Should I Spend Donuts on Turn Your Head and Coif?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s nearly Fall in Springfield and of course, that means it’s time for Fall Harvest!  Nothing says Fall Harvest quite like a good old County Fair! A nice relaxing way to slowly bring Springfield back to normal after the crazy music fest!  But of course a new event, no matter how small, means our stores are now jam-packed with premium items just tempting us to drop our sprinkles!

Of course with that limited-time label, it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Turn Your Head and Coif to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this hair salon to your town…

Building/Decoration: Turn Your Head and Coif
Donut Cost: 60 Donuts
Earns: $135,15xp/4hrs
Size:
4×7
Conform-O-Meter:
Vanity +200

Leaves stores September 26th

Pros
-Marge has a permanent 2hr task there (get Fixed Up earns $175, 40xp)
-Animated when in use, lights turn on and there’s a silhouette in the window of someone getting a haircut

Cons
-A bit pricey for a stand-alone building

Final Thought
Premium:
It’s a fun building, comes with a permanent task for Marge & has a relatively small footprint…not a bad buy. The only real downside is the price tag.  While not super expensive, still a bit high for a stand-alone.  But overall, as a premium player, I’d pick it up.

Freemium:
Pass.  While it meets the criteria (except in price) for premium buildings (task, small footprint) it’s still a Freemium pass.  Save your donuts for characters or the upcoming Halloween Event.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I picked it up, I like the idea of Marge having a task there.  But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the dialogue it comes with…

Style Guide
Marge starts

Marge: Ooo, finally an alternative to Jake’s!  Now when one places messes up my hair, I don’t have that gut-wrenching decision of whether or not I say something. I’ve got another place to go to complain and get it fixed at the same time!
Make Marge Get Hair Fixed Up- 2hrs, Earns $175, 40xp

  1. 💜 this Building
I’m going to wait for it’s return at Discount 😉

  2. MydadlookslikeFlanders

I bought Brandine Spuckler and am saving for Halloween now

  3. If you’ve updated to ios11 and are now having problems with TSTO can you indicate what device you are using (iPhone/iPad/old/new). This would really help the rest of us waiting to update understand whether this is a general issue with iOS 11 or whether it’s only affecting older devices. Thanks 🙂

  4. Nice to see Marge involved in something for a change.

  5. Ok this is a new problem. Just got the farm. The dialog between Lisa, Quimby and Moe is stuck on a loop. Can’t play. It’s doing it on my phone and blue stacks. Any suggestions?

  6. Pass. I’ll save those doughnuts for Halloween.

  7. The building was TINY. =/

  8. It’s nothing spectacular but it is another unique building for my town so I got it.

  9. This was a typo. 🙂

  10. I downloaded iOS 11 yesterday, and now every time I go to play TSTO, I have to download the entire game and log into my account afterwards. Anyone else have this problem?

  11. Since the iOS 11 update, I’m not getting notifications, which is actually really annoying

  12. A permanent task and small footprint. That’s what I’ve been waiting to hear! Off to buy me a new building. 🙂

  13. I put it next to Julio’s shop…a little friendly competition…

  14. My game has been down for 2 days now…cant connect to server

    • Do you happen to have an iPhone and updated to IOS 11? My wife updated to IOS 11 last night, and TSTO wouldn’t open for her. She had to remove and reinstall the game completely for it to work. If you do n’t have iPhone, or didn’t update to IOS 11, perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling again? Not sure what else the problem could be.

  15. I love this one, but am passing! If it was say 30-40 donuts, probably would have, but with Halloween coming, just can’t lol. Have a lovely day everyone! : )

  16. Try another browser with that link. It might that the security of your browser is too tight.

  17. Anyone having trouble logging into your EA account/accessing TSTO? I am locked out of both since yesterday, when I received an email from EA saying my password has been reset because of suspicious activity. The message included a URL to change my password, but the URL does not work (I get a “too many redirects” error). I’ve tried using the sign-in link on the EA site, hoping to just use their “forgot password” link, but that link just hangs. (Yes, I’ve contacted EA and awaiting assistance; just wondered if anyone else is having this issue.)

    • I had that happen to me today with the EA reset password email as you said. I did the forgot password thing and I’m back in. Try going to the reset password link directly below or Google it to get the same link:
      https:// signin. ea. com /p/ web/ resetPassword

      • I had been trying that but getting “this page has redirected you too many times” errors on Chrome and on Firefox, I just got failure to load. I’ll try again, though. Good to hear you could resolve it.

        • Although I continued to be unable to get into the sign-in page in Chrome and Firefox, I decided to try it on Internet Explorer–and it worked! I’m back in!
