Or in this case…not eating Turkey. Of course all new anything in Springfield means there are items back in our stores…just asking us to drop our sprinkles.
Of course with that limited-time label, it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

My Opinion On It Now: If you missed out on him, 30 donuts isn’t an awful price to pay to get him in Springfield. Check out the details and the game, if you think it’s something you’d like pick him up. But I’ve had him for a year..and I’ve pretty much forgotten about him.

Is anyone missing Jacqueline? She is was available to purchase when the event started, but I didn’t have enough donuts then. Now she’s not there.
Also, I contacted EA and they said there’s nothing they can do other than credit me some donuts. So it looks like I won’t be getting Jacqueline 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t know why but lately the smaller events are way more fun that the longer events (and of course WAY shorter). Is it only a question of duration? Is it a question that the smaller events are easier to unlock all the prizes? Is it because of the prizes that are far less attractive? Is it because EA has lost its path? I don’t know, I don’t know. What is your guessing?
I own all of these items except for the Caged Turkey and the balloons. also quick thought are they going to have the sign for the Caesar’s Pow-Wow Casino and the Indian Chief? i have one in my town and i Believe it gives you a bonus for cash and exp.

Surpised you never did a one for the Mystical Pests Bundle
They are NPCs. So like the others, I’m sure the SIB would note “if you like them, get them; otherwise, pass.”
And based on the reactions to the event, I think everyone would rather forget it happened and pretend these aren’t in the store 😂

I would highly recommend Bigclaw if you are on the fence as he can be tapped 3 times every 24 hours and gives one of three prizes (money, xp, or the pills) every tap AND bonus multiplier is taken into account. If you have the animal sanctuary he can also be used for a joint 3 Hr task with Homer that pays well and is a visual task. He’s awesome!
I’ve had bigclaw for a couple of years now, and I have about 700+ “pills” (pharmaceuticals) from chasing him down once a day. Well over the 300 limit in normal play.
I remember when the Springfield heights came around with associated ads/awards/etc production, it was always pills I was in need of. Not now.
Is the grandpa /Jasper quest line bug going to be fixed?
The answer to my question is probably no but here goes anyway… Can the balloons be placed in Krustyland and if so would the bonus percentage be available in Springfield.
You’re correct, the balloons can only be placed in Springfield. (hopefully EA will change it in the future so there is no restriction of which items can only be placed in Krustyland and Springfield)
I’m not sure about the percentage items, but I don’t think Krustyland items count towards the percentage for Springfield.
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but with the Turkey Stuffer it has an asterisk at the end of it so it is written as Turkey Stuffer*, does it actually mean anything or is it just a typo?
Having seen Black Friday is to be mystery boxes, and knowing my luck I figure I’ll stick with Plan A.
Despite the fact I’m almost done collecting turkey pins I want CONRAD and Quinn, and if I can Chief.
That way I know what I get for my sprinkles rather than hoping for the best
Bought Piggly’s, and immediately got the Grandpa/Jasper quest, which is stuck, as I don’t have Jasper.
I bought the balloons. I have been swayed to the “dark side” of casual donut farming (Thanks Safi!!). And a 6.5% boost for 80 donuts, makes it one of the best returns on investment for a quick jump. That is 12.3 donuts per % increase…which is one of the best you can find. Even the much bally-hooed Jet Bikes are 15 donuts per % point.
I also ended up buying Quinn…5% for 150 is 30 donuts per…but I like smart girls…and the billboard is a very small footprint.
(Yes, I know you know this P) Vans and billboards through the Mystery Box (6 donuts) currently average between 6.1 and 7.7 donuts per % increase, plus you can Lard Lards and some other items you can sell.
Are Puriflanders&Lisahontas skins or indeed full characters?
Smörg&Pow-Wow were instabuys PLUS the casino sign (D/% ratio on the expensive side, but it fits in).

It says “Earns: 2 full characters” above. I read that and jumped on it without reading “Thanksgiving *Outfit* Bundle” 🙁
If you tap on him, BigClaw scratches, lets out a screech and runs away leaving behind cash. Also he fairly frequently gives up pharmaceuticals. Good for when you get that daily task to collect 5 of them – and you already have the max allowed via factory tasks.
I just wait 12 hours or so and dismiss that task. I often get one for donuts, if not I wait again.
Mrs. Bouvier was a no brainer. I was planning to get the balloon bundle but now I’m hesitating.
The casino and Chief is a good deal but with the character mystery box only days away I think I’ll pass. I don’t have any of the characters from that and about half come with a decoration or building.
Thanks for the post Alissa. I snapped up Mrs Bouvier and Chief within seconds of them becoming available (due to the iOS glitch, I had sufficient mulling time). I’m now contemplating the balloon bundle; I consider <20 donuts per percentage points on anything to be a good deal. I’m just not sure what to do with them… (like a mule with a spinning wheel).
I’ve seen some people put together Macy’s style Thanksgiving Day parades using those balloons and various floats, etc. in their Springfield! 😀
I have been tempted by that, I haven’t seen an example. Since cars can’t go on the road, I’d need to clear a large area for pavement and I don’t really want the other holiday floats in my parade, so I dont know how it would work to my satisfaction. Plus, people dont tend to venture out much anymore when visiting, load times are so long, so it seems like holiday decorating should be around the Simpson house if you want people to see it, yes?
Or, you could temporarily move the Simpson House to where you have your most favourite design. That way it would still let your neighbours see your design.
(Plus if you currently have the Simpson House placed next door to Flanders, I’m sure Homer will be happy to have some time away from Flanders) 😛
I like the balloons, especially the ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ balloons, because I love animals 🙂
I guess, but I decorate for myself, first, then for others.
And, I’m happy to report that, ever since I got my new tablet, I can zip around my neighbors towns lickety split! 🙂
I tap my BigClaw every day, three times. Each 24 hours he gives experience or capsules (one thing each tap) and runs around like a maniac. It’s not much but it is free stuff and that is so rare that he gives me a thrill to see him slouching around my town.
Bouvier or the chief, can’t decide
Bouvier for me as I like completing sets (you might Patti and Selma already!).
Bigclaw is so much fun when he is fighting Homer and I always chase him whenever I stumble upon him.
