Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy posts from the past so you all can see how much they originally cost and what specifically each building, character, or decoration does.
70 donuts is a bargain for most of these items…except for items that were originally free, as getting it for free is the best deal…but still 70 donuts is a fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you really want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it. Though, personally, I’ll be going for the Character Mystery Box first.

In my building box I have Crouching Panda Hidden Eggroll, Rio-Days-Inn-Ero and Royal Tokyo, so that is 280 donuts total for all 3 at regular price but from the box it is 210 donuts for all 30 saving me about 70 donuts or 1/4 from the original price. This is still a good deal for me because at least I don’t have a free building available and they can look in the China, Brazil and Japan areas. 🙂
The only buildings I already had from the list were Moe’s house and Bastille Building. I was hoping for The Think Tank, The Greenhouse or Homer Skyscraper. Yesterday I won The Greenhouse and today I won the Think Tank. Yay thank you EA. 🌸🐱🌟
Does anyone know if there really is a way of knowing which item we will get from the boxes? If there is a trick or a pattern as to how they appear (because the order of the items changes each time) or is it just randomly selected? 🌟🌸🐱
It is a pure and complete mystery, unless you only have one item left. The whole “right most theory” is actually poor nomenclature as theory implies the observation is repeatable. And more often than not, you will NOT get the right most item.

Buildings with no Characters

I’m not a noob and I liked this box….it’s a good one for those of us who enjoy the town-designing aspect of this game.
Spent a lot on other mystery boxes, so I’m glad to get Little Lisa Recycling Plant on the first hit. Major bargain – much, much better than a regular Black Friday sale.
We will really need a poll at the end of the sale to see how many donuts people spent, in total. I’m betting the top end of poll results will be in the stratosphere of multiple THOUSANDS of donuts…
I decided to use an iTunes card to buy some doughnuts for the tokens and to purchase some new items. I just need to decide which of the boxes to open… From this box I would really like the think tank, greenhouse or Homer skyscraper. But I don’t have anything except Moes house and the Bastille building, so quite a big gamble. 😐 I agree, it would be interesting to see the amount of 🍩🍩🍩 that were spent and bought. 🐱🌟🌸
I went only for the characters, I had 5 on offer, so I spent 400, I’ve been KEM farming prior to Black Friday (for the first time on about half a year), so it didn’t really bother me to spend it, but i won’t gamble on the other boxes. Most don’t have anything of interest to me, and the one that does have Maison Derriere has way too many other items. I don’t think I would get it in less than 3 tries to make it advantegous.
I’ve been envying that greenhouse in my neighbors towns for ages, and now it’s mine!!
I liked this box and will probably get just about everything that I didn’t already have.
There is so much good stuff in most of these boxes that I feel like I’m getting tons of little holiday presents (albeit a bit early)! 😃🎁😃 I’m not putting out everything I’m getting right away, though, both because I haven’t figured out where everything should go and because I want to stretch out the fun!
First time the greenhouse was offered, I was donut poor. Second time, it was in a bundle with a character I already had, so it wasn’t offered to me. This time, it’s in a box with seven other things that I don’t particularly want, and maybe one or two other things I wouldn’t mind having. It would seem I’m never gonna get that greenhouse ☹️

I already own Beach House from last black Friday, and King Homer’s Skyscraper from this Halloween. Not really keen on getting anything else from the box. I spent the rest of my donuts on Sideshow Mel, Sophie, Diabetty, and trying to empty the Bronze box. Back to 6 donuts again.
Sure… bring back everything but the glowing rotating waste barrels.

Is anyone else experiencing a glitchy game? I was finishing up the story ine tasks for Quinn and Coat of Foxes Krusty and now I can barley move through my Springfield. Also, my game keeps making the task done noise repeatedly….

Thank you, Patric. Turned it off, cleared cache, & restarted to no avail. Uninstalled & reinstalled…still the same problem. Same as compu73rguy. I’m now hoping that when the Thanksgiving/Black Friday update is over it will return to normal.
Have you had the message about “too many decorations” ? During the Halloween event I was barely able to scroll at all, but I stored a couple of decorations and it fixed the problem. 🐱🌸🌟
Actually, no. Since yesterday, I have the sound that plays when a mission is complete playing on loop… Doesn’t stop me from playing the game, but it’s annoying (I restarted, went to Krustyland, went to visit a friend, had a friend visit me, use bluestacks to access my game, neither of those worked (and it did it on Bluestacks too)).
It’s funny how appealing the Beach House is to me right now, I’d like it but I don’t really have a suitable place for it.
