Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Fall has arrived and there’s a haze over our Springfield’s, that can only mean one thing….it’s Halloween in our pocket-sized towns! This year EA’s thrown a little magic into the mix, with an Angelica Button theme invading our towns. We’ve got beasts to battle, creatures to capture, wizards to wand wave and goblin gold to gather! Quite a few alliteration altercations huh?
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the third act, you’re tasked with collecting Toad Princes (
) to unlock each prize!
The seventh (and final) act 3 Prize awarded at 31,200 is Count Dracula, because why not throw in a character that makes no sense with the rest of this update as the final prize…
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 31,200 you’ll automatically be awarded Count Dracula and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place the count in your Springfield or store him in your inventory for later.
Once placed in Springfield you’ll get his character unlock message…
And (depending on where you are with Montymort) he’ll complete the THOH XXVII Adults Character Collection:
Once in Springfield Count Dracula does come with his own questline. You’re good to complete it when it pops up since the Count adds no benefit for the event. Here’s a look at the quick version of the questline….

What’s Next?
Nothing. (unless you haven’t yet defeated Montymort) It’s just a waiting game now until the event ends. You can continue collecting to earn more bonuts until the event officially ends tomorrow. Beyond that, it’s a waiting game until the event ends Tuesday (the 14th).

Well, I loved the Harry Potter aspect but the length of time it took to defeat/enchant several characters took way too much time. Progressing at a snail’s pace got very dull very fast. When I did move forward it was often to get a prize I already had. It’s a good thing I like bats. And Dracula. I need one more donut and I’ll snap him up.

Now I know why this was the FINAL Prize (most Tappers would’ve quit this Event as soon as we got him)😋
Pretty excited- as I continue to earn Frog Princes, the donut requirement for Dracula is going DOWN!! I’m also continuing to work on Lord Montymort. I doubt I’ll defeat the latter, but Dracula is looking like a strong possibility now! 🙂
I think I hit Store accidentally, but can’t find him in my inventory. Where is he stored?

I’ve earned Dracula and it didn’t even give me the option to store him or place him…he’s nowhere! This also happened to me when I earned Ye Old Magick Shoppe…it’s nowhere also! I’m so mad!
i unlocked count dracula saturday but was clearing out the beasts missions when i said store count dracula but yet when i go into my storage i cant find him there 🙁

Sadly will have to spend donuts to get Dracula. Guess I should have kept doing the stupid beast jobs to get an over abundance of ugly, useless decorations that they reward. Pretty low of EA. They must have known that no one would want 20, 30, etc. toilets, wedgie skeletons, stone loungers, etc. So if you don’t want enormous amount of them, you have no choice but to spend donuts to get the last couple of prizes, which they hope would then result in spending real money for more donuts. I understand they have to make money somehow on the game, but this was really disappointing. I also really hate how they raised the amount of event currency it would take to earn each prize for Acts 2 & 3. I’m hoping the next event is better organized than this one and that EA reads and learns from all the negative comments from this THOH event.

And now that the event is over, if I want the Beasts to run around my town & earn $500, I *STILL* have to *cough* ‘earn’ more of this bovine excrement to store?
Who’s bright idea was this??! Why couldn’t it at least have been a random, occasional drop, like the prizes you get playing Insanity Cauldron, etc? Ugh.
The most disappointed I’ve been with a Tapped Out Halloween questline and prizes. What a waste of time and a total letdown.
Agreed. Doesn’t feel like a Halloween event, just another bunch of tasks to do. Even the explorer event was more interesting with the grid of dirt to dig in. There was nothing really inspiring me to care enough to even try. I have over a 140 characters now and the only ones I do anything with are the trash collectors and Maggie. Thanksgiving will probably be a smaller event; hopefully Xmas will be interesting. If not it will be time for the X button.
The sequence of this act felt out of order. Seemed like the design was created by someone who hasn’t played the game or doesn’t grasp the “tapped out” idea behind “The Simpsons: Tapped Out!”. In the past, I could definitely tap incorrectly but this was different. Mid-event, mid-act there were serious advantages to not tapping. Weird.
For me, it went #1- get Dracula, #2- stop collecting currency and start stockpiling (like in between acts in the past events), #3- get Lord Montemort, #4- finish the main quest line and #5- resume currency collection.
But on the plus side, as an addict, I’m seeing a lot less ads on the app. Smoother reading!!!
Dracula! Finally something Halloweeny! Now we’re on a roll. Wait..what? The event’s ending?!
Why so much crap that you can’t use!!!! It loads up your in inventory. I have 28,000 goblin gold to spend but nothing really worth buying. It was a waste of time doing this event. The sad thing is you can’t sell anything like it was in the beginning. This way you can keep your inventory of the stuff you want and like.
Even though he does not fit the event’s theme, Dracula is probably the best new character in this event mainly because 4 out of 5 of his tasks are really great (1 hour one is not the good task) because of the good visuals, the 12 hour task uses the Bloodmobile that no one else uses and the 24 hour task is at the House of Evil that only Wise Guy and the Evil Shopkeeper uses. The only disappointment with him is that he is not voiced in TO and yet in the show he is voiced by one of the core 6 cast members.
I accidentally clicked “store” when Dracula popped up and now I can’t find him. He doesn’t show up under characters in my storage box (nothing does).
I tried re-starting the app and logging out and back in. Any other ideas? Anyone else see this?
Same here, or rather I assume I accidentally clicked “store” on him. It was at the same time all the beasts were finished and I was storing their stuff too. So I stored everything 🙁
But, no Dracula now in my inventory.
This is a common issue. He’s not under the character-tab in your inventory, but he should be in your main inventory. Just scroll to the end and he should be somewhere there.

I third that issue. I have over 33,000 event currency, and should have earned Dracula by now. However, I’m woefully behind on battling Burns (have not yet defeated him two full times). I do not see Dracula in my inventory, and I never saw any dialogue boxes noting that I earned Dracula.
Was there a separate link that addressed this? It seems like more than a few people are running into this – is this a new thought process as part of the game?

I stored Dracula by accident myself. Couldn’t find him under characters but I did find him scrolling through the regular inventory list that shows everything. Try looking there. Hope this helps.

No. They come after you finish the questline…
I can’t for the life of me figure out how Count Dracula fits in with this event. Just another example of lazy programming by EA.
