Did I miss the part of the Halloween event where the kids can go trick-or-treating?!?! (Besides the one at a time from the nightmare pile)
Is anyone else missing Greyscale from Act 2 Halloween? I have completed level 2 and he is ticked but nowhere to be found and not showing up in my character collection list?
You might want to contact EA about that.
Be sure to check your inventory on the main window, and scroll all the way to the end. Sometimes new characters are not classified as “character” yet, so they don’t show up in the character tab of the inventory.
I had one day where my claw machine was giving me 2 of the same prizes whenever I won. i’d place the first and there’d be a second waiting to be placed! Then it went away \ fixed itself :0(

Are you sure it wasn’t an item that you already had in storage?
It happened to me once with the Rabbit hedge.
But I think the 2nd 1 that appeared for me to place was 1 I had in my inventory box already.
My game “D” (no premiums), offers Pet Cemetary + Zombies (2 pets) for 90 donuts. But it doesn’t show up in games “B” or “C”, probably because I have one of the pets.
I got mutant rabbit. However, I am unable to send it on a 4 hour task. What am I missing?
I think its the natural history museum which is in the vault.
I believe it is the Museum of Natural History that unlocks his 4 hour task, it is the museum that cost 100 donuts and on its own, not the Springfield Museum that comes with Molloy that cost 150 donuts and both are in the vault.
I just emptied the Halloween mystery box to get the Nightmare pile. 😐. I also purchased a magic scratch off and won 100 donuts!
Just spent 5 donuts and purchased 5 Spooky Walls. — Why?
Because now my Bonus % ends in XX0.00

Because I just started donut farming a lot recently, my bonus percentage is still only 316%. Mystery boxes can get it up, but I don’t want to use too many donuts before Act 3 and Christmas. Any advice for getting the bonus percentage up? Thanks.
There is currently no way to increase your bonus percentage without investing donuts.
Keep sending Lisa to Conquer the Eliminator to get a Miniature Nuclear Warhead that comes with a 2.5% bonus. I just got one yesterday.
I would time my sending of Lisa – a 12 hour task, you never know when she might be needed in an event.
Besides getting a gift form launching the space shift, eating chilli, etc.

Duh’. How could I forget? I have a series of posts written on them that should be appearing over the next couple weeks.
I started KEM farming in April with 165% bonus.
Produced the S-H buildings from the inventory (+153% XP), built the beach hideaway (+100% XP/$ for 200 donuts all 5) and then bought Mystery Boxes, one each day. Coming over 300% has been a milestone for me 🙂
How much donuts do you harvest a day? Take a certain amount aside and buy MB. With the donuts from the MBs themselves one MB costs only 3 (three!) donuts!
Excel says my personal donut income is 82.78 D/d. 50 sprinkles saved for the game, 30 D for ten Mystery Boxes. On a losing day I spend 60 D, on a winning day I have a plus, but in the long run I spent 30 D a day.
Average bonus raise is 3.83%*). Donut income increases with bonus.
This week I’ll get 83.xx D/d, then I will buy 11 MB each day. And so on…
Thus bonus and donuts should increase faster and faster now.
Anyway, It’s been a long, long way to my now noticeable progress.
You could also spend all of your donuts into MB, but where’s the fun about farming when you can’t buy here and there from an offer or the vault… You’ll advance faster, though.
*) @Charles provided a list of mystery box items. The repeating sequence contains 180 MB, 69% bonus and 540 donuts (these halving the 6 D price).

Thank you very much! I harvest around 10 each day. I can try using just those, though it might be slow.
(just entered 83.22 D/d, so now it’ll be 11 MB/d)
At your stage of farming it feels cruel to spend nearly all of your crop in MB.
Buy one MB each day at 3 D (including the MB-donuts) and watch your growing income. Invest in houses. Build at least 24 KEM for the first 24 are the cheapest. Maybe in 2 months you are at 16 D/d. Or, with additional (and growing by bonus) income you build more KEM and have 20 D/d.
Maybe in another 2 Months your farm is slowly but noticeably inflating, you earn 32 D/d or even more. And the inflation is increasing like influenced by dark energy…
And then there is a burst of increasing outcome, 1 more donut/day in a couple of days, there’ll be a kind of flow upwards 😀
After half a year of farming I won’t expand any more, 3 rows of land filled with mostly white houses and 72 KEM. Now it’s bonus, bonus, bonus 🙂
Goal: 1,500% ore more.

