It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that today is the Tiny Addict’s 2nd Birthday! Can you believe she’s 2 already? I know I can’t! We celebrated yesterday with a Minnie Birthday party (you can see some photos on my Instagram) and today we’re off to the zoo (after a breakfast of donuts, of course)!

And for those of you who love watching her grow..here’s her birthday video we did. A look back at the year from 1-2…
On the login page, at the lower-left it shows (for me) a silhouette of Bart, then my level and usename. Is there a way to change that silhouette avatar? I’ve seen screen-grabs that seem to show folks with shields or other graphics there. I’ve changed my profile pic already on EA/Origin, but that seems to be totally separate. (In case it helps, I normally play on an iPad or an Android phone.)

How? Sorry to be dense, but I’ve just been there, and I don’t see that option anywhere under the Profile, etc. What am I missing? Again, I’ve changed my profile pic already, just not the in-game avatar.
Looking at the myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/ page, if I edit my photo, i see “Upload Image” and “Avatar Gallery” – but those are for my Profile pic, right, not the in-game avatar (currently the Bart silhouette), which is what I wanted to change.
The double tap is awesome in Zombieland but not so much in Simpsons World! Anyone else have to double tap the green task buttons when sending a single character on a task (not bulk tasking)?

Alissa Mini-Me is now 2? Ohmigawd (Happy Birthday kiddo) she’s growing up so fast that she’ll be leaving behind a Maggie Simpson like style for a Lisa Simpson (somebody get her saxophone lessons) 👍

***READ!!!*** With the new Thanksgiving update there’s a wonderful bug. It’s giving out crazy XP points when you buy the new Thanksgiving Day balloons. You get more with Santa’s Little Helper. I went from level 280 to 510 when I activated the XP boost!! I level up after 4-5 SLH balloons. Take advantage before it’s fixed!
I am not sure this is flaw. SLH is $30,000, but you can’t sell it. You can buy and sell a blood mobile for $99,000 and you may get a better return for your XP.
A Bloodmobiles costs 150,000 and is sold at 25% of that which is 37,500, not 90,000.

Bloodmobiles are 132000, net cost 99,000. Rat traps are 150000.
5 of the SLH balloons are $150,000, same as a Rat Trap Truck. I leveled up once for 5 balloons, same as I level up once for a truck…no difference in xp gained. I also tried the Blinky balloon, same result…$150,000 spent gets one try for donuts (at my bonus% and with the collider on). Might be different for the balloon package selling for donuts (didn’t buy it), but the xp gain on the single balloons is the normal amount for any purchase.
Awww your little tiny tapper is so sweet! Happy belated birthday. My baby girl is 16.. *sniffle* and my baby boy will be 11 Dec 7th. Yikes. Times flies, enjoy every moment! So I have to say I am an Addict.. of this TSTO Addicts page. LOL. I’ve been playing a few years and found this site soon after. But wow I keep discovering new things ALL the time! Who knew? Sometimes this site is more exciting than the events themselves.. just sayin’ 🙂
For some reason the quest line “Cryogenics” just started. I cant complete it since I don’t have Jasper. Any ideas? Anyone else have random quest lines start up?
Yes, quest line started for me also. Since I have had Baseball Jasper in my inventory for seems like forever I dumped some donuts on him. Hopefully I won’t regret the decision come Black Friday.😥
Same thing happened to me, I also don’t have Jasper. I also have Fresh questline start for Sanjay’s teenage son, who I don’t have. I haven’t had time to report it, it’s a long hassle. Unfinished quest lines annoy me.
So much for the downtime. Upside… visiting friends again 😀
My bonus went down 5% and I haven’t stored anything. Does anyone know of something that either lost or lower their bonus?
Hi Mab. Hi everyone! Happy late birthday Riley! Sorry for the last post, life has really been keeping me on my toes. Just found out my cousin committed suicide over the weekend, and signed my kids up for the holiday thing so they will have Christmas. Just been one thing after another. My husband teases me when I get excited for making the Hi list and for for just being a part of this blog in general. Lol sometimes just keeping in touch here is part of what helps keep me going. Well happy tapping all and keep posting all of those pretty garden pictures. Love them.

I had a cousin and my father do the same thing. It sure isn’t easy but the pain lessens over time.
That video of Riley is filled with so much preciousness. Thank you for sharing, Alissa. Happy belated Birthday to miss Riley. I hope she’s feeling much better than a she was last weekend. My twin nieces are 13 and a half months now and it makes me more excited for Christmas than I have been in a long time (which says a lot, it’s my favourite Holiday. Christmas music got busted out after the Remembrance Day ceremonies on Saturday), to see them open presents. Or be totally mesmerised by all my sister’s decorating. They’d only been out of the NICU for about 6 weeks last year and really didn’t know what was going on.
Recently I noticed that in the Mystery Box the Lard Lad is not always preceded by 2 items that are not donuts, billboard, or van. Has anyone else? This will reduce the donuts to percentage, currently 9 or less per % for 100 donuts.
No idea… Haven’t bought one in quite a while…stopped buying them when I got to a bonus percentage I was happy with.
