My Opinion On It Now: 1% bonus for 10 donuts is a really good deal. Grab one or two if you’re looking to increase your bonus %.

What Does It Do?: Sea Captain has a task there (Swab the Deck), animated when in use.
My Opinion On It Now: Pricey, but I like this more than a Whale. If you’ve wanted it and have the donuts, buy it. Otherwise, pass. It’s not a must buy, by any means.

Ghost pirate air ship appeared for me today for this year’s THOH event. 250 donuts with 75 rebate. Does it still come with blackbeard or no? I’d buy with blackbeard but hell no if it’s just the ship alone.
Do you see blackbeard in the store with it? If you do it comes with it, if not it doesn’t
I did not see blackbeard. That’s why i wanted to check before i made a decision.

Am I the only one who (having gotten a single tentacle tree way back in the day) isn’t being offered the opportunity to purchase more?
I am being offered the island, but not tentacle trees. I actually rather like the trees (aside from the bonus percentage), which is why I originally bought one long ago when my donuts were far more scarce!
Ah well, sometimes it pays to acquire early, sometimes not…

Alissa or Safi , what’s the trigger to get the sea capt. to start the ghost ship quest I’ve had it since the pirates but it never triggered. I’ve tried everything I can think of but there is something I’m missing. I also got a 30 donut mystery box this morning so I’m still happy today.
The Sea Captain should have automatically started. By “I’ve tried everything I can think of”, I assume you’ve tried storing the Pirate Airship in Inventory, you’ve tried storing the Sea Captain in Inventory, and you’ve tried storing both the Pirate Airship and the Sea Captain in Inventory simultaneously?
yep, tried all those things also kept all characters free in their costumes.
The trees are nice, but I couldn’t get too many of them as they look pretty out of place with the normal (non-Halloween themed) part of my town. I got the ghost pirate airship back with the Blackbeard combo at 150 donuts, so I dodged a bullet here.
Love the tentacle trea plus ten donuts for 1% is good so I bought several. I’m wondering, I’m not seeing the skin for the squeaky voice teen in the store. Did anyone else have this issue?
Did you click on “Get More” for donuts? His skin comes with the 60 donut real life cash app store purchase as discussed here.
Squeaky Voiced Peasant was only available during act 1 – he’s gone now.
I would normally say “meh” to any returning Premium that isn’t discounted …. but since the majority of the new Event Premiums are “meh” (well, I’ll be honest – this year’s Halloween Event has been “meh” to me) …. I say spend your sprinkles on whatever compliments your Springfield 👍

Buy some stuff from the Mystery Box. There’s some decent Halloween stuff in there. EA was really lazy with this event.
I wasn’t much of a fan of the island until I notice it looks like a face with burning eyes. Probably why you can’t stick anything on it.
I’ll probably buy a bunch of the tentacle trees for the bonus, however, they could look good around the power plant or in a Halloween area. I’m surprised that the island and the ghost ship don’t have a rebate on them yet considering that they appeared in the store a few times already.
Yep, already got the EXPENSIVE ghost ship last time.. Is next to my pirate ship and British ship and ship wrecks. And next to Hibert’s Island. And other assorted nautical stuff.
But the bestest is the Tentacle tree. And hi king of getting four total and adding them to my Spuckler farm. Already growing squares of pumpkins and lavender and other stuff. Why not a square of Tentacle Trees?
I got the Ghost Pirate Airship during the Time Traveling Toaster event whenever it had a 75 donut rebate. Made for a much better deal. Picked up a few tentacle trees and might get a few more tomorrow.

Got the ghost pirate airship as part of the pirate part of the toaster event, and have never had sea captain’s task activate. Is it still just me?
I have the same problem. Is there a way to activate the sea captain’s task after all this time?

Me neither!!! People keep saying they have tasks for the captain, but I don’t have them…
I was hoping thEAy would free up the quest line to unlock the task for the sEA captain. But alas, EA has better things to do. I still love that I got it for 175 donuts during the Toaster event. 250 donuts is insane!

Gosh! After the rebate with Blackbeard (175D net) in June I thought the Airship would be cheaper in the future… OK, it’s a 4h-building (60-70D EA standard price), gives 5% bonus (5x20D=100D EA standard price) AND looks awesome (30-50D for that, what-the-heck-ever EA is charging for pure awesomeness).
I’d instabuy for 150D.
190-220D could be appropriate (at least by means of EA), more is definitely pricey IMHO.
I swear I paid half that for the ship (don’t remember when I bought it but I already had it when it was being offered during TTT). It amazes me how the prices on these things fluctuate.
Very good. I propose we (and by that I mean Safi) come up with a Donuts per percentage chart. Like the tentacle tree is 10DPP (about as good as it gets) and the Ghost Pirate ship is 50DPP, which is about as bad as it gets. I mean even the whale is 43DPP.
I think it gives a good idea of what you’re getting. And I know I’m the pain the butt that always says that 40 donuts for 2% is actually really good and not the norm by any means on these SIB posts.
But it might be really helpful for hose wondering how to best use their sprinklies.

I have found the best DPP value is the 6 donut Burns mystery box. I usually get 3% (news vans and billboards) and get back 10-30 donuts. My best so far was 2 news vans, a billboard and 30 donuts in a 10 box buying spree.