Wondering if it’s just my game or is everyone having the following ‘glitches’ …
▪ Had a bunch of old quests from previous mini events cycle through
▪ Being able to collect Ribbons 🎀 [previous event] again from the Tire Fire and Fatov’s 3hr ‘Exercise’ task
▪ Having to re-unlock the character jobs in the Springfield Heights buildings for them to produce materials [i.e. furniture🛋, trophies🏆, pills💊, etc.]
▪ NOT be able to play the Claw Machine game for decorations, instead being rewarded Shoes 👟 [previous event] again
▪ NOT being able to tap the character icon 👦 in the corner to collect from or send on tasks quickly?
▪ NOT be able to make crosswalks ☰ at One Night Stan’s
▪ NOT be able to play the chili 🌶 game with Homer
▪ NOT be able to create monorail 🚝 tracks at the Rail Yard, instead brings me to the current event’s prize track when tapped
▪ Tap radius has been reduced back to original tiny circle, even after the IRS building has been fully upgraded to Fancy IRS [Level 9]
These are just some of the things I noticed in the last couple of weeks, there’s probably more I haven’t discovered yet … I was hoping to see an update from EA, but nothing. I also figured something might be posted here if it was wide spread, but nothing.
Now I’m curious if people are so wrapped up in the event they hardly noticed or care enough? Or it’s just my game because it happens on both my Samsung tablet [Android 6.0.1] and Samsung phone [Android 7.0] even after deleting my cache and files and reinstalling? Seems like it happened after the the minor update into Act Two.

I had same problems last year. EA said it was a corrupted save and they had to reset it to an earlier date. I lost progress and donut purchases. EA sent me 100 donuts to compensate. Hope your problem sorted soon
I had all the same stuff happen in my town probably about four or five months ago, along with earning Friend Points even though I’m done with the friend prizes, and Burns’ Money Mountain and World’s Tallest Redwood have been reduced to smallest version. A bunch of people posted the initial occurance on the EA forum at that time, so I’ve been waiting for a universal fix too.
My Chili mini game and the fountain/toll booth fixed from giving me coins when the mini-events came back before Halloween, but everything else you mentioned is still messed up for me. Rolling back to an earlier save is not an option for me because it has been too long.
Here’s hoping they finally fix it with the Halloween takedown in two weeks.
I am so ready for act 3. I’ve been finished act 2 for over a week, and I’ve completed all the crafting that the game let me since I have the majority of the items already.
I just really wish they had a little more variety on the items you earn for sending your monsters out. I have over 25 cases of mead, wedgie skeletons, bench, sword racks. Plus a bunch of the doughnuts, police cars being crushed by a boulder and golden dragon burns doing the dab.
So much of it is going to end up sitting in my vault.

Hi Mab! Hi everyone who isn’t Mab. Happy Sunday all. Finished Act II in my town and have been trying to help my husband to catch up in his. Been doing some redecorating in my town since the event is so laid back. Trying to uncluttered here, and bring stuff out there etc.
Non Tsto related: Love the garden pictures, already had a couple of hard frosts here. My kids are excited for Halloween, my 9 yr old made her own captain underpants costume and my 12 yr old is going as a cowgirl. Still haven’t landed a job yet, Monday am going to apply at the local university for a food service job. Surely I should land this one for sure. My faith has weathered me through harsher storms than this, although this time I also have the added benefit of a wonderful community of friends through this site. Well I am going to sign off, have a load of wash to put in the dryer before bed. Happy tapping.
Good luck with the job. If you are looking for food service, you might try your local hospital. Where I work they are paid well and the shifts are not too bad, early mornings, but no late nights.

Hey there tapperinos! I remember starting this game in 2014 and how I would grind for cash and never understand how someone would have enough money to buy the escalator to nowhere. Now, years later donuts or money never seems to be an issue. A huge payoff was being lucky enough on those premium scratches to win the top prize twice – which was a miracle in itself! The two times I won was when I only needed a small amount of donuts to get a premium item and I tried that and figured it’s only a buck. The 10 or so times I got nearly nothing was when I got greedy after winning a jackpot and wanted to try my luck again lol. I used those winning mainly for bonus % and then to grind donuts, and the rest has been history.
Fun questions – 1. What’s the biggest thing you used to sweat over when you first started tapping that is now completely easy? 2. Take a random guess on when you think the “collect all” button will be released. It will be fun to read this again and see who got closest after it is released!

Been an interesting few years….I nuked.my town 2 years ago after losing my dad, and have worked on it off and on….
I’m finally lately making headway on the designs….I just ripped out my squidport though, and am reworking it since we’ve gotten a lot of new water since I last redesigned it.
