Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! Now that we’re nearing the end of the County Fair Update (ends Tuesday), we’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff and we want you to show us what you’ve done! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
The next Showoff will feature your County Fair/Springfield Farm designs! So use the rest of the week, and the weekend, to polish up those fall festival areas and show us how creative you’ve been with the County Fair stuff! Send in your designs and we’ll be putting up the Showoff Post featuring your designs on Tuesday, September 26th.
So finish up those designs and grab some screenshots of your town…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Monday September 25th can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
IF you Email your submissions please put Showoff County Fair in the subject line, and make sure your photos are in JPEG or PNG format..please. Also, be sure your submissions are in on time.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

I probably should have waited until my Corn Maze was more complete, but you can see where I’m going. I also used a stitching app that cut a little out.

Have the original Addicts/Moderator’s ever posted thier towns in a show off? Aka the person(s) approving this post..Think it would be interesting. Bragging rights up for grabs the best Halloween design post 2017 event. OA’s Original addicts included. Lol.

I’m going to wait until Sunday before submitting my design when Deep Space Homer items get removed, incase Homer’s Chilliad returns and I can add the Pro Shop to my design..

I just started designing the fair and still waiting on getting the farm, however, I do not know what other items could be added with to the fair from previous updates. Off topic, has anyone noticed that the fence that cost cash from the Homerpalooza event is under the decorations section of the store, is it permanent now? If it is then I really want EA to re-release the velvet rope from the time travel toaster and make it permanent since I didn’t buy as many as I wanted.
Just noticed this also (well done EA) but also agree with you about the ropes!
Every time you happen upon an item just like fences or walls during an event BUY. BUY TONS! You’ll never know if and when you need it. Bought TONS of velvet ropes and festival fences as well… And devils donuts. And some (yes, only SOME) US-flags 😛

The velvet rope is one of the few limited time cash items from events that I did not buy many of probably because there was no timer on them when they were released, I really like the devil float being used as part of the county fair and the farm looks really great with the crops around it.
