chapel. Perfect. Now the only things I don’t have are the skins for Krusty and Willie, meh, pass on those again.
Might pick up Luke, I won three lots of 20 donuts on a Scratch Card, so I’d only be down 40 donuts. Also, other people will probably point it out too, but you said they leave September 2nd, when they leave October 2nd. Sorry lol just letting you know.
