Just a reminder that Act 1 of the Halloween/THOH/Magical Event/Angelica Button Event/Harry Potter Event…whatever the heck you wanna call it…Ends TOMORROW October 17th at 0800 GMT (4am ET).
Once the Act 1 is over you will no longer be able to earn Wand Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember to keep earning wands if you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when the next Act starts…)
Crafting will STILL be available in the next Act As will the Goblin Gold you’ve accumulated.

Earning Bonuts easily has been the only plus to this Event (it’s not Halloween themed, so I’m not calling it Halloween 2017) 😀
is anyone else having trouble with the pop-ups? i can’t activate the tower to collect trolls. i can’t activate both my beasts to be released. my IRS bldg lvl 8 blasts to collect isn’t working >>> i have to tap each bldg one at a time. i can’t even craft. what is going on??? i still have 4 hours before the next act starts and i can’t do anything on my tabby.
Happens to me a lot lately – usually going to the friend screen/Krustyland and back helps, or a hard close & restart.
thank you for the reply. i had to store my IRS bldg, wait an hour, then remove it from storage again before it reset the game popups. i can finally start up my bldgs again! [trainyard, playdough factory, excavation site, go-kart track, springfield downs, unemployment office, crosswalk, cheddarbarrel farm, etc.] i did try collecting tickets, going back; then to collect neighbor dust and back, but it didn’t reset until i stored my IRS bldg. *oh well, as long as they are working again. 🙂

My 2 Cents: Vapid doesn’t even begin to describe this event, maybe act II will be better but highly doubt it. Before you can craft a three act play begin with a one act like The Zoo Story then move onto your 3 act, Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf both by Edward Albee. I feel like I’m stuck in a high school production of the latter. And speaking of crafting, these items suck bigger than a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Rant over.

I got an 8 hour 1 donut task for Burns for latest task. He should be finished by 4pm AESDST (Aust Time – Melbourne) I’ve 2 x 200 wand earning tasks completed & waiting to claim when the new act drops 7pm my time.
Don’t know if EA toned down the requirements for this event but I got all the prizes with barely trying, only logging in once maybe twice a day. Looks like the prizes are getting better in the next acts so I suppose it was nice to get a break from grinding
Anyone get any goblin gold from the daily tasks? Mine has been nothing but wands (happy with lots of wands but I have some work to do on my castle!)
No Goblin Gold but I did get a 3 donut task which I thought was odd during an event.
I do hope crafting currency becomes easier to get…..
I wouldn’t mind getting everything that’s new..but the costs currency wise are ridiculous.
Agreed. Most of my gold will be used to level up instead of crafting.
It’s not either/or! Buying crafting items will still level you up by the amount of gold you spent on them. So, unless you actively don’t want any of the items until you hit a certain level, you might as well get something for the gold while you’re leveling up!!
Craft..craft..craft. It all goes to leveling up. I’ve noticed there is rollover. Might as well get decorations as you level up to get what you want, even if it stays in inventory, you will find a use for it later
yeah agreed I’m on lvl 4 lol but unlocked the unicorn days ago..
I took a couple of days leave from the event after I finished the prize track. A couple of donuts is just not worth the effort of collecting 5000 wands…
I forgot an event was going on. When act 2 starts I hope I remember what the whole thing is all about..
Hey all, just a reminder that the tentacle tree has a great % bonus value right now. With the rebate, it’s 10 donuts for 1%. Tied with best in the game. It’s going away in 2 days, 1 day after the new act launches.
My plan is to check out what new premium items are offered tomorrow, then buy a ton of these guys with what I have left. Should hopefully help with KEM farming.

I know it was available for like 90 donuts or something like that, is it gone or am i just missing it?

After capturing/enchanting creatures, is there any way for characters to earn wands through tasks?
Not currently. (outside of Bart and Lisa’s side questline)
I still don’t understand why they removed the capturing and enchanting of Treestache.
Can you release him, like the others? In my game, I can still release him, since I finished the Capturing/Enchanting.
Same – I’m on the Release phase, so I can’t check to see if they removed the other phases (which would be odd).
I didn’t get him until a few days ago, and I’m currently able to capture him, because he’s being captured right now.
If you haven’t already done them, you need Homer to complete two 4 hour tasks that are Treestache’s questline before you can use him in the event – as detailed in the Addicts walkthrough…

Today my daily task prize was yoga mats for making yoga mats. I canceled that and its celebrities to Krusty Burger for a donut. Guess I’ll take the donut, but weird.?.
Very weird. I have tried to get non-wand prizes by cancelling the same task multiple times. Wands wands wands. I thought they had made it so daily tasks during events were always event currency.
Yes I canceled my daily task today also and got a donut earning one.
I have the other 2 daily task windows completed but won’t claim them until the new act starts.
