Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front! Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with premium items from Christmases past tempting us to spend our sprinkles!

I picked up the animal shelter a while back from a mystery bundle. I was thinking of putting the human subject in my Frink laboratory area, but I just spent half my doughnuts of Tinsel Ralph, so I am going to refrain from spending more at this time.

Finally got a few Poinsettias to decorate my town! Been waiting all year to see if anybody at EA was listening last Christmas…guess they were😄👍.
Really wish they cost only 40 boards, tho, 80 is too high.
I’ve been tempted by the pointsettias but feel too strong an urge to fill my town with gumdrop rocks (which look more like bushes to me).

random question, has anyone else had the worst day trying to play this by being logged out every time and downloading several times before the game actually opens. after 9hrs of 5 download attempts it finally opened. i’ve contacted ea that this issue which has been ongoing for over a week is being looked at but the damage is done. i have to spend $15 every after 2 plays as the downloads use all my data but multiple downloads that don’t work have been the last straw. i unfortunately cannot keep playing this event which sucks atleast until it’s fixed. i’ve been robbed of $120 worth of data in 3 days by ea because of this issue. happy tapping to all those that aren’t affected
This often happens if your phone is low on space. Make sure you have at least 2GB of free space on your phone & it should stop happening.
If you have a ton of space available & it still keeps happening…I dunno. 😕 But from what I’ve seen in the comments of many posts (esp lately, for some reason – maybe the file size jumped quite a bit recently?? I have no idea…), a lack of free space seems to be the cause of this issue, and it’s nearly always alleviated by transfering old pics/vids and deleting unused apps from your phone.

ea got back to me that the issue isn’t space at all but the latest version of ios 11 the game has trouble functioning on
Some have had this same issue.. what they have said is if your phone has very little left of room it will cause this constant redownloading. They said once they freed up space the problem went away. So check to see how much storage space you have left on your device. You may have to removed stuff like tunes or pictures/videos to free up space.
ME!!!!!! I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, didn’t have to update for a while but then it happened again. And it takes forever. Just this last one told me I didn’t have enough memory left on my phone… I didn’t do much on my phone since the last “download” but it made me wonder/worry if it kept taking up THAT much more memory every time…
