What would Wookie’s least favorite episode be if not for “Everyman’s Dream”?
I never had one before that episode honestly.
The only other episode I do not watch is Lisa the veterinarian. It’s an okay episode, but I can’t watch stuff when animals die, even cartoon animals. How sappy is that?
Greetings from Disneyworld Orlando! I’m at a conference this weekend, so can’t watch live, but just wanted to say “Hi”. And that I’m enjoying the ease of the event. I unlocked the second last prize last night. I’m going to Disneyworld tonight and Universal Studios tomorrow. Back to moderating comments regularly on Monday.

I’m not into Harry Potter, but don’t hate it. So I voted, “meh.” Would have loved more of a trick or treaty Halloween event. It’s really sweet the beasts give out extra prizes once they are enchanted. Hoping Acts 2 and 3 are a little more interesting … and friend tasks where you can help your friends come into play. Like Patric said in his post, right now friend tasks are no not necessary. Since theyre time consuming and don’t help my friends, I’ve mostly skipped them except when they’ve been part of a daily challenge. Thanks for all you do, Alissa, Patric, Super Safi and Wookie!!! Hope you get all the treats!!
I really enjoyed the episode, found it very funny BUT it was really random and quite stupid. No explanation behind it all, annoyed me.
Definitely wasn’t as bad as the “Every Man’s Dream” premiere episode
Going with the getting to the root theme, is the value of the game to EA declining, meaning less revenue for them? That seems to be the consensus. It would then make sense that they devote less resources to the game which then could be leading to the decline in new content and interesting themes and game play.
Now I really want a Nightmare Cafeteria event – can definitely see some few ideas that EA could have done. Like this event but not it as the Halloween event – would as been better as a separate mini-event
They should add a magician skin for Mrs.Krabbabel, a headless horseman skin for krusty and the toothpeople

Pat is right. The bugs kind of gave me a nostalgia feel for how bad it used to be. Like part of me liked it. Made me smile.
Christmas last year SUCKED and I hope they get this Christmas right

If EA could get the launch of an event right.. it would help. However it was hilarious watching comments come in and people losing their minds on the site.

Actually watching this episode has changed my opinion on this event – I’m enjoying the content but definitely agree that it’s not dark and I like to be scared. Sorry if I came across as annoying – I see everyone’s point!

I am a POTTERHEAD and love this event, but I agree, it could be a nonHalloweenISH episode very easily. I relate to it as Halloween, but I am dressing as full blown Hufflepuff for Halloween, so…..
And wth is Angelica Button?
Could she be any relation to the book 📚 loving Hermione? I see the resemblance 😂
Is this ea’s way of kindly easing us addicts off the game before the end it? A way of being nice to the addicts instead of making every go cold turkey? I am joking a bit, but not really. Is this beginning of the end?

Quite a lot of content from this event is from WizKidz which is a THOH segment – I just think the tone is annoying some people and I think if the overall tone was darker and they played with magical darkness (dementors haunting the town etc.)
I missed the beginning…came in at the end of when Kyle was being introduced….who is Kyle? Should I know him? Hi, Kyle! 🙂

I think it’s no surprise that I’m enjoying this event because I find it so cool that an idea that I once had is in my game.
I’m not a massive Halloween fan so I don’t mind that it feels Halloweeny because upcoming content looks great, looking forward to designing my Hogwarts area, love the capturing beast element and respect EA for trying something new, especially with so little classic content left.

I DO think there is little classic THOH content left. There are SO many segments but there is a reason that there are some segments people don’t like and that’s because they don’t feel scary so pulling through those segments would spark the same “non-halloweeny” tones!
What other THOH content could you think of?
My answer isn’t available…I like it and it is Halloween-y, but I wouldn’t say the more HP the better…
I love Halloween events, period. However, some of the stuff EA’s offering is stuff I (& I’m sure others) already have in our games!
I already have Werewolf Flanders, the bell tower, flying bats, covered bridge, dark carriage, hanging streetlamps, vampire casket, pyres, forest cave, spooky brambles, & wolf rock – why are all these items our crafting goals? Did people complain to EA they didn’t get enough during the last Halloween event, or were they just unwilling or unable to make up new stuff??
I’d take another Dark Carriage… If you could have more than one! 😣

I really wanted to see the kids trick or treating this year, EA disappointed again. I had the same thought as stone6040, I also wished the nightmare pile worked like the zombie sandwich, I would love that! Not a true Halloween feel this year, feels like an event but just not a Halloween event. Not sure if this is a plus or a minus but the event has the feel like I’m playing but also taking a break. When you log in every four hours you barely have to do much of anything. I truly wish that buildings we got in past holiday events would get used every year, like that Halloween headquarters building for example. Seasonal jobs at those kinds of buildings don’t necessarily need to earn event currency as long as non-essential characters get to animate the building again.
I miss the dark rivers and water. It just gave Springfield a spookier feel during Halloween. Perhaps in another act? One can always hope….
The crafting sucks. If you’re a long time player you own most of crafting items. Visiting neighbors towns is the same old grind trying to find 3 monsters in large towns is not fun it’s time consuming. I do like the mystery box. There’s some great deals in there.
Yes. This is what I’ve found annoying about tapping neighbors towns. I wish there was a better way because if someone has a huge town you’re spending a lot of time searching.
What is the fourth icon supposed to be under where the prizes, crafting and beasts are or are there only supposed to be 3 tabs there?
This event is not particularly Haloweenish but I suppose it sort of is. I do miss kids Trick or Treating. If Nighmare Pile worled like Zombie Sandwich it would really help make this feel like Haloween. When I first bought it I thought it would. Disappointed then, disappointed now. Please change that, EA. It would go a long way with many of us.
