Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Fall has arrived and there’s a haze over our Springfield’s, that can only mean one thing….it’s Halloween in our pocket-sized towns! This year EA’s thrown a little magic into the mix, with an Angelica Button theme invading our towns. We’ve got beasts to battle, creatures to capture, wizards to wand wave and goblin gold to gather! Quite a few alliteration altercations huh?
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the first act, you’re tasked with collecting Wands (
) to unlock each prize!
The seventh Act 1 Prize awarded at 10,200 is the Unicorn Wizard, because Wookiee really,really, REALLY wanted to see a Unicorn in the forest….
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 10,200 you’ll automatically be awarded the Unicorn and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place the Unicorn in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it later. But I wouldn’t store it…he’ll help fight beasts for Act 2…
Once placed you’ll see his character unlock message appear…
And he’s part of the THOH XXVII Adults Character Collection…
Once placed the Unicorn also comes with a very short questline, here’s a look…

Make Unicorn Wizard Cast Glitter Hoof- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
And yes, you can wait until the event is over to complete the questline..BUT it’s only 2 parts and once you’ve unlocked the Unicorn you’ve finished the Act 1 prize track. So personally, I’d just finish his questline before Act 2 starts to clear it from your task book (it’s not like the questline earns event currency)
The Unicorn Wizard does come with a limited set of tasks, here’s a look…

And yes, as mentioned above, the Unicorn Wizard will Clear/Fill Mana for Beast/Troll Battles. He earns the freemium rate of 1/2 Mana/4hrs.

What’s Next?
As long as you’ve finished the Main Questline for Act 1 you can continue to earn Bonuts until Act 2 starts.
Beyond that, nothing until Act 2 starts next Tuesday. Just work on those side questlines and earn bonuts and be ready for more wizard wand waving during Act 2….

since i’ve completed everything on Act1, and everythingl is stuck for me at the moment. i’ll just rest until Act2 begins. … <33333 so happy.
I’m so glad the Unicorn Wizard is a funny playable Character (and not an NPC) …. the visible tasks are lol worthy – earning Premium Rates on Event related Tasks is a plus (thank you EA for doing something right)👍
I was visiting another Springfield when I received the Unicorn Wizard and haven’t been able to locate it in inventory or thru the Town Hall. Has anyone else experienced this?
Try going to one of the monster enchantment screens. They contain a list of all the characters able to do it, the Unicorn Wizard should be there. Click the “Go to” button and it should you bring right to it.
No love shown in the monster menu either. I’m disappointed and hoping for a fix soon.
I’m really happy with the prize track right now actually.
As a freemium player with very little time to log in and collect for events due to working two jobs, I tend to miss out on getting prizes before acts end. Halloween is always my favorite, and this year despite getting a late start I already got the unicorn with a day to spare!
So I’m thankful for the easier to earn prize tracks. It feels like players like me are given more consideration.
Plus those who finish early, how about the bonuts? For once I’m getting a shot at those too!
Super happy with everything but crafting so far. I have most of the stuff you can only get one of (love Werewolf Flanders) so it’s not a huge deal to me, but it feels hard to get enough goblin gold to craft with. But I’d rather get the prizes anyway!
I can’t believe they didn’t let us enchant with Werewolf Flanders… seems like a huge missed opportunity. Hopefully it’ll be an option for subsequent Acts.
Can someone please explain enchanting and capture to me. I only have three characters that will help with event an I have a lot of premium from last Halloween. Still looks like I will get the Unicorn but wish I could send more characters on this task
Have you read this post here on Beast Enchanters? Basically send your three characters over and over to capture Kearneymom, then send them over and over to Enchant Kearneymom, then do the same for the next beast.
I was pleasantly surprised about this act. I was away on holiday, and got started a few days late, so figured I wouldn’t complete the level. Just logging in 3-4 times a day, I got the unicorn yesterday.

I just unlocked him today and a little disappointed with the indoor tasks but at least he can help with the event.
Wonderpikachu mentioned there is a 12 hour task, and I’ve got the following 1hour task that seems permanent – requires a gazebo -…

Try browsing the whole inventory, not only character section. That’s how I met my Unicorn Wizard.
I have the same problem under the same circumstances. Have searched my entire inventory to no avail. Have not heard back from EA yet. Seems like this should be an easy fix. Even tried logging out and signing back on. Anyone else besides me and Joe”
Didn’t get it either, got a stone sofa with a bottle and a microphone and it did say that I had completed act one !
It just magically appeared !!!!
Found it in my inventory this morning. Maybe EA fixed it. I searched all of the inventory areas last night, but saw nothing. Today it was in the default area of my inventory when I opened it. Hope this helps others.
So I earned him, had him out, and saw something about how he might earn currency. He was about 2 hours into a 4-hour task, so I stored him to cancel it. Went into my inventory…and he’s gone. Looked under characters and then full inventory. He’s nowhere.
Currently on the phone with EA…unfortunately with someone who doesn’t seem to know anything about the game. Which is fine…I used to work on a help desk and didn’t know everything. Just wish he wouldn’t keep asking me to repeat the problem…on the 5th time explaining it.

Try to locate him via the monster enchantment screen. There should be a “Go To” button to find him.
Pretty much stopped playing until act 2. Saving currency, working away at unicorn’s tasks.
How many daily challenges can you bank? Can you get to Tuesday with 4 or 5 challenges or is 3 the max?

Keep 3 of them total now. But change them to try to line up 600 wand rewards. This could give you a jump on act 2, out of the gates with 1800 of whatever the next event currency is.

EA really messed with the time table and payout for this Act. I was done with over a week left. I hope Act 2 is spaced out better. I’m out of characters to capture and enchant. I finished the quest lines too for new characters. I did not buy Burns dragon.
I bought Burns Dragon, but he added only few hours of task.
I am also sitting on a week of thumb-twiddle time.
I’m Ok with it as it’s bonut time for me. Between the rail yard and this, I should have a ton stacked up for the Christmas event – or in case ‘Ol Gill actually brings a good deal.
I love the unicorn wizard it’s tasks are quite unique and the short quest line was quite funny. A plus it will come in handy come act 2 especially when we don’t know what will totally be involved until Tuesday besides crawl and bully-vern.
Wow, that is a VERY limited set of tasks (although mine also says “Bet on Dog Races” for 12 hrs?). At least most of his tasks are animated by technicality, but this is a bit underwhelming for a final prize in a prize track.
Is it just me or does it taker forever to accumulate the goblin gold? Or the prices in the market are crazy high? Am I missing something to generate and collect more gold? I’m freeium but have Angelica and SVT skin, but its slow going. Just want to make my faux castle =)
Sort of, but it is spread over all three acts.
It’s odd to me that most of the prizes are returning items you can only have one of. Pretty underwhelming for an event that polls as the general favorite of all events.

It’s taking forever to get the bonuts as well. I use to get a round of bonuts a day on other events, but it’s taken me three days for one round. Slow going☹️

I really thought this was going to be a skin for two-Nicorn. So glad I was wrong.
Not everyone has two-Nicorn, (I don’t… yet) so it probably wouldn’t have made sense for it to be a skin. But I agree; I’m also glad it’s a full character in its own right. I just hope they pad out that task list a bit, when the event is over.
