So when you first get into Springfield you’ll see Gil waving his arms around..doing his best impression of Touchdown Jesus (fitting considering who he’s offering up)…just begging you to tap on him…

At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…

Premium or Freemium:
I know it’s pricey…but it’s great! Dialogue is hilarious, tasks are funny & all around good character. Donut price stinks, but this is probably the worst priced item of the event…and I still think it’s worth the price.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I already told you, I picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Jesus was NEVER available for purchase in the store for me. I’ve gotten everything else from this event but Jesus was NEVER an option. Worst. Event. Ever!

Very disappointed… I waited for the SIB and by the time it was out, Gil had mysteriously disappeared. This was before the 26th, so he should have still been around peddling his wares, but I guess it must have been a bug.
The SIB was posted the day after it hit our games. So don’t blame the SIB timing… It was very timely.

I wasn’t too excited about much of the content in this event but did snap up Jesus & Shiva. Both have great animation! I was extra pleased to see that Jesus’ stairway can be placed on pier sections. I placed it on an island of 4 Ornate Pier sections and I really like the way it looks over the water!
I am a freemium player but I was waiting for Xmas and iTunes cards, so I bought some extra donuts and splurged!! It was worth it! I had 100 donuts already so spent 10.00 on the 132 donuts and got him.. awesome! Just too much fun! So glad I splurged.. overpriced yes, but for me, worth it.. then I even spent the 5.00 and got the holiday scratch R ticket, got 100 donuts more.. my son got 300 on his holiday scratch R. Xmas was fun this year! Best donut day, lol!!

I was waiting until Christmas Eve to decide if I wanted to give myself this present. That is a lot of donuts, but I’m glad I decided Yes. Thanks for the good advice, y’all!
Honestly, I feel that he either should of been the final prize of the event instead of Jack Frost, a craftable prize that popped up in the carpentry shop during act two, or a free character that popped up by playing through the story. But, this is just my two cents about it.
Any who, I passed up on him as I don’t have the donuts currently to afford him.
I found he was well worth the donuts compared to burns dragon so I had to snag him and already have plans on getting Shiva a little later before the event is over.
I can’t wait for Gil to become a playable character in this game. I’m gonna have fun torturing him over and over again for bothering me with his tempting offers. I remember everything he ever sold us, from the Mayflower to this one.
This was a big disappointment for me. I was really looking forward to getting him but he’s possibly the only character in the game that can never leave his building and become part of Springfield. The animations are cute but it seems they could’ve done so much more with him. Hopefully they’ll give him some more tasks down the road.
You should add a “working towards getting the deal” on your poll. This is the worst deal but since I’ve gotten some GREAT buys, i can justify this purchase. Good thing I dont have a winter mystery box or else I wouldn’t have been able to get it.
I love having Jesus in my SF. His visual tasks are superb. For those who are hesitant or can’t afford him, I reckon he will resurface at Easter. Merry Christmas to all my lovely neighbours far and wide and other addicts near and far……💜X

I really wanted the whole League, or I wouldn’t have spent 199 donuts on anything.
Now their secret base is in my store for another 150 donuts, which is annoying. I want it, it it better be awfully special for a price like that.
It is not. Trust me on that. That is a Do Not Buy from me.
Buddha was free. Shiva, 75 donuts. And Jesus 199. One could look at it like the latter being worth more. Or one could look at it like the former being more accessible to the masses. (Tho obviously what’s going on is that EA felt, probably correctly, that more people would be willing to pay more for Jesus.)
