As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. The Magical Halloween Event has gone…although we’re still waiting for the official removal update to hit our stores, let’s just all pretend it’s officially over…before you know it there will be snow in Springfield!
So now that the Halloween is over (at least we’re pretending it is), I thought it would be a good time for another Springfield Showoff! This time featuring your THOH inspired designs, as it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time! You guys have some great designs and ideas so let’s take a look:

I was fairly disenchanted with this event, & barely kept up with TSTO or TSTOAddicts (sorry, Alissa!), so I missed the announcement, but this is the 1st time I actually like one of my little designs, so I’ll share it here anyway. 😀

I just really liked the idea of this li’l monster pub tucked away in the forest! lol I built this waaaay before Barfy/Beast Barney unlocked, and when I get a moment I’ll probably add him to the scene. 😊
My birthday is on Halloween, and I gotta say, this event was a rather poor present. *sigh* I am enjoying the Thanksgiving mini-event, so at least there’s that! 😉

Thanks. In a way I’m glad there’s not much new buildings for me in that update so I can stick with my original planning and be done designing quickly.

I think suzelac29 wins this one. That Diagon alley layout, the Monorail station, Hagrid’s hut, the Herbology greenhouse, and the Quidditch pitchis incredible. And the Maze from the Triwizard tournament, even!

ahh, that was you. Awesome town! Along with the big nature area, I really like the main town part of Springfield. How did you get two rocket launch pads? Is that a glitch?

That is cool…what did you use to record?
It’s an Android app called Game Screen Recorder. Unfortunately, they don’t offer it for iOS (at least not that I can find), which meant I had to do the recording on my little phone. Would have preferred to have been able to record it from my tablet, but I’m just happy to have finally found an app that will do this at all. I could have added an audio narration while recording it, if I’d wanted to, but I chose to mute the microphone for this purpose.
