It’s time for Act 2 of the battle for Christmas! Yes, Act 2 descended upon our games early this morning & with it dropped a whole new crazy questline to work your way through. (Note…the dialogue is REALLY funny with this. Slow down, take your time & read it. It’s great)
For Act 2 of Christmas, you’re tasked with assembling the B.S. League to destroy the Aliens once and for all…and of course you’ll get a certain big guy and red to help!
As was mentioned on the run down post Act 2 of Christmas runs until January 2nd (when the whole event ends), and you’ll need Kang and Kodos to get things started
Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…also the questline is there to guide you. So don’t skip it, otherwise you’ll be stuck! Questline=event progression. So don’t forget about it.
Now let’s work our way through the battle frenzy of the Act 2 questline….
This questline is going to take you to the B.S. League Battles & unlocking Santa. You’ll only be able to battle 7 times…no more. Once you finish the battle questline that part is over. Beyond that you’ll earn event currency via the same way you did in Act 1….Funzo tapping and Re-Gifter game (As well as Daily Challenges)

I’m on the second to last part of bolderdashing…but my daily task/for 450 currency is “send BS squad into battle”. I don’t see anything in part 15 that amounts to “sending BS squad to battle” so…just wondering, will I be able to still send them to battle later or will I lose out on the 450 forever only having 4/8 sent? I know it’s not the worst thing ever but…I’d appreciate not losing out on the 450 if I could…help?
You can cancel one of your challenges per day and get a new one. I canceled every time I get one with a wrapping paper reward and went for the tomes instead.

You don’t need Otto to complete the event, but if you do want him, check the furniture shop in Springfield heights. If you need to look elsewhere for him; click on the saw and hammer in bottom right, then on the bart homer and dog button in the top left of pop up, then scroll left until you see Otto.
Major discovery! Apologies if someone has figured this out already, but I’ve figured out a way to get funzos to appear so much faster than waiting 18 minutes.
Have a stretch of road where a lot, if not all your people are in close quarters, but with space enough to select them individually.
Now have a funzo be walking along that street where all the people are, but don’t tap it, just let it be. People standing near the funzo, one at a time will be hypnotized by it and then you can tap that person (be sure not to accidentally tap the walking around funzo as well).
Doing this will give you tombs and wrapping paper and sometimes wood just like tapping a normal walking around funzo, except they spawn every 30-60 seconds!
Feel free to add my neighborhood so see what my street looks like so you get a clearer idea of what I mean. I hope this majorly helps people, especially though who want to get ahead or need to catch up.

I don’t know how to update a post so I’ll just reply to my own.
People have to not be doing tasks to be hypnotized from what I’m seeing, also it seems to be certain people over and over again.
Flanders and Smithers by far have been hypnotized the most. Krusty and patty have as well. I have seen Nelson, Bart, homer, snake, and mr burns also be hypnotized, but very infrequently. It just seems to be going back to Flanders or Smithers and if one of them aren’t around it goes to one of the others I mentioned that are nearby at the time.
I have Lisa and Sergeant Skinner a lot, and Kirk seems especially susceptible – I had to free him three times in just two or three minutes the other day.
Hello there, I have an update on my theory. I can confirm that very specific people get hypnotized over and over again and they have to be standing near the walking around funzo, and also it will not hypnotize another until you’ve freed the person it initially hypnotized. It also seems like people get hypnotized when you’re following the funzo around, as opposed to being somewhere else in your town.
Once you find out who specifically gets hypnotized ( about 10 characters repeatedly) you can send everyone else on a task without interrupting your strategy.
By using the approach I described in previous posts I managed to get kwanza dr hibbert in under 2 hours just by following the walk around funzo and tapping on the hypnotized, as well as using the gift machine with l the wrapping paper I was accumulating in such a short period of time. If you are lucky you can tap 3 hypnotized characters in under 15 seconds so this is a serious advantage over the waiting 18 minutes approach.
I have ~12 people in the brown house and one of them is tied to a Funzo… they’re on a 24 hr task and I’m not paying doughnuts to rush them all to see who needs to be freed!
You don’t need to. Just go to Town Hall and find the character who’s hypnotized from among the characters in that building. Then, just use the Go To button and it will free the Funzo.
Are you sure that the ones that are agreeing that quickly aren’t just being released from the bank? Are you sure you’re actually getting more total Funzos?
It’s possible, but they’re being released rapidly if you are correct to the point of getting a whole prize done in under 2 hours, I’d say that worth trying out. I’m half way done the next prize and I was only halfway done the second free land piece when I started today so it has gotten me days ahead of schedule in just hours.
In that case, you may be on to something. I’ll try to remember to try this out when I free everyone from their 4-hour tasks at midday.
Jebus, , I didn’t know you needed to have characters unassigned, that explains a lot, thanks! I usually try to keep my streets clear, trying this now.
I’m happy to help. For those unsure of if this is legit, I have nearly finished the event as Ive started working on the last prize(Jack Frost) and I’ve unlocked all the carpentry items except the last one. I do not think that these are banked funzos because I went through prize 3-6 in one day and my event is nearly complete already and I’ll be done the collecting for the prizes and on to collecting for the free donuts when I complete the Jack Frost prize with 10 days to spare. I highly recommend this approach, even if for a little while.
Tip! Having 2 walking around funzos on the same street when doing this technique makes the hypnotizing happen even faster(assuming one of your characters that often gets hypnotized is standing or walking nearby), although you have to keep track of 2 funzos now so either one could hypnotize.
Another tip is surround your street walking area 100% with something the funzos can’t walk through but that also doesn’t hinder your vision much or else you may lost track of a funzo and accidentally click it, or your funzo might wander off through the smallest of space and away from your street. Water doesn’t block funzos.

Should we hold off on completing the first boss fight so we can keep getting the prize currency from two of the characters until we have enough for kwanzaa hibbert or can they keep earning once complete?
It won’t work. Even if you just send the B.S. League to battle (and not aliens) once you’ve completed that task it’ll say Done and you won’t be able to do it again.
sorry. i was afraid i wasnt clear. if i just send two out of the three over and over then it wont complete the task and i can still earn prize currency by repeating those two. it says their part is completed but they still earn prize currency by repeating it.

Long time follower, first time contributor. Love the site guys, thanks for the the hard work. Just picked up Jesus. I created a little paved island for the stairway to heaven and realised that after Jesus’ tasks, he walks on water afterwards – unintended hilarity!
This looks like a LOL worthy and welcomed relief of an Xmas Event vs last year (and makes up for the meh Treehouse of Horror Event this year). It’s going to be a close call getting all of the Act 2 Event Prizes (not impossible, just not a guarantee Tappers will earn Bonus Donuts – so Kem Farm on the side)👍
I take it many Premium Characters will help during Fighting Aliens (choose wisely what Characters with Buildings you spend sprinkles on) 😉

This event reminds me of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Only it’s Santa Claus, Jesus, Buddha, and Shiva Conquer the Rigelians.

If you are into conspiracy theories, it is said that aliens created us as slaves and Christ, Shiva are the same beings but in different avatars(bodies). They came to remind us spiritually of who we are spiritually. Satan/Satan/Saturn are said to be the same being that steers us to a life of materialism. Now that’s a conspiracy theory that reminds me of this event.
Why not… after all, most religious text is man made in some capacity. So, this is as good as anything else. You will love my Friday Filler…
