“Hugo unimpressed by squirrel-girl.” (Keep it PG Luann).
Since I’ve never gotten around to participating in these before, I’ll have a go at all five of them.
1: She had never been too concerned about her own privacy, and had no trouble scrubbing her back in public. Little did she know that this mundane task had caught the romantic attention of a certain Rigelian representative who claimed to be visiting Earth with “only the noblest and most diplomatic intentions, and not at all to commit acts of piracy.”
2: It was outside the Johnny Fiestas, on a surprisingly warm day in November, that Hugo had an epiphany. He realised that there might be more important things in this world than his life-long career as an evil twin. After all, why would he want to subject the world to his evil deeds, when said world contained such beautiful women as Luann van Houten?
3: Gina Vendetti considered herself to be a very tough girl, but the violent scene was too much, even for her. Maybe it was the toddlers that seemed destined to begin a life of crime even earlier than herself. Maybe she was scared of the giant monsters, or maybe the kids who where using magic spells to defeat them. Maybe all of the above. Laura Powers on the other hand was determined. She refused miss out on the monster-slaying fun.
4: Both the construction worker and the sea captain praised the heavens, because they were convinced that it was raining women. The mafioso on the other hand was terrified, because Italian-Americans (and especially mafiosos) believe that the arrival of Mary Poppins is a bad omen.
5: For most Springfielders it was just an ordinary day: Freddy Quimby was drunk, the old Jewish man was sorting through his pills, and they had time travellers from both the past and the future. Little did they know that these seemingly random series of events had given Sgt. Skinner flashbacks to Vietnam . When Laura Powers fainted and the ever so helpful Weird Al rushed to her aid it only made things worse for the sarge, and he started beating Freddy with his rifle. Although many agreed Freddy needed a good beating (including his own uncle and Mayor), Sgt. Skinner had to attend court ordered therapy, and was diagnosed with PTSD.
2) Squirrel-woman, huh? Not as cute as my pigeon-rat.
3) Incoming deadly fart – raise magical barrier!!!
5) Jump! Jump! Jump!
